Justin Timberlake's tour began in April 2024, with the singer now on its final leg. Despite being in its closing stages, the tour has begun to circulate widely on social media, with users widely meme-ifying and making jokes about Timberlake's performances.
Newsweek has reached out to a representative for Timberlake outside of regular working hours via email for comment.

Timberlake was arrested in June 2024 for driving while intoxicated (DWI) in Sag Harbor, New York. In September, he pleaded guilty to a noncriminal driving while impaired traffic violation and was fined and given community service.
What To Know
During recent appearances on the European leg of the tour, including stops in Romania and Ireland, the 10-time Grammy-winning singer is seen only singing parts of his songs in fan-captured footage.
Some fans have also complained that he was arriving on stage late and amid the backlash there has been a wave of viral memes.
Multiple clips of Timberlake performing the song from the Trolls soundtrack, Can't Stop The Feeling have gone viral. In one video, from a concert in Transylvania, Romania, Timberlake is shown performing with his hood up, partly singing the song and pointing his mic out to the crowd so that they could sing along. He then does the same thing for a number of other songs, failing to sing the whole songs himself. That video, which has the text overlay "Go girl give us nothing," has been viewed over 4 million times. Another video of him performing similarly at a concert in Dublin has been viewed over 18 million times.
One TikTok, from the creator @90skid4lyfe, which has the text overlay "Imagine paying $500 for this type of energy at a Justin Timberlake concert in 2025," has been viewed over 20 million times.
Another video, shared by the creator @snarkymarky, starts with the creator saying, "You can't do this to me, this is going to ruin the tour," with the text overlay "Justin Timberlake when he was getting arrested last year."
The TikTok then cuts to a clip of @snarkymarky with the audio from the performance of Can't Stop The Feeling, and has the text overlay "The tour in question."
This a reference to something that Timberlake allegedly muttered when he was arrested last year. An anonymous source told Page Six at the time that when Timberlake was arrested, he mumbled: "This is going to ruin the tour." The policeman replied "What tour?" to which Timberlake responded "The world tour."
What People Are Saying
@farrelhegarty posted a TikTok, viewed 7 million times, with the text overlay: "Justin Timberlake's concert interrupting his busy day."
@sarcasticmommy4 wrote on X: "I wasn't even at Justin Timberlake's concert & I'd like a refund."
@ladypositive, in a TikTok viewed over 750,000 times with the text overlay: "POV: Justin's concert is interrupting his breakfast."
What's Next
Timberlake's tour is scheduled to conclude on July 30 in Turkey.

Mariah Carey Is Looking For The Kind Of Comeback She Managed Two Decades Ago

20 years ago, Mariah Carey managed one of the most impressive comebacks of all time when "We Belong ... More Together" hit No. 1 on the Hot 100. Two decades later, she's trying again. Mariah Carey during VH1 Save The Music: A Concert To Benefit The VH1 Save The Music Foundation - Show - Day 1 at Beacon Theatre in New York City, New York, United States. (Photo by Marc Bryan-Brown/WireImage) Even two decades after one of the most impressive returns in pop history, Mariah Carey still isn't done proving herself. In 2005, she reemerged as a powerhouse on the Billboard charts with The Emancipation of Mimi after years of personal and professional turbulence. The set was a behemoth, and it all began with 'We Belong Together,' which showed that one of the biggest stars in music history had finally found her footing. Now, with new singles out and an album on the horizon, the icon is eyeing another comeback — this time in an industry that looks nothing like the one she once dominated. 'We Belong Together' Reestablished Mariah Carey as a Hitmaker In March of 2005, Carey unveiled 'We Belong Together,' a slow-burning R&B ballad that reminded the world of her vocal prowess and songwriting talents. The track didn't just perform well — it became one of the biggest smashes of the decade. The tune would spend 14 nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 in the summer of that year, and it quickly stood out as one of the longest-running leaders ever. The Emancipation of Mimi Launched a New Mariah Carey Powered by the success of 'We Belong Together,' The Emancipation of Mimi launched to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and quickly became one of the bestselling albums of the year. The project spawned additional smashes like 'Don't Forget About Us' and fan favorites such as 'Shake It Off.' Critics hailed it as her strongest effort in years, and from the moment that the first single dropped – and certainly once it began ruling the Hot 100 – it was clear that her comeback was complete. Here for It All Marks a New Chapter In 2025, Carey is back with new music, and she's looking for the same kind of comeback that she secured 20 years ago. Her new album Here for It All is scheduled for release on September 26, and she's already previewed the project with two singles: 'Type Dangerous,' a sleek, modern production that arrived in early June, and 'Sugar Sweet,' a multi-artist collaboration featuring Shenseea and Kehlani, which dropped in late July. So far, neither have become huge commercial wins, but this is a special chapter for Carey, and a comeback can look and sound different this time around. Beyond 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' For years now, Carey's annual seasonal dominance with 'All I Want for Christmas Is You' has made her a fixture at the top of the Hot 100 every December. But even as that single reclaims the No. 1 spot toward the end of the year – something the singer openly embraces – Carey is looking to be known for more than just the one tune. 'We Belong Together' made her a superstar once more, the kind that could be counted on to produce a radio giant. Carey's latest chapter further underscores her abilities as a songwriter, a singer, and as a woman who continues to redefine her legacy with both decades-old tunes and new work at the same time, which is an incredibly tricky feat.

James Gunn Confirms 9 DC Projects in Active Development but THE AUTHORITY Might Be in Trouble — GeekTyrant

James Gunn recently teased what's happening at DC Studios, and while there's a lot to be excited about, one highly-anticipated project might be stalling. In a recent TikTok interview with Straw Hat Goofy, Gunn enthusiastically listed several DCU projects that are actively moving forward. 'We got some really cool stuff happening. We got Supergirl coming out in a year, we got Lanterns coming out [in] probably less than a year. That's some good stuff, that's some really good stuff… 'We're making Clayface right now, and that is, oh man, the script by Mike Flanagan [is] so, oh, so good. Straight horror. And we're working on The Brave and the Bold , Wonder Woman , The Batman 2 with Matt Reeves, we're working on that, we're working on Sgt. Rock .' That's a total of seven projects Gunn rattled off without hesitation. Add to that some 'Krypto shorts… little cartoons for kids that are really fun' and a second season of Creature Commandos , which Gunn calls a 'real big priority,' and that brings the current count to nine. But what about The Authority ? When asked about the status of the WildStorm team's DCU debut, Gunn's response was... less enthusiastic. 'The Authority, that's… That's not going so well?' He said that with an awkward pause and laugh, and that might speak volumes about where that project currently stands. As for The Brave and the Bold , Gunn recently gave a small update. 'There's really no new updates,' he said. 'I mean, we're working on a script. We have a screenwriter who's hammering away at it. I'm very involved, and so, you know, we'll see what happens next. I wish I had more news for you, but I don't.' One project Gunn didn't explicitly mention but is definitely coming soon is Peacemaker Season 2, which drops in August. The whole TikTok clip played with a running gag where John Cena, fully suited up as Peacemaker, is completely ignored by Gunn. which is a fun nod to the next chapter that's just around the corner. There might be more unannounced projects still cooking behind the scenes, but as it stands, DC fans have a lot to look forward to. Just maybe don't hold your breath for The Authority anytime soon.

In a video that has taken Instagram by storm, a cat named Serafino has melted hearts among social media users, thanks to his unexpected vocal talent. Posted on Friday under the username @misterserafino, the now viral clip shows the kitty's owner, 33-year-old Sonia from Italy, singing her cat's name aloud, as the tabby immediately show up at the door. But Serafino doesn't just answer with a typical meow, he lets out a soulful melody that sounds like something straight out of a musical. The heartwarming clip had received over 513,000 views and 56,085 likes at the time of writing, and users across the platform can't cope with the kitty's unique talent. Screenshots of the viral video show Serafino singing as he approaches his owner, Sonia. Screenshots of the viral video show Serafino singing as he approaches his owner, Sonia. @misterserafino, Sonia told Newsweek that the dramatic reaction shared in her now viral clip is something that her kitty often does when she speaks to him in a playful tone. "It actually wasn't something I taught him, it's just his natural behavior. He's always been expressive and playful, and over time we started to reinforce it because it was so cute and funny," she said. "I'm so happy to know that Serafino brings joy to others, not just to us at home. He really is a little star in our lives, and it means a lot to see others enjoy his personality too." One user, Playemily, said: "He's a singer" while Carmelocooper87 added: "You have a little voice that always brings out so much joy! " The 5-year-old kitty was adopted by the poster in October of 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, after she spotted a Facebook post saying he'd been found inside the hood of a car. "Contrary to what people often say on the internet," Sonia said, "I truly believe Serafino is one of the few who actually knows his name and doesn't ignore his owner when called. He always comes when I call him. "Another adorable thing about him is that when he wants to play, he brings his toy to me, just like a little dog would," she added. Indeed, cats are highly intelligent creatures, capable of learning incredible things with the right training. Dr. Ann Hohenhaus, senior veterinarian and director of pet health information at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center, previously told Newsweek that while dogs had to learn how to understand human language out of necessity, cats still appear to understand us despite not needing to. Most dogs were originally bred to work alongside humans, training for tasks such as hunting, herding, and search and rescue, and learning our language made them better at performing these tasks. On the other hand, cats domesticated themselves in order to prey on rodents attracted to our scraps. Yet they still decided to learn how to communicate with us, and according to Hohenhaus, they know between 10 and 20 words on average.
