Mr. Subramanyam underscored that past Trust boards and EOs had similarly explored the feasibility of expediting darshan through advanced technology, but were ultimately compelled to drop these endeavors owing to inherent structural constraints within the temple. Senior officials concurred with Mr. Subramanyam's assessment, illustrating that previous administrators who toyed with several options like installing a moving carpet within the sanctum sanctorum or devising 'Netra Dwaralu' were forced to abandon these ideas owing to structural limitations and adherence to Agama sastras, respectively. However, another section of employees has voiced support for Mr. Naidu's proposal, positing that exploring AI-driven solutions to alleviate prolonged waiting hours is a laudable pursuit. They argue that even if the management does not succeed in its primary objective, it may still yield innovative methods to substantially reduce waiting times. Mr. Naidu also rebuked Mr. Subramanyam for his remarks, deeming them unsolicited and unjustifiable in light of the global trend towards AI adoption. He emphasized that the proposal aims not only to curtail waiting hours but also to provide pilgrims with advance information of their darshan timing so as to enable to plan other temple visits in the district more effectively.

A.P. Chief Minister sets a target of per capita income of ₹5.42 lakh by the end of 2029
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu told the officials of the Planning Department to draw a roadmap for increasing the per capita income to ₹3,47,871 by the end of FY 2025–26, and to ₹5.42 lakh by 2029. He stressed the importance of taking the Gross Value Added (GVA) to higher levels especially in mining, agriculture, horticulture and aqua sectors. Addressing a review meeting on the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) and the government Key Performance Indicators (KPI) with officials of the planning and other departments concerned at the Secretariat on Monday (August 04), Mr. Chandrababu Naidu said all the government departments should have sector-specific plans for the short, medium and long terms in order to achieve the desired goals in a systematic manner. He suggested that due priority has to be given to increasing the incomes of households, and called for efficient utilization of the natural resources. Governance should be integrated with advanced technologies to be able to deliver citizen services in a better way, he said, calling for the policies to be in alignment with national and global trends so that the best outcomes could be achieved. Further, A.P. must become the State having the highest per capita income, and living standards that were superior to those of other States, he added. Monitoring should be done from the family level, and the officials have to incorporate the forest green cover, air quality, per capita electricity usage, and other such indicators in their planning process to arrive at a comprehensive picture. The CM told the officials to make 700 government services available online from August 15, and said that information gathered through the Real Time Governance Society was a valuable asset that helps in making out plans from a long-term perspective. Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav, Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand and other senior officials took part.

Andhra liquor scam: New video shows Jagan Reddy party leader's aide counting cash
A new video linked to the Andhra Pradesh liquor scam has surfaced, showing stacks of cash reportedly worth Rs 35 crore. The video was allegedly found on the phone of Venkatesh Naidu, who is named Accused No. 34 (A-34) in the case. Naidu, a close aide of YSRCP senior leader Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, is seen in the video counting bundles of cash, which investigators say came through hawala cash includes both Rs 500 notes and old, demonetised Rs 2000 notes. It is suspected to have come from a distillery company and was allegedly sent to Chevireddy as proof of receipt. Naidu has been taken into custody by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in who is known to be closely associated with former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, has been listed as Accused No 38 (A-38) in the case. Reddy was detained by the SIT on June 18 in Bengaluru. The YSRCP had previously alleged that the arrests of MP PV Midhun Reddy, former MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, retired IAS officer K Dhanunjaya Reddy, Officer on Special Duty Krishna Mohan Reddy, and others in connection with the liquor case were part of a targeted crackdown by the TDP-led government in Andhra Pradesh.- EndsMust Watch IN THIS STORY#Andhra Pradesh
