, the filmmaker behind their earlier collaboration, 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne,' a film that launched Himesh Reshammiya into musical stardom.
The makers shared three 40-second clips of the voices of the cast of the film. Sharing the post on X, they wrote, "Doodh to baroodh, sabzi to gundas, bullets to beats, Gunmaster G9 is getting ready for mayhem, and the team is locked, loaded, and lethal! In cinemas 2026!"

As per an IANS report, Aditya Datt spoke about the project and shared his thoughts.
Datt said that making 'Gunmaster G9' feels like a "full-circle moment" for him. He recalled how, during the making of 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne,' he and the team were "young, hungry, and experimental." Now, with this new film, he believes they are still driven by the same passion but have become "sharper and more evolved" with time and experience.
'Gunmaster G9' features an ensemble cast including Genelia D'Souza, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Singh. This marks a dynamic mix of talents, combining action, drama, and mass appeal.
The makers have scheduled the shoot to commence in Mumbai once the monsoon ends, with a follow-up shooting schedule planned in Uttarakhand. The film is targeting a 2026 release.
