Meghan shares emotional Father's Day tribute to Harry with never-before-seen footage showing Duke doting and playing with their children Archie and Lilibet
Meghan Markle has shared an emotional Happy Father's Day post featuring never-before-seen footage of a doting Prince Harry playing with their two children.
In another example of the privacy-loving Sussexes recently sharing more insights into their home life, Meghan has posted a lengthy video featuring photos and clips of Archie, six, and Lilibet, four, with their father through the years.
The Duchess of Sussex described the father of her children as 'the best', adding: 'Happy Father's Day to our favorite guy.'
She shared a heartwarming snap showing a Happy Father's Day banner hanging from their garden in Montecito, California, where Harry could be seen clutching his two children tightly on his lap.
In a series of clips, with Jason Mraz's Have it All playing in the background, the duke is also seen cuddling his children when they were newborns and playing with them on the beach, in a waterfall and on a swing.
The duke is also filmed teaching Archie how to ride a bike as the Sussexes gave an unprecedented glimpse into their lives since leaving Britain for California when they stepped down as working royals in 2020.
Meghan shared the snap with her 3.8million followers on Sunday, at which time she had not posted any tribute to her own father Thomas Markle, 80, whom she has been estranged from for a number of years.
While just months ago, the couple had rarely shared a glimpse of their two children online, Meghan has increasingly uploaded photos of the pair to her Instagram account in recent weeks.
Further videos from Meghan's Father's day post shows doting father Harry dancing with his son in their kitchen and playing around with on the grass.
In other clips Archie is also seen kicking a ball around with his dad and laughing together as Harry reads him a bedtime story.
Another heartwarming picture shows Harry cuddling with his daughter Lilibet as they sit on a beach looking out at the ocean and cradling her in his arms while sitting on a plane.
Clips of the father-daughter duo also show Lilibet's apparent fondness for animals as she is seen feeding a carrot to a horse in a huge timber stable and getting friendly with a heard of goats in an outdoor pen.
The post also offers a unique glimpse into what appears to be a number of family trips abroad, with clips showing Archie and Lilibet surrounded by glorious ocean views and palm tree covered landscapes.
One snippet shows the brother and sister racing along a white sandy beach in front of a huge rocky mountain, as Harry and Meghan slowly walk behind them.
Another also shows them splashing around in the sea together in front picturesque clear blue skies.
While just a few months ago, a picture of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's adorable children was deemed a rarity, the pair have been increasingly sharing more and more insights into their home life.
The reveals have been firmly marked by an increased social media presence from Meghan, who has made several posts in the last few months.
Many offer followers a glance at their life in Montecito, including never before seen snaps of Archie, six, and Lilibet, four. Some posts even include footage where you can hear their voices, in sweet home videos.
Several of the posts Meghan shared on Instagram featuring glimpses of the children were in the run-up to the release of With Love, Meghan.
One video Meghan shared featuring Lilibet (alongside Serena Williams) was tagged with the caption: '3 days until the party begins. All are invited @Netflix.'
Archie and Lilibet were also featured briefly in a short clip played when Meghan appeared on the Drew Barrymore show at the beginning of March.
During the episode, the Duchess revealed she had enlisted her children to help in the kitchen as she baked hundreds of cookies for guests attending the Drew Barrymore Show.
Then just last week, Meghan uploaded a series of snaps memorable family trip to Disneyland to celebrate Lilibet's fourth birthday, in which she hide both of their faces with heart emojis.
Earlier on Sunday, Kensington Palace also shared pictures of Harry's brother Prince William enjoying a warm embrace with his three children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, seven
In one of the pictures, shared on Instagram, the royal's children - all sporting cosy dusky green ensembles beam as they face the camera; and William's hands are affectionately on his kids' shoulders.
And in a second more candid black and white snap, the youngsters all tackle their father with hugs, laughing as they play around in some grass together.
'Happy Father's Day, Papa,' the caption read, highlighting that the more posed picture with the family smiling for the camera is the 'before', while the more candid black and white shot of them giggling together is the 'after'. 'We love you! G, C & L.'
Both of the images were captured by one of the family's trusted professional photographers, Josh Shinner.
The sweet post proves to be yet another break from tradition for Prince William's wife Kate, who has over the years put herself behind the lens to capture family moments.
But earlier this year, for her son Prince Louis's birthday, Josh too was the cameraman behind the seven-year-old's portrait.
The photo of Louis appears to have been taken on the same day as the adorable family photo unveiled today, while the Waleses were in Norfolk.
'Happy Father's Day, Papa,' the caption read
It comes as on Saturday, the family was out to celebrate Trooping the Colour.
On Saturday the country came together to mark King Charles' official birthday amid a spectacular display of military pomp and pageantry before the Royal Family waved to crowds from the balcony of Buckingham Palace as part of an annual tradition.
This year, Charles, 76, and Queen Camilla, 77, were joined by the Waleses as well as Princess Anne and her husband, Vice-admiral Sir Timothy Laurence.
Also in attendance were the Duke of Kent and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh in a display of solidarity that rounded out the festivities

EXCLUSIVE Explosive feud between Cher and her son's wife... as heartbreaking reason for his overdose is revealed
Cher is embroiled in an explosive feud with her son Elijah Blue Allman's estranged wife - and, following his reported relapse and hospitalization, tensions have only escalated. Insiders have laid bare the politics behind the drama, which they claim is tearing the family apart. Allman is currently divorcing his wife, Marieangela 'Queenie' King, who has supported him throughout multiple legal battles. The pop icon is already blaming 'Marieangela like she always does when things go wrong', an inside source, who accused Cher of never taking 'responsibility', told the Daily Mail. Allman, 48, the son of Cher, 79, and her second husband, the late guitarist Gregg Allman, has struggled with addiction for many years. Cher is also mother to trans son Chaz Bono, 56, from her first marriage to Sonny Bono. His reported overdose and hospitalization comes only a month after the musician appeared to hit rock bottom. In exclusive footage obtained by the Daily Mail, a zombie-like Allman was seen staggering outside the star-studded Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. 'His overdose was ignited by the pain of Father's Day because he loved his dad more than anything on earth and he was the only person who he felt he could trust,' the insider told the Daily Mail. A source told TMZ that the performer's youngest child 'was rushed to the hospital in Joshua Tree, California, after overdosing earlier Saturday morning'. It remained unknown what drugs were involved but that he was 'receiving the best care possible'. Allman has returned to living at the famed Chateau Marmont, where he was found passed out in 2023 - a moment that prompted Cher to step in. He had previously been locked in a court battle with his mother after she tried, and failed, to secure a conservatorship. This is just the latest development in a years-long bitter feud between Cher and King. It reportedly began when King and Allman became engaged in December 2013. At the time, Cher, the Believe hitmaker, allegedly refused to congratulate the couple. According to a source: 'Elijah and Cher ended up in a legal battle when she tried to get a conservatorship over him in court, claiming he wasn't capable of making his own decisions. 'From the beginning, she had major issues with Marieangela and did everything she could to come between them, even secretly sending Elijah to a facility in Mexico without telling anyone. 'He was in terrible shape, and it was Marieangela who had to fly down to save him.' Speaking to the Daily Mail in February 2014, Allman said of the dynamic: 'You've got two strong women, two big bulls in the pen. I think there's a respect and I think they butt heads a little bit.' Cher is 'already blaming Elijah's wife, Marieangela [King], like she always does when things go wrong', said a source who accused the pop icon of never taking 'responsibility' Ever since the Mexico incident, Cher and Marieangela's issues have frequently come to a head, with the insider confirming that 'their relationship only got more strained after that'. Marieangela, 37, opposed the conservatorship, and stood by her husband's side during the ensuing messy public dispute. The couple have long had a tumultuous relationship. King filed for divorce from Allman on April 7, citing 'irreconcilable differences', and seeking $6,000 a month in spousal support and 'exclusive use of [their] 2017 Toyota Prius', according to court documents previously seen by the Daily Mail. Cher and her troubled son have been embroiled in their own legal battle, with 'long-standing tension over Elijah's inheritance and how much control Cher has tried to keep over his finances', the insider said. She had argued in her petition to the court that Elijah's drug addiction made him unable to manage his trust fund. The Oscar winner filed for a temporary sole conservatorship over his finances in 2023, arguing that he suffered from 'severe mental health and substance abuse issues', but ultimately withdrew the petition in September 2024. 'Elijah was doing better for a while, trying to get clean and take back his independence but he became more isolated over time,' our source said. In a 2014 interview, Allman revealed he began using drugs, like marijuana and ecstasy, at the age of 11, and said he'd been near to overdosing several times. 'I [was] just looking to escape all the things in my past and, that's when you turn to those kind of drugs, you know heroin and opiates,' he told ET. '[Heroin] kind of saved me… If I didn't have that at that point, I don't know what I would have done… You may jump off a bridge. If you can only just go through that time period and live through it and then get help.' Allman also revealed that he had 'some close calls and some moments of really feeling at the edge of mortality'. Now, it appears that he is struggling again. 'The people who truly cared, especially Marieangela, were pushed out,' the insider said, 'and when things got bad again, he had no one left to turn to.' The Daily Mail reached out to a representative for Cher but has received no response.

Kourtney Kardashian sparks fury over 'messed up' detail in Father's Day post: 'Kids will see this'
Kourtney Kardashian Barker shares three of her four children - son Mason, 15; daughter Penelope, 12; and son Reign, 10 - with babydaddy Scott Disick, but she failed to pay tribute to him on Father's Day. The 45-year-old reality star famously ended her on/off nine-year relationship with the 42-year-old Talentless CEO in 2015 shortly after he publicly canoodled with stylist Chloé Bartoli. But Instagram users like @hilarythegoaldigger felt Kourtney's obvious snub was cold, commenting: 'I love how she acts like Scott was never a huge part of her life.' Instagram user @its_suzzieq commented on Kardashian's slideshow with a meme of the preppy 'Lord' Disick looking shocked. 'The fact that Scott wasn't mentioned is messed up,' Instagram user @aliciamarie0627 wrote. 'I'm sorry.' Instagram user @navsoroya agreed: 'What about Scott?' 'Your kids are going to see this and feel some type of way,' Instagram user @kimica12 commented. While Instagram user @truthhurts2498 felt The Kardashians producer-star 'owes no public shoutout to Scott' because 'he never acknowledged her publicly for Mother's Day!' 'Scott isn't her husband,' Instagram user @thejasbrad blasted. 'This post is dedicated to her husband and him as dad. A text is appropriate.' On May 26, an insider told The Daily Mail that the real estate house flipper thought Kourtney 'has changed' and was 'irresponsible' over wanting to homeschool their children rather than enroll them at the family's 'dated' alma mater, Sierra Canyon School. 'Scott values hard work and sees school as essential and would never allow his kids to not attend,' a source claimed. 'If they are always at home around Kourtney they will miss out on substantial knowledge and teachings that Scott feels every kid should experience.' Disick - who dropped out of Ross School in New York - also reportedly feels like Kardashian's house with husband Travis Barker 'can be chaotic' and he 'is especially uneasy with the influence of his 18-year-old daughter Alabama.' Ironically, the Lemme co-founder is one of the few college graduates in her family as she holds a bachelor's degree in theatre arts from the University of Arizona. On Sunday, the five-time rehabbed star Instastoried a revolting video of an old man bragging about his wife having 'no gag reflex' which he captioned: 'Happy Father's Day boys!' 'The fact that Scott wasn't mentioned is messed up,' Instagram user @aliciamarie0627 wrote. 'I'm sorry' 'Scott isn't her husband,' Instagram user @thejasbrad blasted. 'This post is dedicated to her husband and him as dad. A text is appropriate' Meanwhile, Kourtney Instastoried two snaps of her late father Robert Kardashian - who died, at age 59, in 2003 from esophageal cancer - captioned: 'God blessed us with the absolute best dad' Kardashian then posted a PJ-clad snap of herself with the 48-year-old Grammy-nominated drummer and their 19-month-old son Rocky Thirteen that she captioned: 'Which led me to you @travisbarker.' 'Happy Father's Day to the man who loves with his whole heart — for our baby, for my three, for his three… for our seven,' the Poosh founder - who boasts 283.4M social media followers - captioned her Instagram slideshow. 'This wild, beautiful blended life wouldn't be the same without you.' Kourtney made sure to include snaps of Travis' three older children - son Landon, 21; daughter Alabama, 18; and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 26 - from his three-year marriage to Miss USA 1995 Shanna Moakler, which ended in 2008. The only family member who honored all of the father figures in the Kardashian-Jenner clan - including Scott, Kanye 'Ye' West, and Tristan Thompson - was matriarch Kris Jenner. 'You have shaped, supported, and loved us in so many ways and I'm grateful to have witnessed the love that each of you has for your children,' the 69-year-old grandmother-of-13 gushed. Meanwhile, Kourtney Instastoried two snaps of her late father Robert Kardashian - who died, at age 59, in 2003 from esophageal cancer - captioned: 'God blessed us with the absolute best dad' The only family member who honored all of the father figures in the Kardashian-Jenner clan - including Scott, Kanye 'Ye' West, and Tristan Thompson - was matriarch Kris Jenner Rather than Father's Day, Khloé Kardashian honored her momager in two Instastories while Kim Kardashian (pictured) focused on celebrating her daughter North West's 12th birthday on Sunday 'To my son, Rob… you were born to be a daddy and I am so proud of the father and the man you are. I love you! I wish all the dads out there a day filled with love.' Kris' youngest daughters Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner both failed to mention their father Caitlyn Jenner, who's currently in war-torn Israel. Rather than Father's Day, Khloé Kardashian honored her momager in two Instastories while Kim Kardashian focused on celebrating her daughter North West's 12th birthday on Sunday. Kardashian currently executive produces and stars in her family's reality show The Kardashians, which Hulu renewed for a seventh season last July. The half-Armenian beauty was technically the first member of her family to star in a reality show - The Simple Life-inspired eight-episode series Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive, which aired in 2005 on E!
