Britain's Got Talent viewers 'work out' how winner pulled off magic trick
Fans and viewers of ITV's Britain's Got Talent have shared their theories as to how 2025 winner Harry Moulding pulled off an ambitious card trick that included sky diving
Britain's Got Talent fans have been left fuming after 'figuring out' how 2025 winner Harry Moulding pulled off one of his daring tricks. Fans of the long-running ITV talent show voted for the 24-year-old magician from Blackpool to win the 18th season of the show.
Harry beat off competition from dance troupe The Blackouts and solo dancer Binita, 8, to win the show. While Binita got to the final on her own merit, both Harry and The Blackouts were propelled to the final by the judges, who used golden buzzers, which gave them an automatic place in the final.
During Saturday night's grand finale, Harry wowed the judges, live audience, and those watching from home as he executed an impressive skydiving magic trick. He asked Bruno Tonioli, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden to take part in an elaborate card trick.
After several minutes of banter and card selection, it was revealed that Bruno had picked out the three of clubs, Alesha would select the four of hearts, and Amanda would pick the seven of diamonds.
While the judges were already impressed by the stage of the trick, Harry then played a video clip of himself sky diving hours earlier. During his descent, he predicted that the trio would pick the cards that the ultimately ended up with.
The judges and audience were left gobsmacked by the reveal, but some fans watching along at home were convinced they figured out how Harry had pulled off the stunt. Fans took to social media to accuse the performer of cheating - and even using AI to perfect his act.
One viewer wrote on X: "How much AI on the #BGTFinal magician's video?" And another, also accusing AI of being involved, wrote: "Not my cup tea this AI magic #BGTFinal".
Others accused Harry of using simple sleight-of-hand tricks or using reflections to perfect his stunt. One wrote: "#BGT he can see the card in the camera." And another fan typed: "They have all put their card on the top #BGT."
Other viewers were stunned by the performance, however, and went on to cheer for the winner. One wrote on X: "I'm not usually a fan of magicians, but this guy is brilliant and really enjoyable to watch #BGTFinal."
And another fan gushed: "I dont care what anyone says but Harry Moulding deserves to win. All my votes goes to him #BGTFinal."
Harry was indeed crowned winner of the 2025 season - with the awestruck magician telling hosts Ant and Dec: "I can't believe what is going on."
Snatching the microphone from Declan, he continued: "Thank you, everyone, so, so much. I genuinely feel like everyone has been behind me. This has been the most incredible journey. I can't believe that I'm here. Thank you."
His victory came after he wowed the judges with his tricks. Alesha gushed during the show: "Every time we see you, you up the level, you take it to the next level, and your imagination and the way you present your act is just astonishing. You're so likeable."
And head judge Simon Cowell added his commendation, remarking how Harry was "so good, but so humble".
He further commented: "This show, genuinely, is about finding people like you who, for whatever reason, haven't had the break they deserve. And you do deserve this break, I really think the audience are going to get behind you."
After being crowned winner, Harry has the chance to perform at the Royal Variety Performance later this year and has also pocketed a whopping £250,000 cash prize.

EXCLUSIVE The Voice UK coach REVEALED after LeAnn Rimes quit as ITV hires US superstar with link to Beyoncé for new series
The Voice UK have recruited a former X Factor judge to become the show's latest superstar coach. MailOnline can reveal Destiny's Child star Kelly Rowland, 44, has signed up to the long running ITV show in replacement of LeAnn Rimes, 42, who quit this year after just one season. The Grammy Award-winning singer, who starred in the girlband alongside Beyoncé and Michelle Williams, is 'thrilled' to be the programme's latest addition after previously serving as a judge on The X Factor UK in 2011, as well as The Voice Australia. Kelly joins longtime panelists 50, and Tom Jones, 84, and McFly co-stars Danny Jones, and Tom Fletcher, both 39, who are all returning to the show when auditions begin in the UK this summer. Singer Kelly has had previously experience on a UK judging panel when she appeared with Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos on The X Factor, and two years later established herself on the US version of the show with music boss Simon Cowell. Not only famed for global hits Say My Name, Survivor, and Independent Woman with Destiny's Child, Kelly also celebrates a successful solo career with singles Dilemma, Stole, and Work. A TV source told MailOnline: ' The Voice UK are so excited Kelly is joining the panel. 'She's an international superstar who knows how to spot talent with history on shows of this kind. 'Her experience is unmatched, and bosses are hoping she brings a new energy to the show which will be felt not only by the hopefuls auditioning but also the viewers watching at home. 'The coaching panel are really thrilled too, especially who thinks Kelly joining is the best thing to happen in years.' The Voice UK, presented by Emma Willis, has been running on ITV for over 13 years and has featured stars including Meghan Trainor, Olly Murs, Jessie J, and Anne-Marie on the panel. While the coaches have changed over the years, and Tom Jones have remained the show's longest serving judges, having been on the series since its beginning. It was revealed that LeAnn had left the show after one series last month to focus on her career in the US and appearances on the American version as a mentor alongside Sheryl Crow. McFly stars Danny and Tom will once again share a seat on the upcoming 14th series after their act Ava Mannings won the show last year. The Voice UK will be Danny's first TV gig since the fallout from his drunk BRIT Awards kiss with former Love Island star Maura Higgins. Danny and Maura were caught on film sharing an embrace at a music after party, which subsequently rocked the star's marriage to wife Georgia Horsley. The couple, who share son Cooper, haven't pictured each other on their social media pages since the incident but are believed to still be living together at their new London home. Bassist Danny, who joined The Voice UK in 2024, met Maura during his appearance on I'm A Celeb last year, which saw him crowned King of the Jungle. He apologised for any wrongdoing in a statement posted to Instagram saying he 'regretted' putting his family in such a position.

But the episode was recorded on May 5, the day before Archie's birthday. Meghan says in the podcast: "Where did the time go?" The pair spoke about Tina's first Headliners hair salon in Texas in 1990. The Duchess said: "I remember me with all my hair growing up, oh my gosh. "My mum would have to drop me off at the hair salon and I would sit there for three to four hours for them to press and curl my hair, and that was at the age of 13." Meghan also spoke about her A-list pal Tyler Perry, who offered the Sussexes a private refuge during their move to the US. It comes after the Duchess was spotted with Prince Harry at Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter tour at SoFi Stadium on May 9. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen dancing in a luxury suite worth thousands of dollars at the singer's Cowboy Carter tour in LA. Harry, 40, was standing and bopping his head awkwardly while the Duchess repeatedly threw her hands in the air as Beyonce belted out Texas Hold'Em. He wore a khaki hat, jacket and black T-shirt for the cowboy-themed show while Meghan, 43, wore a royal blue dress. A separate official photo posted on Beyonce's official tour website showed the couple smiling with their arms around each other. The Duchess of Sussex also went to Beyoncé's Renaissance tour in California in 2023 along with Harry, her mother Doria Ragland and Suits co-star Abigail Spencer. While Meghan and Doria could be seen beaming and raising their arms during the concert, an unsmiling Prince Harry had his arms stuffed in his pockets. Meghan first publicly met Beyoncé and Jay-Z in London in 2019. They met at the premiere of Disney's remake of The Lion King, in which the pop star was the voice of Nala. Meghan and Harry have crossed paths a number of times with Beyonce. In 2019, the singer received a Brit Award standing in front of a regal portrait of the Duchess of Sussex wearing a crown and jewels. Beyonce and Jay-Z explained the decision, saying: 'In honour of Black History Month, we bow down to one of our Melanated Monas. Congrats on your pregnancy! We wish you so much joy.' Meghan's makeup artist Daniel Martin revealed how she responded to the news, when he appeared on CBS News. He recalled: 'I sent her a pic. I think it was a screen grab of the two of them in front of the portrait. 'I think all I wrote was, 'Girl.' She wrote me back like the big eye emoji.' Meanwhile, Beyonce previously praised Meghan after her bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, which blasted 'racist' Britain, the Royal Family and the press, while highlighting Meghan's mental health struggles. Beyonce wrote on her website: 'Thank you Meghan for your courage and leadership. We are all strengthened and inspired by you.'
