ALBAWABA - US President Donald Trump has once again sparked debate on social media after taking to Truth Social and sharing a video of an AI-generated Barack Obama being arrested by FBI agents and sent to prison.
The video, which originated from TikTok, featured several other democratic politicians, including former US Presidents Joe Biden and Barack Obama, saying "No one is above the law!"
The AI-generated clip at the end of the video showcased Obama being handcuffed by FBI agents in the Oval Office as Trump smiled while Y.M.C.A. by the Village People played in the background. The clip sparked widespread controversy on social media with users deeming it "unprofessional" and "disrespectful" for a president to post a video of this caliber on his official socials.

The video stems from previous posts made by Donald Trump on Truth Social discussing several topics, including the "Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax," which indicates that Russia reportedly interfered in the 2016 presidential elections in favor of Trump.
Additionally, Trump recently went viral after making a long tabloid-style post on Truth Social urging his supporters to stop accusing him of ties to Jeffrey Epstein and his notorious list.
The video generated quite a buzz with reposts flooding other social media platforms such as X (formerly known as Twitter).
A social media user wrote on X, "Trump has been going full 4Chan over on Truth Social."

Zelensky warns on 'decisions without Ukraine' before US-Russia summit

KYIV, Ukraine — President Volodymyr Zelensky on Saturday warned that "decisions without Ukraine" would not bring peace and ruled out ceding territory to Russia. "Ukrainians will not give their land to the occupier," he said on social media, as US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin prepare to hold a summit next week in Alaska to discuss peace in Ukraine. "Any decisions against us, any decisions without Ukraine, are also decisions against peace. They will achieve nothing," he said, adding that the war "cannot be ended without us, without Ukraine". Zelensky said Ukraine was "ready for real decisions that can bring peace" but said it should be a "dignified peace", without giving details. Tens of thousands of people have been killed since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, with millions forced to flee their homes. Three rounds of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine this year have failed to bear fruit, and it remains unclear whether a summit would bring peace any closer. Putin has resisted multiple calls from the United States, Europe and Kyiv for a ceasefire. He has also ruled out holding talks with Zelensky at this stage, a meeting the Ukrainian president says is necessary to make headway on a deal. Announcing the summit with Putin on Friday, Trump said that "there'll be some swapping of territories to the betterment of both" Ukraine and Russia, without providing further details. The Alaska summit on August 15 would be the first between sitting US and Russian presidents since Joe Biden met Putin in Geneva in June 2021. Trump and Putin last sat together in 2019 at a G20 summit meeting in Japan during Trump's first term. They have spoken by telephone several times since January.

VIDEO: Trump says Armenia, Azerbaijan are committing to stop all fighting forever

US President Donald Trump welcomed the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan to the White House on Friday, celebrating a historic agreement aimed at ending decades of conflict between the two South Caucasus nations. 'Armenia and Azerbaijan are committing to stop all fighting forever, open up commerce, travel and diplomatic relations and respect each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity,' Trump declared during the summit. In a move signaling deeper US engagement, Trump also announced he was lifting restrictions on military cooperation with Azerbaijan. Highlighting the significance of the occasion, Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev proposed nominating Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize alongside Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who quickly voiced his support. 'So maybe we agree with Prime Minister Pashinyan to send a joint appeal to the Nobel committee to award President Trump with the Nobel Peace Prize,' Aliyev said at the event.
