iCents eyes growth on rising cleanroom demand

KUALA LUMPUR: ACE Market-bound iCents Group Holdings Bhd expects its expansion plans to contribute positively to its financial performance in the coming years, provided there are no unforeseen disruptions.
The cleanroom and facility services provider is confident that the proceeds from its IPO will enable it to carry out its business strategies and plans as outlined in its prospectus.
In the third quarter ended March 31, iCents posted a net profit of RM1.8mil, or earnings per share of 0.37 sen, bringing its nine-month net profit to RM6.9mil, or 1.38 sen.
Quarterly revenue came in at RM18.8mil, bringing nine-month revenue to RM62.8mil.
On prospects, iCents said growth in Malaysia's electrical and electronics and pharmaceutical industries is expected to drive demand for cleanroom facilities, creating opportunities for industry players.
iCents is slated for listing on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia on July 17.

In the second quarter ended June 30 (2Q25), Master Tec posted a net profit of RM6.9mil, down 20.5%, or earnings per share of 0.68 sen, bringing its first-half net profit to RM11.4mil, or 1.12 sen. It recorded a record quarterly revenue of RM104.82mil in 2Q25, a 43.9% increase from RM72.85mil in the same quarter last year, lifting its first-half revenue to RM175.06mil. The group declared a first interim single-tier dividend of 0.69 sen per share for FY25, amounting to approximately RM7.04mil, rewarding shareholders for their continued support. 'We are pleased to report our highest-ever quarterly revenue in 2Q25, which reflects the growing strength of our manufacturing and trading operations, as well as the positive contributions from our infrastructure services business via Sediacom. 'This solid performance affirms the success of our strategic focus on diversified revenue streams and capacity expansion. As we continue to scale, our focus remains on operational efficiency, product quality, and strengthening our market reach,' chief executive officer Tee Kok Hwa said in a statement. Looking ahead, Master Tec remains optimistic about its prospects, supported by growing infrastructure investments under the 13th Malaysia Plan and the National Energy Transition Roadmap.

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 7 — Pharmaniaga Bhd has completed its Practice Note 17 (PN17) regularisation plan following the completion of its capital reduction exercise through the cancellation of RM520 million in issued share capital. In a statement yesterday, the pharmaceutical company said the step firmly sets the group on course to exit the PN17 status latest by the first quarter (1Q) of 2026. 'The capital reduction exercise, which involved the cancellation of RM520 million in issued share capital, was completed after confirmation was received today from the Registrar of Companies that all statutory requirements have been fulfilled. 'Following the completion of this exercise, the issued share capital of the group is RM249.62 million, comprising 6.55 billion shares,' it said. Pharmaniaga fell into PN17 status in February 2023, dragged by its RM552.3 million provision for 'slow-moving inventories' of Covid-19 vaccines. At the close of trading yesterday, the counter finished unchanged at 18.5 sen, with 28.69 million shares changing hands. — Bernama
