Ongoing Raids & bulldozing & demolition of homes

Tulkarm - (Saba): The Tulkarm Media Committee stated that Israeli enemy forces are continuing their widespread aggression in the city of Tulkarm and its camp for the 124th consecutive day, and for the 111th day in the Nur Shams camp. This aggression includes ongoing raids, bulldozing, and demolishing homes, pursuing citizens, and obstructing their entry to their homes. The committee added in a statement on Friday that enemy forces have raided several towns in Tulkarm in recent hours, and that occupation soldiers have deployed heavily on the main and side streets, simultaneously obstructing the movement of citizens and vehicles, and firing sound bombs and tear gas at them. The committee noted that enemy bulldozers are continuing their home demolitions in the Nur Shams camp, as part of a plan to demolish 106 residential buildings in Tulkarm, including 48 in the Nur Shams camp. It noted that enemy forces fired live ammunition at citizens and press crews while they were in the wooded area opposite the camp. The city of Tulkarm is witnessing intense activity by Israeli occupation vehicles and infantry units, patrolling the main streets and neighborhoods, sounding their horns in a provocative manner, driving against traffic, and setting up surprise checkpoints, particularly in the center of the market and around the Martyr Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital. The committee explained that, in recent hours, Israeli forces notified residents of 58 buildings in Tulkarm camp of immediate demolition orders, paving the way for their evacuation. These buildings contain more than 250 housing units. The committee added that the Israeli occupation forces have designated only four entrances and exits for the owners of the homes threatened with demolition, giving them a very limited period of time. The committee noted that the Israeli occupation army is seizing homes and residential buildings on Nablus Street and the adjacent northern neighborhood after forcibly evacuating their residents and converting them into military barracks. Some of these buildings have been under Israeli occupation control for more than two months. The ongoing enemy aggression in Tulkarm has resulted in the deaths of 13 civilians, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. Dozens have also been wounded and detained, and the widespread destruction of infrastructure, homes, shops, and vehicles has been a result of demolition, arson, and looting. The enemy's crimes have displaced more than 4,200 families from the two camps, representing over 25,000 citizens. The attacks have also resulted in the complete destruction of more than 400 homes and the partial destruction of 2,573 others. The entrances and alleys of the camps have also been sealed off with earth mounds. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print more of (International)

Russian Foreign Ministry: Israeli attacks are collective punishment of civilians in Gaza

Moscow - Saba: Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov expressed his country's "deep" concern on Thursday over the military escalation and the ongoing airstrikes by the Israeli occupation army on the Gaza Strip. During a press conference, Lavrov stated that "the continuous Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip amount to collective punishment of civilians." He added, "What is happening in Gaza is causing extreme concern in Moscow and is difficult to justify from a humanitarian perspective. There is an urgent need for a ceasefire, immediate protection for civilians, and intensified international efforts to restore calm and facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid," according to the Quds Press Agency. The Israeli enemy army continues to violate the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which came into effect on January 19 of last year and lasted nearly two months after 471 days of genocide. From chapters of " Crime of Genocide": Wave of displacement for over 150,000 Palestinians in Khan Younis

Gaza – Saba: Khan Younis Governorate in the Gaza Strip has witnessed an unprecedented wave of displacement, with over 150,000 Palestinian citizens forced to flee under catastrophic and dire humanitarian conditions. This follows a comprehensive evacuation order issued by the Israeli enemy for Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, demanding that residents immediately relocate to the Al-Mawasi area on the western coast. The Palestinian news agency "WAFA" reported on Thursday evening that since the beginning of the Israeli genocide against the Palestinian people on October 7, 2023, at least 1.9 million citizens—approximately 90% of the population—have been displaced across the Gaza Strip, according to United Nations data. The agency added that many of them have been displaced repeatedly, some as many as 10 times or more. Since the occupation issued its latest evacuation orders, even more citizens have been forced to flee in search of the elusive safety within the Strip. Testimonies from displaced individuals reflect the compounded dimensions of human suffering caused by war, displacement, and blockade. Over nearly 20 months of genocide in Gaza, the Israeli enemy has targeted dozens of shelters, including schools, universities, hospital courtyards, and areas it falsely claimed were "safe," resulting in the martyrdom and injury of thousands of citizens, most of whom were children and women. The number of shelters and displacement centers targeted by the occupation has exceeded 235. The Gaza Strip has been suffering from a catastrophic humanitarian and relief crisis, as well as severe famine, since the occupation closed border crossings on March 2 of this year, preventing the entry of food, medicine, aid, and fuel—while simultaneously escalating the intensity of the genocide it is committing against civilians. Nearly 1.5 million citizens out of approximately 2.4 million in the Strip have been left homeless after their residences were destroyed by the genocidal war.
