They have worked together on a number of shows including, most prominently, We Will Dance Again, the October 7 documentary about the tragedy at the Nova Music Festival. The 2024 co-production between Sipur and factual producer Bitachon 365, in collaboration with MGM Television, appeared on Paramount+ in the U.S., BBC Storyville in the UK, RTL Germany and Israel's HOT 8.
Mozer also directed the documentary Ben-Gurion, Epilogue (2017) and garnered critical acclaim for The Devil's Confession: The Lost Eichmann Tapes (2022), which Sipur co-produced with KAN11 and MGM Television. Like We Will Dance Again, both films received Israeli Academy Awards.
Sipur boss Emilio Schenker said the move 'cements a longstanding partnership' between Sipur and Mozer.

We Will Dance Again won the recent Emmy for Best Current Affairs Documentary and Schenker dedicated the award to the late Sipur President Michael Peter Schmidt. Schenker recently spoke to us about Sipur's international plans and detailed projects the Bad Boys studio has boarded including Hagai Levi series Etty.
Mozer, whose deal with Sipur was negotiated by his agent, Niv Eshet Cohen, is a board member of the Israeli Academy of Film and Television and a graduate of Tel Aviv University, where he now teaches.Best of Deadline

How Wednesday Season 2 Initially Thought About Bringing Back Gwendoline Christie After Jenna Ortega Admitted The Show Made A ‘Terrible Mistake'

While she already blew me away with her work in Game of Thrones, Christie crushes her role as Principal Weems. The character exudes a classy charm and sense of complexity that conveys Christie's wide range of skills as an actor. Despite Weems' death, the character is now set to return for Season 2, and Jenna Ortega just recalled one way she and the writers initially thought about reviving the character. Jenna Ortega has never shied away from discussing the creative choices made for Wednesday. In fact, she made headlines when she got real about some aspects of the show making 'no sense' to her. (Ortega had long wanted to up the horror elements and dial down the romance.) Just recently, the Emmy nominee admitted during an interview with AIChark (which was shared to TikTok) that the show made a 'terrible mistake' by killing off Principal Weems. With that, Ortega revealed she formulated an idea to bring Weems back, and it involved shapeshifting: We had had discussions at the end of Season 1 about – we already knew that we were gonna kill her. So we were saying, 'Oh man, well, this has been a terrible mistake on our part. How are we gonna undo this? Is there a way we could bring her back?' I would say, 'Well, she's a shapeshifter. Maybe she isn't dead. Maybe all the shapeshifters, their natural form is [Weems]. Maybe if they all reverted back to their initial state…' That's what I wanted. We were throwing out all these ideas, and then the writers came up with her being my spirit guide. I feel like the writers made the right call in going with the spirit guide character plot, which was just recently revealed. I think having all shapeshifters appear as Weems in 'their natural form' would be too complicated. Having Christie's character return as a spirit guide for Wednesday Addams is perfect since the Nevermore Head of Staff tried to help the show's titular character during her time at the Academy. Weems even tried tried to help the teen in the end, the notion of having her return in this form certainly tracks. If Wednesday Season 2 -- which is part of 2025 Netflix's 2025 releases -- were like the more traditional Addams Family movies and TV shows Principal Weems might not be reappearing. Those past productions featured death in relatively definitive ways, so Weems' poisoning would've been the end. The concepts that have been explored in the Jenna Ortega-led spinoff series, however, allow for Weems to come back into the fold. And Ortega is thrilled about that: We just were so lucky to be playing in a supernatural world where we could bend the rules a little bit and find a way to bring her back. Because she brought so much to the show and established so much of what she — [she] just made that atmosphere feel real. It's one of my favorite on-screen pairings I've ever had, so to be able to elaborate on that and go deeper and further was a great pleasure. I jumped for joy seeing Wednesday's Season 2, Part 2 trailer, which revealed Weems' return. She and Addams have an interesting dynamic and, while they don't always see eye to eye, it works. There's also a sense of mutual respect between the two. With the supernatural series being split into two parts, this next set of episodes may place great emphasis on the relationship between Ortega's character and her new spirit guide. As a fan, I'm so glad Weems is not only returning but doing so in a fun-looking capacity. Considering how happy Gwendoline Christie was when Wednesday was renewed, it wouldn't surprise me at all if she's thrilled she gets to continue playing her imposing character. It was Christie's stunning turn (complete with Alfred Hitchcock influences) that made her such a standout in the first season. Ben Stiller just delivered a 'Severance' season 3 update bombshell
The tension is palpable as we wait for "Severance" season 3. We've had executive producer and director Ben Stiller announce that "Severance" season 3 is coming "as fast as possible." We've had an Apple TV executive come out and say that season 3 hasn't begun production. Then, just last week, show star Adam Scott revealed that whenever the show does begin production, it could take six weeks just to film a single episode and half a year to film a full season. But this latest update is a real bombshell. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Stiller revealed that he won't be directing episodes for season 3. Instead, he'll be helming a feature-length film about the true story of a downed airman in occupied France during World War II and the airman's subsequent involvement in the French Resistance. That's on top of his plans to make a movie adapting Rachel Maddow's podcast "Bag Man" about disgraced Nixon-era U.S. Vice President Spiro Agnew, and existing projects "Focker-in-Law" and "Stiller & Meara: Nothing Is Lost." 7 day free trial! I feel like season 3 is going to be the best yet as we continue to evolve. That's a massive development for "Severance" season 3, and frankly, the Apple TV Plus sci-fi series as a whole. Stiller has been a prolific director on the Emmy-nominated show, directing six episodes in "Severance" season 1 and five episodes in "Severance" season 2. In each season, he's directed both the season premiere and the finale, meaning his directorial stamp on the show is a defining one. He's been nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series each season, and could still win for season 2's finale, "Cold Harbor." Stiller has since taken to X (Twitter) to clarify the news that he'd be absent from the director's chair next season. "It's been full-time the last 8 months working on season 3," he replied in response to a tweet from fan account Severance Updates. "And I'm not going anywhere. We have incredible directors and a team that creates the show. I love directing it and look forward to at some point again for sure. I feel like season 3 is going to be the best yet as we continue to evolve." To be fair, some of the show's most acclaimed episodes weren't directed by Stiller. Jessica Lee Gagné just earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series for season 2, episode 7, "Chikhai Bardo," meaning she could even beat Stiller for the award later this year. But it's tough to imagine a world where replacing the director of 11 of the show's 19 episodes is easy, let alone producing a similar product. Even if season 3 is as good (or better!) than season 2 without Stiller directing, I would bet money on the show not feeling the same. The devil is in the details. Emmy-winning costume designer Molly Rogers isn't thrilled with 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' set photos making the rounds. 'You know, people are just gonna get burned out with all the paparazzi shots,' Rogers exclusively told The Post. The original 'The Devil Wears Prada' had costume designer Patricia Field, but Rogers, who has worked on 'Sex and the City' and the spinoff 'And Just Like That,' also worked on that film. Rogers has long been known as Field's protegee.
