Boss Shannon leaves Flint Mountain after three great seasons
A statement on the club website read: "Aden and Jonny joined the club in the summer of 2022, following our promotion to the Ardal North West League.
"In their debut season, they guided the team to a commendable fourth-place finish. "Their second season was marked by remarkable success, with the club finishing as league champions and securing promotion to the JD Cymru North for the first time in our history.
"That same season also saw triumph in the NEWFA Challenge Cup, a runners-up finish in the Ardal Northern Cup, and an impressive run to the quarter-finals of the JD Welsh Cup.
"In our debut Cymru North campaign last season, the team achieved a strong seventh-place finish, securing Tier 2 football for the coming season.
"Flint Mountain Football Club extends its sincere gratitude to Aden and Jonny for their dedication, professionalism, and contribution to the club's continued progression. We wish them both every success in their future endeavours.
"Further announcements regarding the first team managerial position will follow in due course."

Wrexham AFC legend Arfon reflects on last spell in tier two
Wrexham headed into the old Second Division on a high in 1978 after a title-winning campaign that also saw them lift the Welsh Cup and reach the quarter-finals of both the FA Cup and League Cup. 'They were great days,' said Griffiths, who became an icon at his home-town club where he made 721 appearances and scored 143 goals before going on to manage the Reds in their golden era. 'But the old second division was a big step up and I remember the first game at home. 'Brighton came to The Racecourse and had the ex-England international, Alan Mullery, in charge. 'They were very defensive and we never looked like scoring. 'We'd scored goals for fun in the two seasons before and it was important that we continued to play positively because Wrexham always had that identity of playing attractive football.' Griffiths' side were unbeaten in their first six but their first three home games - against Brighton, Leicester City and Newcastle United - all ended goal-less. They also enjoyed three early trips to the capital. The late John Lyons scored Wrexham's first goal in a 1-0 win at Fulham, Graham Whittle grabbed the only goal at Leyton Orient and Mickey Thomas netted in a 1-1 draw at Charlton Athletic. It was one of six goals in 16 games for Thomas so it came as no surprise Manchester United made the Welsh star Wrexham's £350,000 record signing. Griffiths said: 'There were a lot of clubs looking at Mickey and when he heard that Manchester United was one of them he came knocking on my door and said: 'I want to go'. 'I told him he couldn't until we got the best deal and we got £350,000 in the end.' After those two August away day wins, Wrexham didn't win again on their travels and their home form wasn't breathtaking either as they escaped relegation by just four points after finishing in 15th place. 'Teams did fear us because of the way we played but they wanted to shut up shop when they came to The Racecourse,' added Griffiths. The home crowds were also on a downward curve. There were 23,451 crammed in to watch captain Gareth Davies lift the Division Three trophy at home to Peterborough on May 1 1978. The opening day attendance at home to Brighton just 10 week later was 14,081 while 6,136 saw Wrexham sign off a disappointing season with a 1-0 home defeat to Bristol Rovers. It was a 16th place finish in the 1979/80 season where Wrexham again finished on 38 points, nine ahead of the relegation zone. Griffiths resigned at the end of the 1980/81 season and with his right man Mel Sutton now in charge, Wrexham were relegated the following season. 'I hope Wrexham can now stabilise in the Championship this time around,' said Griffiths, who described Steve Fox as one of his best signings during the tier two era. 'With the three promotions behind them, the players know what it takes to go up. 'The owners have done a great job, ploughing in a lot of money but it's vital that they get a new training ground.' The late great Joey Jones and now club president Dixie McNeil were just two of six players to chalk up a century-plus games in the famous red shirt in Division Two - Steve Fox (130), Dai Davies (114), Mel Sutton (106) and Gareth Davies (103) were the others. Dozens of hot air balloons take to the skies above Bristol
Dozens of hot air balloons of all shapes and sizes have filled the skies above Bristol for the city's annual fiesta. Around 90 balloons took part in a mass ascent at Ashton Court Estate, where the popular event takes place, on Friday morning. Hundreds of fans were up early to watch the opening ceremony of the free-to-attend Bristol International Balloon Fiesta just after 6am, with balloon burners lighting up to mark the start of the event. One balloon then took to the sky with a union flag, followed by dozens of other brightly coloured balloons which flew over Bristol towards Bath, Somerset. Commercial balloon pilot Tom Hilditch, 35, from Brighton, was among the pilots to fly in the mass ascent and praised the 'idyllic conditions'. He said: 'It was great to fly with all the other balloons. 'There were idyllic weather conditions, with nice slow winds. 'The winds were a little too variable when trying to find a landing spot but otherwise it was a perfect morning.' Mr Hilditch, who has had his pilot's licence for 13 years, is planning to cycle around England towing a hopper balloon – which does not have a basket – to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust next year. This year's fiesta, running from Friday to Sunday, will celebrate Bristol and its heritage links to the world of hot air ballooning. The activity has been part of Bristol's culture for many years, with the first recorded flight in the city dating back to the 18th century. During the fiesta, balloons are scheduled to take off early morning and evening – though this is weather permitting. Special shape balloons will be present at the event, including the Up balloon, Thomas the Tank Engine, Sonic the Hedgehog, Astro the Alien, Rupert the Bear and Oggy the Friendly Dragon – which comes from America. There is also a Wallace & Gromit Moon Rocket balloon, Buster and Bella the Bulldogs, Slither the Snake, Snow White, an Ordnance Survey Map and BBC Globe. In the evenings, night-glows – where dozens of tethered balloons light up in sync to a special musical soundtrack – will take place.
