The vehicle was then searched, and during this, cops say they allegedly recovered a quantity of class A and class B drugs.
Police seized the motor, and the driver was reported for numerous alleged offences.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "The driver of this vehicle was stopped regarding a road traffic matter within Glasgow city centre on Friday.
"The vehicle was then searched, and during this, a significant quantity of class A and B drugs was recovered.
"The vehicle was seized and the driver was reported for numerous offences. Great work and another fantastic example of disrupting criminal activities."

Officers say they were first called to the busy street at 6pm and have urged locals to avoid the area. Police cars have been seen parked in the middle of the road with their blue lights flashing. Blue tape has also been erected across both ends of the street, blocking anyone from passing through. No one is being allowed access to get through a section of the road. It is currently unclear what sparked the emergency response. However, officers confirmed that they received reports of "a concern for person" at around 6pm today. The force also explained that while the incident is still ongoing, both drivers and pedestrians have been urged to avoid the area. In a statement, they explained that the road is currently closed in both directions. Police are searching for a man who reportedly had a knife in a Scots playground. A manhunt has been launched after a man was reportedly in a Scots playpark with a knife. Officers from Police Scotland received a report of a man with a knife in a playpark in Rossend Terrace in Burntisland today at around 1.55pm. ‌ Locals have noted that officers have been going door-to-door as part of their investigation into the incident. ‌ Images and videos from the scene show four cops watching over the park, as the Force noted that enquiries are ongoing. Concerned parents vented their frustration on social media. One person wrote: "My wean was at the park and some dude with a couple dogs was threatening one of her pal's maws with a knife." Another said: "They were looking for a bald headed guy with a knife." A Police Scotland spokesperson said: 'Around 1.55pm on Sunday, 15 June, 2025, we received a report of a man with a knife in a playpark in Rossend Terrace, Burntisland. Enquiries are ongoing.' On April 16, in a separate incident, we reported that a man was charged in connection with the alleged assault of a toddler in a Scots play park. ‌ A 31-year-old man was arrested and formally charged in connection after police received a report of an alleged attack on a three-year-old child in Stobbs Crescent in Kilwinning, Ayrshire, on Tuesday April 15 at around 3.40pm. Officers raced to the area and the male was traced in a "play park nearby". A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: 'Around 3.40pm on Tuesday, 15 April, 2025, we received a report of a disturbance in Stobbs Crescent, Kilwinning. ‌ ' Officers attended and a 31-year-old man was traced in a play park nearby. 'He was arrested and charged in connection with an assault involving a three-year-old child. ‌ 'A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.' Tourist, 23, plunges to her death into water at Highlands beauty spot

A 23-year-old woman has tragically died after plunging into the water at a Scottish Highlands beauty spot. Emergency services scrambled to the picturesque Rogie Falls, near Contin in Ross-shire, at around 1.45pm yesterday, as a major rescue operation was sparked. The woman was reportedly a tourist in the area and had been with others when she fell into the water. Police, Dundonnell Mountain Rescue, HM Coastguard, a helicopter and the Scottish Ambulance service were all sent to the scene. A specialist water boat was also deployed by Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. But the woman was pronounced dead at the scene and police say they are not treating the death as suspicious. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: 'Around 1.45pm on Saturday, June 14, we were called to a report of a woman having fallen into water in the Rogie Falls area of Wester Ross. 'Emergency services attended however the 23-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. 'There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.' The Rogie Falls are a series of waterfalls on the Black Water and are a popular destination with tourists. They lie off the A835 road, around a mile northwest of the village of Contin, and are famous for salmon viewing. Woodlands surround the waterfalls, with a bridge over them connecting to forest paths.
