San Angelo man jailed in connection with baby's death

A San Angelo man charged in connection with the death of his 4-month-old daughter, who was found dead inside a motel dresser drawer in Houston, remained jailed Monday in the Tom Green County Jail. Jeremy B. Fancher was being held on an $850,000 bond for a murder charge out of Harris County, online jail records show. In addition, Destiny Campos, the baby's 21-year-old mother, was being held in Harris County Jail on a $250,000 bond for a murder charge, according to online jail records and Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez's social media. Jeremy Fancher's current girlfriend, Marilyn Jennifer Mork of San Angelo, was charged with hindering apprehension or prosecution of a known felon in connection with a June 21 incident, according to online jail records and a Facebook post by Gonzalez. The body of Brookelynn Fancher was found inside a motel dresser drawer back in May 2024, Gonzalez posted on Facebook. On May, 26, 2024, Harris County sheriff's deputies responded to a child death at a motel in the 7100 block of Rancho Mission Drive in Houston, Gonzalez stated in the post. "The parents were reportedly living at the location for over a year," Gonzalez stated. The infant was found unresponsive and pronounced deceased, the sheriff stated. "The infant reportedly slept inside a dresser drawer and that's where she was found," Gonzalez stated. "Murder charges were accepted on both the father and mother of the infant." Jeremy Fancher was taken into custody and booked into the Tom Green County Jail for murder on June 21, online jail records show. Sgt. John Bouligny with the San Angelo Police Department said the local police don't have details on the murder charge. "We don't have details on the charge since it was a warrant arrest. We were assisting the other agencies," Bouligny said. On Facebook, Gonzalez thanked those who worked on the case in the Harris County Sheriff's Office and at other agencies, including San Angelo police and the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office. "Thanks to them we are closer to securing justice for baby Brookelynn," Gonzalez said. Ravens Icon Justin Tucker's Agent Speaks Out On Major NFL Announcement

Ravens Icon Justin Tucker's Agent Speaks Out On Major NFL Announcement originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Baltimore Ravens finally made the decision, as kicker Justin Tucker was accused of sexual misconduct by several Baltimore-area massage therapists, to release the iconic All-Pro. Advertisement Now, the NFL has announced Tucker's punishment - and Tucker's side isn't very happy about it. Tucker, 35, is suspended without pay for the first 10 weeks of the 2025 season for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy. In response, the following statement has been released by Tucker's representative Rob Roche ... "We are disappointed with the NFL's decision. Justin has always strived to carry himself in a way that would make his family and community proud. He stands by his previous statements. In order to put this difficult episode behind him and get back on the field as soon as possible, we have advised Justin to accept this resolution and close this matter. Advertisement "The people who know Justin best know his character and understand that while he remains fully committed to excellence as a football player, he is deeply dedicated to his most important lifetime roles as a father, husband, and friend.' In the league's press release, the suspension will take effect on roster cut day, August 26 and he will be eligible for reinstatement on November 11. Tucker is currently still a free agent. If he were to be signed by a team, he is able to serve his suspension under contract. He is able to communicate and try out for a club, and if he is signed, is able to attend training camp this offseason. Advertisement Six massage therapists have come forward, accusing Tucker of inappropriate behavior during sessions that took place between 2012 and 2016. The allegations include claims that Tucker exposed himself, made inappropriate contact, and left bodily fluids on massage tables. After the investigation had gotten underway, Tucker released a statement to address the allegations. "The allegations against me in The Baltimore Banner article about me are unequivocally false. Throughout my career as a professional athlete, I have always sought to conduct myself with the utmost professionalism," said Tucker. "I have never before been accused of misconduct of any kind, and I have never been accused of acting inappropriately in front of a massage therapist or during a massage therapy session or during other bodywork. I have never received any complaints from a massage therapist, have never been dismissed from a massage therapy or bodywork session, and have never been told that I was not welcome at any spa or other place of business." Advertisement Tucker - maybe the best kicker of his generation - is coming off the worst year of his career. He made a disastrous 73.3 percent of his field goal attempts (especially compared to his all-time best career average of 89.1 percent). He also missed more field goals between 40 and 49 yards than he had in any other season. With the 10th pick of the sixth round of the NFL Draft, the Ravens took Arizona kicker Tyler Loop, who has the inside track to be Tucker's replacement this season. Accusers Applaud NFL's Investigation of Justin Tucker

Accusers Applaud NFL's Investigation of Justin Tucker originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Former Baltimore Ravens and Texas Longhorns kicker Justin Tucker accepted a 10-game suspension rather than attempt to defend himself in a hearing. Advertisement And that seemingly might've been the best course of action for him. The NFL concluded its investigation of the sexual misconduct accusations from 16 women by Tucker between 2012-16, and the evidence might've been overwhelming. We'll never know. What we do know is that it warranted a 10-game suspension that Tucker didn't even blink over. Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reported that attorneys Michael Belsky and Catherine Dickinson praised the NFL's investigation as a whole, saying it was "incredibly thorough and thoughtful" in their press conference on Friday. The NFL reportedly interviewed 15 of the 16 accusers. Advertisement 'There was an opening here for an early discussion between Mr. Tucker and the victims and the NFL,' Belsky said. 'There was a way that this could have happened and gone down in a way that was different than how it did. Unfortunately, Mr. Tucker dug in with his denials, and we are where we are today.' NBC Sports reported that "The NFL's 'decision' wasn't to suspend Tucker 10 games. It was to propose (presumably) a longer suspension if the process played out and to offer Tucker a 10-game suspension. It was Tucker's 'decision' to accept the 10-game suspension." It was by recommendation by Tucker's attorney, Rob Roche, that he accepted the punishment. 'In order to put this difficult episode behind him and get back on the field as soon as possible, we have advised Justin to accept this resolution and close this matter,' Roche said. 'The people who know Justin best know his character and understand that while he remains fully committed to excellence as a football player, he is deeply dedicated to his most important lifetime roles as a father, husband, and friend.'
