The trailer of the series,
Bhog
is out. What begins with quiet curiosity descends into a haunting spiral of obsession in
Bhog
, the newest
mythological horror
. Directed by
Parambrata Chattopadhyay
, the series brings to screen Anirban Bhattacharya in a genre-defining avatar as Atin, alongside Parno Mittra as the mysterious and otherworldly Damri. The cast also features Rajatava Dutta, Sudipa Basu, and Subhasish Mukhopadhyay in pivotal roles. The trailer of Bhog is now streaming, offering a tantalizing glimpse into this atmospheric saga of faith, fear, and the fragility of reason.
Atin is a man of logic, grounded in facts and reason. But his world begins to fracture the day he visits an old curio shop run by a friend and stumbles upon a striking brass idol. His friend, in an act of eerie generosity, insists he take the idol home without paying. What begins as a seemingly harmless gesture slowly unravels Atin's grip on reality. With no idea how to properly worship the deity, Atin improvises rituals—and soon, dreams begin. A divine voice whispers, "
Amar ei moha khuda ke metabe
Atin." From that moment on, Atin is no longer himself.
As visions blur into waking life, Damri enters the scene—played with haunting elegance by Parno, whose eerie transformation brings an unsettling mystique to the series. With her arrival, Atin's descent into madness accelerates. His devotion intensifies, teetering on the edge of mania. Worship turns obsessive, ritual becomes frenzy, and the sacred grows sinister. Bhog explores that dark threshold—when faith stops guiding and starts consuming.

'
Bhog
is not just horror—it's psychological, emotional, and deeply human,' said Anirban. He added, 'Atin is a man who believes in sense and science. But when confronted with the unknown, his transformation is terrifying. That unraveling was deeply personal to play.'
'Damri is unlike any character I've played before,' shared Parno. She added, 'She's enigmatic—both ethereal and unsettling. I think she embodies the very spirit of the series, where nothing is ever quite what it seems.'
As
Bhog
unfolds, it asks unsettling questions: Is love the deepest tantra? Can all hunger be met? What happens when a mystical deity is left to starve? In its blend of folklore, mysticism, and psychological tension, Bhog redefines Bengali horror for the streaming generation.

Karan Johar calls out Bollywood's 'herd mentality'; Criticises trend of copying hits: 'You see 'Chhaava' working...'

Filmmaker Karan Johar has shared his honest thoughts about what's going wrong in Bollywood right now. The 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' director said that the biggest issue troubling the film industry today is the 'herd mentality'. He explained how too many filmmakers are trying to copy what's already worked instead of coming up with fresh and original ideas. 'Everybody wants to do what others are doing' While speaking to Bollywood Hungama, KJo pointed out that many in the industry are trying to repeat the success of hit films instead of focusing on new stories. He said, 'I think it is everybody grappling to do what others are doing. We see 'Pushpa' running and catering so strongly to the tier-2 and tier-3 audiences, suddenly, we will see 20 others wanting to do the same. You see 'Chhaava' working, everybody would want to make historicals. 'Stree' and everybody wants to make horror comedies. Those worked because they were individually strong, and there was no other option in that genre. It was a unique thought that made those films work.' The 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' director believes that the reason films like 'Stree' and 'Pushpa' did well is because they were different and strong in their own way. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Düsseldorf: Gutes Hören sucht 700 Testhörer für Hörgeräte ohne Zuzahlung Gutes Hören Undo Just copying those genres will not give the same results, he said. 'We need unique ideas' Karan also spoke about how important it is for filmmakers to trust their own thoughts and ideas rather than follow others. He shared how someone once asked him if he had his own film universe, like a spy or cop universe. The 'My Name is Khan' director further explained, 'We all need to have individual thoughts that are unique to ourselves. Someone asked me the other day, 'Do you have a universe?' I was like, 'As in?' They were like, 'A spy universe or a cop universe.' I was like, 'My universe is cinema itself.' I am not here to build universes, I am here to tell stories. In that story if there's a universe, then why not?' Karan made it clear that he is more interested in telling good stories rather than trying to build a big film universe just to fit in. Cannes appearance for 'Homebound' Apart from sharing his thoughts on the state of Bollywood, Karan recently made headlines for his appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. He attended the premiere of his film 'Homebound', which is backed by his production house. 'Homebound' is directed by Neeraj Ghaywan and stars Ishaan Khatter , Vishal Jethwa , and Janhvi Kapoor . Travis Kelce's drug confession could test Taylor Swift's limits in their high-profile relationship

Taylor Swift's relationship with Travis Kelce faces scrutiny as an old interview resurfaces (Getty Images) As Taylor Swift continues to dominate global headlines with her record-breaking music tours and carefully protected persona, her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce is also drawing intense public scrutiny. Now, a resurfaced interview from Kelce's past may be raising concerns—not just among fans, but potentially for Swift herself. Travis Kelce's resurfaced marijuana confession may be the biggest relationship red flag yet During the interview, Travis Kelce casually revealed that a large number of NFL players use marijuana during the offseason, saying many simply 'taper off' before the league's short testing window begins. 'I would say about 50 to 80 percent of the league,' Kelce estimated, referring to players who regularly use cannabis. While his comments may seem like harmless honesty to some, in the context of Swift's ultra-controlled public image, this kind of off-the-cuff candor could be problematic. Swift is known not just for her musical talent but for her exceptional brand management. She rarely speaks publicly about drama, opting instead to craft her messages through lyrics, carefully timed posts, or subtle metaphors. For someone who famously steers clear of controversy unless absolutely necessary, being linked to a partner who once disclosed locker room secrets—and admitted to past drug use—could be a reputational red flag. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Play Chess on Your PC, Free Play Classic Chess Install Now Undo Especially since Kelce's drug-related past isn't limited to comments. Back in college, the tight end was suspended during his sophomore year at the University of Cincinnati for reportedly failing a drug test for marijuana. That incident likely impacted his NFL draft position. Although he has bounced back with an elite career, such past moments remain embedded in his public narrative. Swift's romantic history has already been shaped by public heartbreak and reputational fallout. Whether it's controversial exes or social media spats with former friends, she's learned to keep her circle tight and her tolerance for drama low. In Kelce, fans see a genuine, fun-loving personality—but Swift may be calculating what these resurfaced remarks could mean for her long-term image.
