Ireland's Alex Dunne earns provisional second place finish in Silverstone F2 Feature Race
The event was won by Jak Crawford, who is currently second in the overall Formula 2 Drivers' Championship standings, one place above Dunne.

A tense climax saw Dunne reduce Crawford's lead to half a second, and the Irishman even briefly led while his rival made a mandatory pit stop, but the American ultimately narrowly prevailed, and Britain's Luke Browning completed the top three.
Dutch driver Richard Verschoor, who leads the overall standings, finished seventh today.
It was an improvement for the Offaly native, who was forced to retire from the Silverstone Sprint Race on Saturday.
Today's action continued an eventful few weeks for the Rodin Motorsport driver.
Last week, Dunne impressed on his Formula 1 debut, standing in for McLaren's Lando Norris during practice at the Austrian Grand Prix and finishing fourth.
The 19-year-old described becoming the first Irishman in 22 years to achieve this feat as 'the best day of my life'.

Justin Rose held off JJ Spaun after a dramatic three hole playoff to claim the FedEx St. Jude Championship in Tennessee, as Tommy Fleetwood faltered on the final day. The two players finished deadlocked on 16-under par, with Fleetwood, ruing a costly bogey on 17, and Scottie Scheffler, a shot further back. US Open champion Spaun shot one of the low rounds of the day of 65 to force his way into the playoff. A bogey on five was the only blemish as the American carded six birdies, including going back-to-back on 16 and 17. The now 45-year-old Rose got off to a slow start, making the turn at one-over-par for his round, but four birdies on the spin from holes 14 to 17 helped him surge up the leaderboard. However, the 2018 FedEx Cup champion saw a winning putt on the final green slide by. The first playoff hole would be a nail-biting replay of the 18th hole starting with Rose coming within inches of driving into the water. The experienced Ryder Cup star kept his balance to give himself a much more favourable birdie putt, but with the honour, Spaun lipped out from distance as he looked to relive his Oakmont finale. Rose, with the same putt he had in regulation, skimmed past the right hand edge yet again and the pair would head back to the tee. Again, Rose would land his approach shot inside the effort of Spaun, but more drama would follow. Spaun jarred a long-range birdie putt from accross the green to pile the pressure onto his opponent, but the experienced English golfer would follow suit and keep his hopes of a first tour win since Febraury 2023 alive. The third and final playoff hole would go the way of Justin Rose as he made a birdie three to Spaun's par four, despite a more precise approach shot from the American. The 2013 US Open champion holed a nerveless downhill left-to-right breaking putt to register his sixth birdie over the last eight holes of the tournament, piling the pressure on Spaun, who missed the follow-up to hand victory to the Englishman. Playing the weekend at a combined two-under-par, it was another agonising defeat for the affable English golfer who's long wait for a first ever win on US soil continues. Leaderboard Scheffler missed out on the playoff by a shot, finishing on 15-under, after a round of 67. The Texan carded five birdies and two bogeys to shoot a fourth consecutive round in the 60s. The World No. 1 remains in the lead in the season-long FedEx Cup race with two events to go. Shane Lowry shot a final round of 71 to finish in a tie for 59th place at three-over-par. The Offaly man bogeyed three of the last four holes for a frustrating finish that sees him slide outside the top 20 in FedEx Cup standings heading into the BMW Championship at Caves Valley next week, where Rory McIlroy will make his first start since The Open Championship last month.
