Pixel phones could get Galaxy-style navigation according to hidden code
The latest release of Android Canary, the program that allows Pixel users to see new Android features in advance, contained code spotted by Android expert Mishaal Rahman. The code gives Pixel users the option to flip the order of the three navigation buttons on the phone. While the Pixel's three-button navigation goes, from left-to-right, Back, Home, Recents, the three-button navigation on Samsung phones has Recents first on the left, followed by Home, and Back.
What the Pixel 3-button navigation UI will look like when flipped to match Samsung's version. | Image credit-Android Authority So if you're switching from a Samsung Galaxy handset to a Pixel, and you use the three-button navigation interface, your muscle memory might mix things up, and you'll go to Recents when you meant to go Back. If Google follows through with this code, Pixel users will have the option of having their three-button navigation interface appear just as it does on a Galaxy phone.
We'd love to tell you when you can expect this feature to appear, but alas, we can't. Since it's only code in Android Canary for now, there is no way to determine when-or even if, Google plans to launch this feature. We're sure that those who have switched from a Galaxy device to a Pixel and had problems using the three-button navigation know exactly how this change could be very useful.

In that case, the rumored price hike would be more than justified, considering the 256GB iPhone 16 Pro retails for $1,099. The 256GB iPhone 17 Pro will go for $1,049 if the rumor is legit, so, in a way, the price will go down. The base iPhone 17 Pro might be $50 more expensive, but it is expected to have 256GB of storage. The iPhone 17 Pro is also expected to feature hardware improvements that may make the case for a price increase, including a revamped back design, a faster chip, and a 48MP telephoto camera. That said, it could be argued that not everyone necessarily needs 256GB of storage, and the price jump will see the Pro model cross the $1,000 threshold for the first Apple Intelligence hype wasn't enough to drive a sales frenzy. Apple seems to be betting on the iPhone 17 Air 's and iPhone 17 Pro's redesign to boost sales. The first spike in price for a high-end flagship model since iPhone X will uncoincidentally coincide with the first major redesign since that model. The jump in storage for the iPhone 17 Pro will likely soften the blow, while still allowing Apple to keep a fatter margin for the iPhone 17 Pro Max . The iPhone 17 series will reportedly be announced on September 9.

New orange iPhone 17 Pro looks like a head-turner, but perhaps not for the right reasons
It's been pretty much confirmed that the iPhone 17 Pro — coming September 9 — will have a new color that looks a bit orange. A new video showing off a dummy unit confirms that the phone's appearance will likely receive a very mixed reception from Apple my opinion, the new shade looks like the previous Desert Titanium color had some orange poured into it. It's not awful, but it definitely wouldn't have been my first choice if I was buying the iPhone 17 . Also, according to previous leaks which included photos of actual camera rings, this color is almost certainly what Apple has gone for. Of course, the redesign of the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max isn't to many people's liking in the first place. As such, there might be a lot more interest in the base iPhone 17 this year, or even the new iPhone 17 Air. However, the new Liquid Glass iPhone 17 Pro color option may sway some folks. This new color, though mostly white, will make the phone's chassis reflect in various ways under different lighting conditions. It's Apple's way of rewarding iPhone users who appreciate the craftsmanship of Liquid Glass in iOS 26. That's a shame, as I think most people really liked the Ultramarine and Desert Titanium color options last year. Seeing a proper shade of purple make its way back into rotation is very welcome. While there aren't any reports about what we can expect the Samsung Galaxy S26 series to look like, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for at least one standout color.
