Alright, hockey fans, let's talk Shoresy ! The Letterkenny spin-off that's all about chirps, heart, and the gritty charm of Sudbury hockey has us pumped for Season 5. After Season 4 dropped on Crave (January 24, 2025) and Hulu (February 26, 2025), the big question is: what's next for Shoresy and the Sudbury Bulldogs? From release date guesses to cast news and plot hints, here's the full scoop on Shoresy Season 5—everything we know so far, straight from the rink. When Could Shoresy Season 5 Hit Screens?
No official release date yet, but let's piece it together. Shoresy has been cranking out seasons like clockwork, one per year since 2022. Season 4 was filmed in summer 2024 and landed on Crave in January 2025, with Hulu dropping it a month later. Word is, Season 5 production kicks off in spring 2025. If the team sticks to their usual pace, we're looking at a Crave premiere in January or February 2026, with Hulu likely following in February or March 2026. Keep your eyes on Crave or Hulu's socials for the official drop date—fingers crossed it's sooner rather than later! Who's Back for Shoresy Season 5?
The Sudbury Bulldogs wouldn't be the same without their core crew, and most of the fan-favorites are confirmed to return. Here's who's lacing up for Season 5: Jared Keeso as Shoresy: The chirp-slinging, mom-loving captain is back, ready to lead (and probably offend) with passion.
Tasya Teles as Nat: The Bulldogs' sharp-witted owner will keep Shoresy in line—or at least try to.
Blair Lamora as Ziigwan: Nat's right-hand woman, bringing her no-BS vibe to the rink.
Keilani Rose as Miigwan: The other half of Nat's dynamic duo, Miigwan's set to return, too.
Jonathan-Ismaël Diaby as Dolo: The ex-NHLer's chill, hip-hop-loving energy is a lock for Season 5.
Terry Ryan as Ted 'Hitch' Hitchcock: Another former pro hockey player, Hitch is back for more laughs.
We're still waiting on word about other Bulldogs or new faces. Fans on Reddit are begging for characters like Fish to make a comeback, and there's chatter about Letterkenny crossovers (think Laurence Leboeuf or Scott Thompson) or even big-name guests like Donald Glover—though that's just wishful thinking for now. The show loves tossing in real hockey players, so expect some surprises. What's the Plot for Shoresy Season 5?
Season 4 left us with some big changes. After their cup win, the Bulldogs dealt with summer shenanigans in Sudbury, and Shoresy made the gut-punch call to retire from competitive hockey due to injuries. So, what's next? While the writers are keeping things hush-hush, Season 5 will likely dig into Shoresy's life off the ice, exploring how he and the team adjust. Will the Bulldogs stay tight-knit without the rink? Could new rivalries spark up? Expect the show's classic mix of crude humor, team loyalty, and those quiet, heartfelt moments that hit you right in the feels.
Sudbury's real-life spots, like the Sudbury Community Arena or local bars, will probably keep setting the scene. Reddit fans are buzzing about possible roster shake-ups—some even want JJ benched for being a flaky teammate—but we'll have to wait and see what the writers cook up.

Hulu Developing a Series Remake of John Ritter's STAY TUNED with Josh Gad Getting Sucked Into TV Mayhem — GeekTyrant

Get ready for some wild channel surfing. Hulu is diving headfirst into nostalgic chaos with a new comedy series Stay Tuned , starring and executive produced by Josh Gad and Andrew Rannells. The show is a reimagining of the 1992 cult movie Stay Tuned , which originally starred John Ritter and Pam Dawber as a couple who get sucked into a hellish world of twisted television programming. I loved this movie when I was a kid! The series is being developed by Akiva Goldsman, Jordan Cahan, and Greg Lessans, with Cahan on board as showrunner. This updated take will follow Gad and Rannells as they find themselves quite literally on the wrong side of the screen, forced to navigate their way through the chaos of binge-worthy TV. 'For over a decade Andrew and I have been the Laverne and Shirley of our generation (according to our mothers.),' said Gad. 'It only makes sense to now do a TV series where we can literally do an episode as 'Laverne and Shirley' (assuming the rights to those characters aren't prohibitively expensive and that the algorithm rewards 'Laverne and Shirley' viewership.)' Rannells added, 'Personally, Josh and I have always reminded me more of a Sam and Diane or at times a Cagney and Lacey, but either way, I am thrilled we are reuniting once again! This time with Akiva, Greg and Jordan, who seem even more unhinged than we are.' The original Stay Tuned , directed by Peter Hyams, was produced by Morgan Creek and followed a suburban couple stuck inside a demonic TV world. The new version has Goldsman and Lessans producing through Weed Road Productions alongside Morgan Creek's James G. Robinson and David Robinson, and Aaron Semmel. This marks the first full on-screen team-up for Gad and Rannells, who have been close since starring in The Book of Mormon on Broadway. They recently reunited in Gutenberg! The Musical , and popped up together briefly in History of the World, Part II . The show also reunites Cahan and Rannells from their work on Showtime's Black Monday , where Cahan co-created and Rannells starred. Cahan is also known for Champaign ILL and is currently developing projects with Michael B. Jordan. As for the stars, Rannells has been busy with roles in Too Much , Welcome to Chippendales , I Don't Understand You , and Paul Feig's Another Simple Favor . He'll also appear in Jim Rash's upcoming film Miss You, Love You and co-host The Great American Baking Show . Gad, the voice of Olaf in Frozen , is set to appear in Marvel's Wonder Man on Disney+, as well as Nora Kirkpatrick's A Tree Fell In the Woods , Alex Winter's Adulthood , and the next Angry Birds movie. Goldsman, whose screenwriting credits include A Beautiful Mind , I Am Legend , and The Da Vinci Code , continues to be a major player in film and TV, with multiple projects brewing including sequels to Constantine and Practical Magic . Meet the cast of Hulu's "Are You My First?"

An NFL cheerleader from New Orleans, a commercial pilot from Oklahoma and a cocktail waitress from Tampa are among the cast of Hulu's new unscripted series "Are You My First?" Why it matters: This new dating experiment from the producers of "Love Island USA" follows 21 virgin singles looking to find "the one." Hosting the show are Colton Underwood and Kaitlyn Bristowe from "The Bachelor" franchise. Here's a look at the cast: Andrew, a 25-year-old from Salt Lake City who works in tech sales, is waiting to have sex until he finds his forever person. Brooklyn, a 24-year-old dance teacher from Los Angeles, believes the right person is worth the wait. Carissa, a 24-year-old photographer from Long Beach, California, is holding out for the person who's truly right for her. Deya, a 28-year-old small business owner from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, wants a storybook love and fears being physically intimate in a relationship that won't last. Farha, a 25-year-old writer and content creator from Miami, grew up in a religious home and, as a late bloomer, figured if she waited this long, she can keep waiting to find true love. Godwin, a 27-year-old real estate developer from Edison, New Jersey, enjoys the attention his virginity brings him and wants to find his queen. Hakeem, a 27-year-old voiceover artist from Atlanta, knows the risks and isn't approaching a sexual relationship lightly. Jade, a 27-year-old NFL cheerleader from New Orleans who was also Miss New Orleans USA, has never been in a serious relationship. Jake, a 32-year-old caregiver from Los Angeles, is called by his Christian faith to wait until marriage. Katya, a 28-year-old theatre artist from New York City, said that sex is power. Krash, a 24-year-old social media manager from Miami, said a strict upbringing taught him to wait until he found the right person. Layne, a 24-year-old commercial pilot from Hammon, Oklahoma, has never had a serious girlfriend. Madi, a 28-year-old marketing manager from Austin, Texas, fears intimacy and is waiting until she meets her true love. Michael, who is also from Austin, is a 26-year-old tour guide and stand-up comedian working through a fear of intimacy. Mike, a 34-year-old alum of "The Bachelorette," is an entrepreneur and gym owner from San Diego. He's waiting for marriage — a choice rooted in his Christian beliefs. Noah, a 25-year-old business owner from San Clemente, California, has been waiting until marriage. Rachael, a 30-year-old cocktail waitress from Tampa, has been navigating a health challenge that affects physical intimacy. Sara, a 28-year-old student from San Diego, prioritized her studies growing up and now is holding out for love. Spencer, a 25-year-old residential solar salesman from Boise, Idaho, is waiting for a connection that will make his first sexual experience fulfilling and meaningful. Ty, a 25-year-old web developer from Provo, Utah, chose celibacy before marriage due to religious reasons. Vivek, a 23-year-old financial accountant from Los Angeles, wants to share that first moment with someone he truly trusts.
