DMG Media's Irish-language platform, ExtraG.ie, has been awarded 'Best Use of Irish Language' at the 2025 Media Awards.
Launched as an extension to Extra.ie, ExtraG.ie has rapidly grown into a destination for Irish language news, sport, and entertainment, building a loyal audience and becoming a trusted voice for high-quality, engaging content 'as Gaeilge'. This recognition comes shortly after the successful launch of ExtraG Gach Seachtain, a new weekly print supplement published every Friday and in today's Irish Daily Mail.

In addition to ExtraG.ie's win, EVOKE, another DMG Media brand, earned silver in the fiercely contested 'Media Brand of the Year' category.

Also in the running for the part of Bond villain, are American actor Paul Giamatti at odds of 11/2, as well as Boogeyman star David Dastmalchian 13/2, and a very unusual choice in movie circles, an unlikely contender for the role, actress Zendaya at odds of 7/1.
