Gruesome moment bullfighter is sent flying by furious beast as howling mob looks on
Spectator videos showed Roberto Pozos challenging a bull at a festival on July 22 in Xico, a city in Veracruz.
As the crowd cheered, Pozos is seen kneeling to the ground as he faced off with a honey-colored bull.
Suddenly, a black bull charged in from the other side of Pozos, sending him flying into the air as the crowd screamed.
A second clip showed the man being throw into the other bull and getting gored in the head.
Pozos can be seen writhing on the ground and covering his head as bystanders rushed in to try to distract the beasts.
He then got to his feet and scurried away with his shirt soaked in blood.
Pozos was airlifted to a medical center in Xalapa, the capital of Veracruz, to undergo reconstructive facial surgery.

'Hello friends, how are you?' a smiling Pozos said in a video taken from his hospital bed the day after the frightening encounter.
'I'm sending you a big hug from the city of Xalapa.
'I'm feeling very well, thank God.
'It wasn't anything major, though.
'Everything went well with the operation. It's okay.'
The incident occurred months after a matador was viciously gored by a bull at bullring in the state of Tlaxcala on March 1.
The bull tore through Emilio Macías' left buttock and struck his femur.
It also pierced the rectum, colon and right hip.
He managed to get to his feet and run away with his shirt soaked in blood.
Macías was taken to a hospital in Puebla, where he underwent an operation that lasted almost nine hours.
Bullfighting is regulated by state laws in Mexico.
The states of Coahuila, Guerrero, Sinaloa, Sonora and Quintana Roo prohibit the practice.
In late March, lawmakers in Mexico City government reformed their bullfighting laws to ban the injuring and killing of bulls.

American man bitten by shark as he dangled leg from boat in Bahamas
An American man was injured during a shark attack in the Bahamas, according to local police. According to the Royal Bahamas Police Force, the attack occurred near Manjack Cay in the Abacos Islands in the northern Bahamas. The region is known locally as Nunjack Cay, according to USA TODAY. The man was reportedly boating with his friends "with his leg hanging in the water" when the shark bit him, a police report states. The attack occurred just after 2pm on Monday. The victim was transported to a local clinic where he was treated for his injuries and was later released. Police did not release the man's name or age in their report. It was also not specific as to what kind of shark attacked the man. Another man trying to enjoy the beach had his own shark encounter over the Fourth of July weekend. A 21-year-old man was fishing off a Nantucket beach when he caught a shark on his line, according to the Nantucket Current. He reeled the animal onto shore and tried to return it to the ocean, but the shark thrashed and bit him on his leg, causing him a serious injury. The victim's friends drove him to a local hospital, where he was later flown by helicopter to a hospital on the mainland to further treatment. On the same day, a 40-year-old surfer in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, received a 10-inch bite from a shark that left him seriously injured. He ultimately survived the attack, Fox News reports. New Smyrna Beach is known as the "shark bite capital" of the U.S. due to the high number of shark encounters in the area. Shark attacks, while frightening, are still very rare events. According to the International Shark Attack File, 47 people were bitten in unprovoked shark attacks last year, and four people were killed, including one American. According to the ISAF, there are, on average, approximately 65 reported shark attacks every year. On average, there are six fatal attacks every year.

Three people injured following collision in Co Kerry
Three people have been injured following a two-vehicle collision in Killarney, Co. Kerry, on Thursday morning. The incident happened on the N22 Killarney to Tralee road at Coolcorcoran shortly after 9.30 am. Advertisement A passenger in one of the vehicles, a woman in her 60s, was conveyed by air ambulance to Cork University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The drivers of both vehicles, a man in his 80s and a woman in her 60s, were brought to University Hospital Kerry for treatment of injuries not believed to be life-threatening at this time. The road remains closed at this time pending a technical examination. Local traffic diversions are in place; however, these diversions are not suitable for heavy vehicles and drivers are advised to use alternative national routes. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to this incident to come forward. Any road users who may have dash-cam and were travelling in the area between 9:00am and 9:45am are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
