A doctor in Arkansas spent nearly a decade using hidden cameras to film people, including a juvenile, as they changed clothes in a bedroom or took a shower, police said.
Landaryl Lankford, 46, is facing multiple sexual offense charges, according to the Fort Smith Police Department. The offenses occurred over a span of more than nine years.
He was arrested and charged with rape, sexual assault, possession or use of child sexual abuse material, introduction of a controlled substance into the body of another and video voyeurism, police said in an April 29 news release.
Lankford's attorney information was not listed.
The investigation came to a forefront on March 30 when a victim came forward and reported that they woke up to Lankford sexually assaulting them, police said.
'Thousands of videos,' including child sexual abuse material, were found on the man's devices, according to an arrest affidavit.
Some of the videos showed the man putting up hidden cameras in a bedroom and bathroom in a residence, according to the affidavit. Photos and videos of a child changing in a bedroom were also on the devices, police said.
Lankford was also seen on some of the video files standing over victims he had drugged with a controlled sleeping pill and sexually assaulted while they were asleep, the affidavit said.
Multiple victims were identified in the course of the investigation, according to police. One victim was a juvenile, police said .
Videos found on the devices also showed Lankford moving similar-looking pills into different pill bottles, according to police.
Officers found 'Triazolam' prescription bottles, a sedative used to treat insomnia, for Lankford and a pill crusher in the residence, according to the arrest affidavit.
The investigation is ongoing.
Fort Smith is about a 160-mile drive northwest from Little Rock.

It's ‘a small part of LA' is latest media refrain to minimize violent mobs
Get ready for the 2025 version of 'mostly peaceful protest.' It's 'a small part of the city.' Even liberal media knows it looks bad when Mexican flag-waving punks are wearing skull masks and setting fire to cars. It's hard to paint President Trump as a fascist when protesters from another country are inciting violence and looting. They're desperate to minimize what's going on, to suggest that it's Trump who is inflaming the situation and not the rioters themselves. Advertisement A burnt US flag is seen on the ground amid clashes with law enforcement. AFP via Getty Images When the George Floyd riots descended into mayhem, the constant refrain on CNN was 'a mostly peaceful protest.' A few bad apples burned that police station, yes, but that's not the full story. This time around, they're going geographic. 'Federal agents clashed with protesters in the Los Angeles area for a third day, and hundreds of National Guard troops were deployed,' The New York Times wrote. 'But much of the sprawling city operated as usual.' Advertisement The Times even wrote a story, 'Life goes on in the city,' remarking on all the parades and events happening in the 18 million person Los Angeles area at the same time as the clashes, as if that was even relevant. The framing is spreading, as these things usually do. Monday morning's Axios report said, 'The clashes between police and protesters were centered in several blocks of downtown — a small slice of the city.' Ah, a small slice. Guess shutting down the 101 Freeway and burning Waymo cars isn't that big a deal — everything's fine in Santa Monica! Advertisement Demonstrators wave flags from atop a wrecked car, standing beside burning Waymo vehicles, as protesters clash with law enforcement in the streets surrounding the federal building during a protest following federal immigration operations in Los Angeles, California, on June 8, 2025. AFP via Getty Images Imagine if all news was treated this way. Murder in Queens, but in Brooklyn, life goes on. Hurricanes in Florida, but that's just a small slice of the United States. The motives are so transparent they are laughable. The media wants to diminish and distract, but for the rest of us, reality goes on.

Greta Thunberg and friends on intercepted ‘selfie yacht' will be forced to watch ‘video of the horrors' of Oct. 7, IDF says
Greta Thunberg and her posse of international activists will be forced to watch footage of the Oct. 7 terror attack after Israeli forces intercepted their Gaza-bound 'selfie yacht,' Israel's defense minister revealed Monday. Israeli Defense Forces captured and boarded the Madleen ship, operated by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, after the Swedish activist and the others on board tried to break the naval blockade of the Gaza Strip — just hours after Israeli officials demanded they call off the stunt. 'I congratulate the IDF for the quick and safe takeover of the 'Madleen' flotilla to prevent them from breaking the blockade and reaching the shores of Gaza,' Israel's defense minister, Israel Katz, said on X. 6 The Madleen aid vessel is manned by 12 activists, including Greta Thunberg and Irish actor Liam Cunningham. Getty Images 'I instructed the IDF to show the flotilla passengers the video of the horrors of the October 7 massacre when they arrive at the port of Ashdod,' he wrote. 'It is appropriate that the anti-Semitic Greta and her fellow Hamas supporters see exactly who the Hamas terrorist organization they came to support and for whom they work is, what atrocities they committed against women, the elderly, and children, and against whom Israel is fighting to defend itself,' he explained. It comes after Thunberg had claimed that she and her crew had been 'kidnapped' in international waters by Israeli forces after they had set off to try and deliver aid to Gaza later Monday. Israel, for its part, dismissed the saga as a stunt. 'The 'selfie yacht' of the 'celebrities' is safely making its way to the shores of Israel. The passengers are safe and were provided with sandwiches and water,' the ministry wrote on X. Photos showed the crew, which included Irish actor Liam Cunningham, all seated on the boat with their hands in the air as the IDF thwarted their attempts to reach Gaza. One image showed Thunberg smiling while a soldier held out a sandwich. 6 Thunberg posted a Telegram claiming that the vessel had been 'intercepted' by Israeli forces. New report identifies anti-LGBTQ+ incidents in Ohio
Close-Up of rainbow flag with crowd In background during LGBT Pride Parade. Getty Images. Nearly 50 anti-LGBTQ incidents happened in Ohio in a year, according to a new report by the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation. GLAAD's Anti-LGBTQ Extremism Reporting Tracker (ALERT) documented 932 anti-LGBTQ incidents nationwide from May 1, 2024 to May 1, 2025. A little more than half of all nationwide incidents targeted transgender and gender non-conforming people. SUBSCRIBE: GET THE MORNING HEADLINES DELIVERED TO YOUR INBOX These incidents led to 84 injuries (including one in Ohio) and 10 deaths, according to the report. ALERT tracked these incidents through self-reports, media, social media posts and data sharing from partner organizations and law enforcement. 'This year, rollbacks in LGBTQ visibility and challenges to our rights are coupled with a sharp rise in anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and disinformation across social media and political campaigns,' GLAAD President & CEO Sarah Kate Ellis said in a statement. 'It's only through awareness, collective action, and community that we can turn the tide toward greater safety and acceptance.' The ACLU is currently tracking nearly 600 anti-LGBTQ bills nationwide, some of which are in Ohio. Nearly half of the incidents in Ohio involved the Dayton Street Preachers hosting anti-LGBTQ protests at universities, events, street corners, Pride events, or outside the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati. Many of the Ohio incidents involved Pride flags being stolen last summer. A transgender woman was injured while bartending a drag show in Columbus last July, according to the report. A man disrupted the show and was kicked out by the bartender, but the man punched the bartender and kicked down the glass door while yelling homophobic slurs, according to NBC4. Back in March, someone threatened to shoot up an upcoming drag show event in Columbus in the comments of a Facebook event, according to the report. In terms of anti-LGBTQ legislation, some anti-LGBTQ laws took effect in Ohio earlier this year, including banning Ohio transgender students from using school bathrooms and locker rooms that align with their gender identity. It also bans students from sharing overnight accommodations with people of the opposite sex from their assigned sex at birth at a K-12 school. Republicans have introduced other measures targeting the LGBTQ community this year. Ohio House Bill 190 would prohibit school employees from calling a student a name that is not listed on their birth certificate and would ban them from using pronouns that do not align with their biological sex. Ohio House Bill 172 would not allow minors age 14 and older to receive mental health services without parental consent. Currently, mental health professionals are permitted to provide outpatient mental health services to minors 14 and older on a temporary basis without parental consent. State Rep. Johnathan Newman, R-Troy, introduced both bills and said H.B. 172 is a follow-up to a law that took effect earlier this year that requires educators out a student's sexuality to their parents. House Bill 249 would ban drag performers from performing anywhere that isn't considered a designated adult entertainment facility. On the Democratic side, state Reps. Eric Synenberg and Anita Somani recently introduced the Marriage Equality Act which would place put a constitutional amendment on the November 2026 ballot that would enshrine marriage equality in the state constitution. This is in response to a constitutional amendment Ohioans passed in 2004 that defines marriage as 'only a union between one man and one woman.' Follow Capital Journal Reporter Megan Henry on Bluesky.
