Ange Postecoglou's true feelings on Tottenham sack as Daniel Levy brutally acts
Tottenham have confirmed that they club will part ways with Ange Postecoglou despite the fact that the Australian guided them to Europa League glory just weeks ago

Ange Postecoglou made no secret of his desire to build on Tottenham 's Europa League triumph next year ever since the Londoners beat Manchester United last month. But it always felt like the Spurs chief would end up paying the ultimate price for an appalling season on the domestic front after finishing 17th in the Premier League.
Unfortunately for Postecoglou, 59, that has proved to be the case; he has been sacked by Tottenham supremo, Daniel Levy, just weeks after winning said trophy. News broke on Friday afternoon with official confirmation from the club coming less than an hour later.
Thomas Frank, the highly-rated Brentford manager, is in pole position to replace Postecoglou in north London and has already held talks over the role.

In many ways, Tottenham's triumph in the Europa League has only heightened the speculation over Postecoglou's future. Had they lost in Bilbao then a parting of the ways felt inevitable.
Victory and a trophy muddied the waters somewhat but, for Postecoglou's part, he made it crystal clear that he wanted to continue what he felt the club had started by winning the competition.
'I didn't want us to just enjoy the moment,' he revealed to the Australian Story when he was asked about his tease over 'season three' at Spurs' Europa League victory parade. 'I also wanted us to think about what's next, you know - don't settle for this. We've got a taste of it now. My players have got a taste for it. The club's got a taste for it. Well, let's make sure we're back here again.'
Postecoglou released a statement after the club confirmed his departure where he made it clear that he expects the team to go on and achieve even greater things - even though he will no longer be apart of the journey.
'When I reflect on my time as Manager of Tottenham Hotspur my overriding emotion is one of pride, he said on Friday evening.
'The opportunity to lead one of England's historic football clubs and bring back the glory it deserves will live with me for a lifetime. Sharing that experience with all those who truly love this club and seeing the impact it had on them is something I will never forget.That night in Bilbao was the culmination of two years of hard work, dedication and unwavering belief in a dream.
'There were many challenges to overcome and plenty of noise that comes with trying to accomplish what many said was not possible. We have also laid foundations that mean this club should not have to wait 7 more years for their next success.
'I have enormous faith in this group of players and know there is much more potential and growth in them.
'I sincerely want to thank those who are the lifeblood of the club, the supporters. I know there were some difficult times but I always felt that they wanted me to succeed and that gave me all the motivation I needed to push on.
'It's important to acknowledge the hard working people at Spurs who gave me encouragement on a daily basis.
'And finally, I want to thank those who were with me every day for the last two years. A fantastic group of young men who are now legends of this football club and the brilliant coaches who never once doubted we could do something special.
'We are forever connected. Audere est Facere.'
