Conan O'Brien Is Already Being Hailed As One Of The Greatest Oscars Hosts Of All Time, So Here's A Roundup Of His Best Jokes Of The Night
Off the back of the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles in January and all the Emilia Pérez conflict of recent weeks, delivering a seamless and joy-filled broadcast was certainly no mean feat. But, as reviews begin to flow in and fans weigh in online, the 97th Academy Awards are already being hailed as one of 'the best Oscars in years.'
Even the outlets that were more critical of the ceremony couldn't help but praise Conan's 'edgy wit' and 'absurdist humor.'

People are hailing him as the perfect host, suggesting that he 'should be the only person allowed to host things' ever. So, without further ado, here's a roundup of the comedian's best jokes and bits of the night:
1. He began by respecting the balance, The Substance style.
ABC / MUBI / Twitter: @FilmUpdates
I know Demi Moore loved this. Queen.
2.'Anora uses the F-word 479 times. That's three more than the record set by Karla Sofía Gascón's publicist.'
ABC
As someone who was watching live, I can confidently say that this was the first heavy hitter of the night. I cringed when they cut to Karla in the audience…
3."Before we go any further, I want you to know: We did not use AI to make this show... We used child labor."
"Hey! They're still people!"
4. 'A Complete Unknown...A Real Pain...Nosferatu...these were just some of the names I was called on the red carpet.'
ABC / Twitter: @SpencerAlthouse
"I think two were fair."
5. Don't upset John Lithgow, please.
ABC / Twitter: @DEADLINE
I fear Adrien Brody did not take note.
6.'Karla, if you tweet about the Oscars tonight, my name is Jimmy Kimmel.'
Nothing like a bit of friendly competition.
7. 'It's Ralph Fiennes's third time being nominated. If he doesn't win tonight, we get to call him RALPH.'
ABC / Twitter: @ClubConcrave
Rafe. Ralph. However you like it, he took it like a champ.
8. CinemaStreams
ABC / Twitter: @ConanOBrien
I loved this — and it's not the Oscars without a Martin Scorsese cameo.
9. 'Anora is having a good night. Two wins already. I guess Americans are excited to see somebody finally stand up to a powerful Russian.'
ABC / Twitter: @SpencerAlthouse
Hi, Mr. President!
10. 'Well, we're halfway through the show, which means it's time for Kendrick Lamar to come out and call Drake a pedophile.'
ABC / Twitter: @SpencerAlthouse
'Don't worry, I'm lawyered up.' Drake cannot catch a break.
11. 'Our hearts go out to all of those who have lost their homes...and I'm talking about the producers of Joker 2.'
ABC / Twitter: @SpencerAlthouse
Ok, technically, Conan didn't say this one himself — but he was certainly responsible.
12. And finally, Adam Sandler violating the dress code.
ABC / Twitter: @clubheartbreak
CHAAAAAALAMEEEEEEEET!!!!!!
Honestly, if Jimmy Kimmel hosted the Oscars four times, we should have Conan for at least ten. He just gets it.
What did you think of his hosting debut? LMK your favorite bits from the night in the comments!

Jack Antonoff's Wife Issues Telling Response After Her Husband Was Mysteriously Left Off of Taylor Swift's New Album
Everyone, and we mean everyone, is looking forward to Taylor Swift's newest album The Life of a Showgirl. However, Swifties noticed that one of the Lover singer's longtime collaborators, Jack Antonoff, isn't included in the project. His wife Margaret Qualley revealed her true thoughts about the situation. Today host Craig Melvin talked to The Substance actress on the morning show and pointed out that her husband 'has produced for Taylor for years.' He asked if she knew anything about the new album. Margaret responded, 'I don't know anything.' She added, 'I'll be excited to listen to the music.' More from StyleCaster Taylor Swift's The Life of a Showgirl Will Allegedly Address Her Beef With Donald Trump & Blake Lively Taylor Swift's The Life of a Showgirl Alleged Leaked Track List Includes a Feature With an Eras Tour Opener When announcing the newest album on her boyfriend Travis Kelce's podcast New Heights, Swift explained that she, Max Martin, and Shellback were the sole producers of the album. 'We've never actually made an album before where it's just the three of us,' she continued, before confirming: 'There's no other collaborators. It's just the three of us making a focused album.' Related: Taylor Swift's Will Allegedly Address Her Beef With Donald Trump & Blake Lively Antonoff, along with Aaron Dessner, were producers for Swift's last five albums including The Tortured Poets Department, evermore, folklore, and her re-recorded Taylor's Versions. Legendary pop producer Max Martin and his frequent collaborator Shellback worked with Swift during her transition into pop from country, when they produced many songs on Red and 1989. Swift revealed that she reunited with the Grammy award winning producer when she was in Sweden for her Eras Tour. 'When I was on tour in Stockholm, I had Max Martin come out to the show, and I was talking to him, and I was like, 'I just feel like we could knock it out of the park if we went back in.' Though as any Swiftie knows, Antonoff and Swift will always be besties. ('I love you to death, Taylor,' he said when he won Producer of the Year at the Grammys in 2024.) She recalled fondly about the time they worked together on the podcast saying that their past projects were 'esoteric.' 'I was just kind of exploring and trying to challenge myself as a writer,' she said. However, the Bleachers frontman isn't really straying away from the TS universe. He's credited as a main producer of Sabrina Carpenter's Man's Best Friend, and the 'Please Please Please' singer is featured on the last song on The Life of a Showgirl. As for what to expect from Swift, Shellback, and Martin, Swift said of the collaboration, 'By the time we came back together, I feel like we had so much more dexterity to what we do,' adding: 'It felt like all three of us in the room were carrying the same weight as creators.' The goals for the album were simple to Swift. 'I essentially said to him, 'I want to be as proud of it as an album as I am of the Eras Tour, and for the same reasons,' she said. 'And he was like, 'Do you understand what kind of pressure that is?'' Hosted by Diane Sawyer, the program offers an intimate look at Bruce Willis's life following his frontotemporal dementia diagnosis, and the strength and advocacy of his wife, Emma Heming Willis. Frontotemporal dementia (FTD) is described as a group of brain disorders caused by progressive damage to the frontal lobes (behind the forehead) and/or the temporal lobes (behind the ears). In March 2022, Willis was diagnosed with aphasia, a language disorder that happens when the parts of the brain responsible for speech, comprehension, reading, or writing are damaged. Rising to Early Fame Bruce Willis rose to stardom opposite Cybill Shepherd in his Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning role as wisecracking detective David Addison on the dramedy Moonlighting, which aired from 1985 to 1989. Vince McMahon Claims N-Word Abuser Hulk Hogan 'Wasn't A Racist,' X Says That's Cap Brother
Source: Getty Images / Vince McMahon / Hulk Hogan Vince McMahon has come out of his cave to put on his cape for the late Hulk Hogan, whose racist past continues to haunt him after his death. In a recent interview with TMZ's Harvey Levin, former WWE CEO Vince McMahon claimed that the late Hulk Hogan 'wasn't a racist,' even though he described himself once on tape as 'racist to a point' and used the N-word. He also admitted that Hogan 'said some racist things.' McMahon, who has been off the radar and out of the spotlight since he was aired out for his abhorrent behavior, did admit that Hogan's past remarks were 'racist,' while adding they were 'unforgivable,' but said in his opinion that it was 'not like him.' We care about your data. See our privacy policy. Levin also pressed McMahon about welcoming Hogan back into the WWE fold after previously distancing away from him, going as far as removing him from the WWE Hall of Fame. Hogan did apologize for his remarks, but pretty much doubled down after aligning himself with the MAGA movement, which doesn't hide its white pride bullsh*t disguised as an 'America first' agenda when he proudly stumped for the Racist-In-Chief, Donald Trump, showing up at one of Felon 47's rallies. 'I knew he wasn't a racist,' McMahon said. 'I'd been with him for so many years. He wasn't a racist. He said some racist things, and he should pay for that, and he did. But in the end, I think that everyone saw the real Hulk Hogan, Terry Bollea, and they felt [like] 'Now, wait a minute. This guy, he doesn't act like a racist.' He's not a racist. We all make mistakes. That was a big on,e but he wasn't a racist.' The conversation with McMahon is part of TMZ's The Real Hulk Hogan special that also features appearances from Sylvester Stallone, Mick Foley, and others. Following Hogan's death as a result of a heart attack, his 'complicated' legacy became a topic of discussion, with many body slamming him for being a racist. Still, that didn't stop people from somehow managing to separate the man from his racism, and celebrating him for being an influential figure and icon in the world of professional wrestling. Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson was one of the many paying their respects to the disgraced wrestler, calling him his 'childhood hero.' In response to the clip featuring McMahon, users on X have been calling C A P, while wondering what the hell is going on with his physical appearance. ' I was watching the TMZ special on Hulk Hogan. Vince McMahon looks like he's embalmed,' one post on X, formerly Twitter, read. Others electronically rolled their eyes at McMahon's claims that while Hogan said racist things, he wasn't a racist. Well, there ain't a damn thing complicated over here, we're just saying. You can see more reactions in the gallery below.
