Channel 4 viewers can now stream Peaky Blinder creator's spy thriller with The Handmaid's Tale star for free.
The Veil has recently been added to the broadcasters streaming library. It was previously released and only made available via Disney+ with a premium subscription.
A six-part mini-series, it was created and written by Steven Knight. Knight is also known for making Peaky Blinders, A Thousand Blows and Taboo. It stars Elisabeth Moss in the leading role, who is recognisable for appearing in the hit series and adaptation of Margaret Atwood's novel The Handmaid's Tale.
According to its synopsis, The Veil is an international spy thriller series that explores the surprising and fraught relationship between two women who play a deadly game of truth and lies on the road from Istanbul to Paris and London.
One woman has a secret, while the other is on a mission to reveal it before thousands of lives are lost. In the shadows, mission controllers at the U.S. CIA and French DGSE must put differences aside, as difficult as it may be, and work together to avert potential disaster before it is too late.
Upon its initial release, it was met with relatively mixed reviews. It only managed a 54% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. However many agree on the high standard of Moss' captivating performance and explain the short length makes for a binge worthy show.
One critic wrote: "By the end of the six episodes of The Veil, I was convinced that this is Moss' best role, and best performance, yet. She's amazing."
Another penned: "The Veil has a star and enough of a hook to grab you -- and, at six episodes, seems algorithmically calculated to be short enough that you probably won't give up if you start... You'd almost feel guilty turning it off."
Fans of the show have spoken highly of the show as well. One sharing their thoughts online, said: "Highly underrated show. Riveting, great leads, solid acting, gripping. Its an intelligent drama with the cold war style storytelling, intelligent, not just explosions and gunfire. Brilliant show so far. Savouring the episodes and saving the last. Don't want the journey to be over."
Another added: "I couldn't help but watch it all in one day. It keeps you glued to the screen. Great show, great cast, great storyline and twists, action packed."
Meanwhile a third posted: "Utterly compelling. Like a good book that you just can't put down until you've read cover to cover and end up with book grief! Having been gripped tight watching the first episode, it was impossible to wait another week. I watched all six in one sitting."
The Veil is streaming on Channel 4 and Disney+.

It's a suitably glib start to the hour-long film, 1,000 Men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story, which charts the controversial OnlyFans star's rise to global infamy. Aged 26, Blue, whose real name is Tia Billinger, is best known for staging extreme sex stunts; in January, she claimed to have slept with 1,057 men in 12 hours, filming it all for her OnlyFans account, which has since been disabled after the platform banned her. It's hard to know where to begin with Blue, who earns upwards of £1.5m per month from her videos, which she now shares on Fansly, another subscription-based social platform. Perhaps with the sheer impossibility of her so-called 1,000-men challenge, which would amount to 41 seconds per man, without accounting for the time it takes to change between them. Then there's the footage itself, much of which features in the film, showing a fully-naked Blue surrounded by penises penetrating her mouth and vagina. Or there's her litany of rage-bait TikTok videos, in which she urges 'barely legal or barely breathing' men to have sex with her, often at the expense of their wives and girlfriends, who Blue happily lambasts as sexually inferior.

ITV star eyes up Blind Date presenter role as Disney+ reboot confirmed after six years
EXCLUSIVE: Blind Date is returning to television screens for the first time in six years and former TOWIE star Bobby Norris is set to host the rebooted matchmaking show Former The Only Way Is Essex star Bobby Norris has put himself forward to host the reboot of Blind Date. It has been confirmed that Disney+ is bringing back the iconic matchmaking show reimagined for a contemporary audience. The new series will begin in a secret location where contestants must choose between three potential suitors hidden from view behind the legendary Blind Date wall, the only thing standing between them and their potential true love just metres away. With a host of unique, innovative and head-turning format twists, daters will see if forever love can truly grow as they spend the summer living together but potential new partners are always lurking behind the wall. The 10-part series will start production later this year and reality TV regular Bobby, who appeared in TOWIE from 2012 until 2021, is up for fronting the show. Speaking in an exclusive chat during a shoot with WhichBingo, presenter Bobby said: "Bobby's Blind Date. " Paul O'Grady and Cilla Black were legends so they're big shoes to fill but I think we could do it." Blind Date originally ran with Cilla as host on Saturday nights from November 30 1985 to May 31 2003 on ITV. The show returned in 2017 on Channel 5 with Paul presenting the revived programme until it ended in 2019. Melanie Sykes became the new voice of the show, taking over the role most famously held by Graham Skidmore in the original series. The show had a format similar to the series known in Australia as Perfect Match or in the US as The Dating Game. Three singles of the same sex were introduced to the audience and were then asked a question by a single individual of the opposite sex, who could hear but not see them, to choose with whom to go on a date. The couple then picked an envelope naming their destination and the following episode showed the couple on their date, as well as interviews with them about the date and each other. Locations ranged from Bognor Regis or a date in an ice cream factory, to Anguilla or the Maldives.
