UPDATE — 5/13/25, 10:03 a.m. ET: Diddy's daughters Chance, D'Lila and Jessie Combs reportedly left the courtroom on Monday, May 12, as sex worker Daniel Phillip was giving testimony about his alleged interactions with the rapper and Cassie.
According to People, Chance and the twins left the courtroom twice while Phillip testified, both times as he was giving graphic accounts of sexual encounters. At one point when they left, Phillip was recalling a time when Combs allegedly masturbated into a corner while watching him have sex with Cassie.
The outlet noted that Diddy's daughters as well as his mother, Janice Combs, remained in the courtroom as prosecutors played the 2016 video that showed him assaulting Cassie in a hotel. Per People, Diddy's sons, Justin, Christian and Quincy, watched the video while his daughters and Janice stared straight ahead.
Original story:
Sean 'Diddy' Combs had support from his family as his federal trial began in New York City on Monday, May 12.
The rapper's mom, Janice Combs, was in attendance along with six of his kids. His eldest daughters, Chance and twins D'Lila and Jessie, all 18, entered the courthouse on Monday morning holding hands with their brother Christian, 27. They were also accompanied by their brothers Justin, 31, and Quincy Brown, 33.
Chance dressed in an all-white outfit that included a buttoned-up cardigan and slacks, while her sisters wore matching black suits. Their brothers also appeared in dark colors, with Quincy choosing a gray suit and Justin and Christian wearing black separates.
Janice, meanwhile, wore a black suit and leopard-print top as she walked into court. The morning's proceedings are expected to begin with jury selection before both sides present their opening statements.

Diddy, 55, is the father of seven children. He shares eldest son Justin with ex Misa Hylton. The rapper and the late Kim Porter shared son Christian, and he also adopted Porter's son Quincy, whom she shared with Al B. Sure. They also welcomed twins D'Lila and Jessie. (Porter died at age 47 in 2018.) Diddy and Sarah Chapman share daughter Chance. His youngest child is daughter Love, 2, whom he shares with Dana Tran.
Following their father's arrest, Diddy's older children shared a joint statement of support for their dad.
'The past month has devastated our family,' they wrote. 'Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media. We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD.'
Diddy's mom, Janice Combs, has also been supportive of her son throughout his legal ordeal.
'I come to you today as a mother that is devastated and profoundly saddened by the allegations made against my son, Sean Combs. It is heartbreaking to see my son judged not for the truth, but for a narrative created out of lies,' she said in a statement to Us Weekly in October 2024. 'To bear witness [to] what seems to be like a public lynching of my son before he has had the opportunity to prove his innocence is a pain too unbearable to put into words. Like every human being, my son deserves to have this day in court, to finally share his side, and to prove his innocence.'

Janice, 84, and Diddy have maintained a close relationship since he rose to fame in the early 1990s.
'My mother was always working for a job, so I guess I was always trained that I should have multiple jobs, multiple aspirations,' Diddy said in a 2010 interview with Nightline. 'And I remember she had multiple aspirations, always hearing about her dreams and things she did in the past and things she wanted to do.'
Over the years, Janice accompanied her son to some of the biggest events in the music industry, including the MTV Video Music Awards and BET Awards.
Diddy was arrested in September 2024 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to all charges and has denied all of the allegations against him.

'We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney's Office,' Diddy's attorney Marc Agnifilo said in a statement at the time. 'He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal. To his credit Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.'
Since his arrest, Diddy has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His four requests for bail were denied by Judge Arun Subramanian.

Making cash off ‘AI slop': The surreal video business taking over the web

Luis Talavera, a 31-year-old loan officer in eastern Idaho, first went viral in June with an AI-generated video on TikTok in which a fake but lifelike old man talked about soiling himself. Within two weeks, he had used AI to pump out 91 more, mostly showing fake street interviews and jokes about fat people to an audience that has surged past 180,000 followers, some of whom comment to ask if the scenes are real.

'Of course': Bob Odenkirk confirms he'd be on board for more Better Call Saul

Bob Odenkirk would "of course" be on board for a new series of Better Call Saul. The 62-year-old actor first played lawyer Jimmy McGill and his corrupt alter ego Saul Goodman in Breaking Bad and then reprised the role in his own spin-off series, which ran from 2015 to 2022, and he admitted if showrunners Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould had a new idea for his character, who was jailed at the end of Better Call Saul, he would be on board, though he thinks it is unlikely. He told 'Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould created that show. There are some of the best writers who ever worked in TV. 'So if they were to think of something in that world, of course I would do it. 'But I don't think so. I think they've all moved on to some more amazing projects that you'll soon see.' Of a potential plotline, he noted: 'He's not getting out [of prison]. If there's another Saul show, it takes place inside prison" The Nobody actor will always be grateful for the opportunity to have played Saul. He said: 'That part turned my life around, and I've given more to that part than anything I've done." Creator Vince has been working on new Apple TV+ sci-fi drama Pluribus, which stars Bob's Better Call Saul co-star Rhea Seehorn, and the actor teased the programme - which will be released in November - is "going to be a great one". Bob said: 'Look forward to the best written show on TV for years to come." The veteran actor previously admitted he is "fine with moving on" from playing both Saul and his assassin character Hutch from the Nobody movies because they are both tough roles to play. He told The Hollywood Reporter: 'They're guys who, for different reasons, have pretty big chips on their shoulders, and that's hard to play after a while. You can't just carry that guy around all the time.' Bob suffered a heart attack during the filming of the final season of Better Call Saul and he recently recalled how he was lucky that co-stars Ray Campbell and Patrick Fabian were nearby as he likely would have died had the incident happened in his trailer. He told Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend: "It was during Covid shooting, so we were separate from the crew. "And luckily, I didn't go to my trailer. If I'd gone to my trailer, I wouldn't be here, because they don't bother you (in the trailer)." But his co-stars' screams for help were initially mistaken as laughter at first due to the social distancing provisions in place on the set. He said: "It took a few seconds to realise people were screaming." Bob was grateful to the show's medical officer Rosa Estrada as she "immediately" began CPR after learning that no defibrillator would be available for 15 minutes.
