Britons Jack Draper and Emma Raducanu to face each other in US Open doubles
The mixed doubles has been moved to before the main tournament with $1m up for grabs

British number ones Jack Draper and Emma Raducanu will face each other in the first round of the revamped US Open mixed doubles.
The mixed doubles has been moved to before the main tournament on August 19 and 20, with one million dollars (£750,000) in prize money at stake for the winners of the 16-pair event.
Draper will play with American Jessica Pegula after their original partners, Paula Badosa and Tommy Paul, both withdrew.
With both inside the top five in the singles rankings, the pair have been handed the top seeding and will kick off their campaign against wild card pair Raducanu and Carlos Alcaraz.
The winners could face 24-time grand slam champion Novak Djokovic and his partner Olga Danilovic if the Serbian pair overcome Mirra Andreeva and Daniil Medvedev.

Venus Williams, at the age of 45, faces Karolina Muchova and Andrey Rublev alongside compatriot Reilly Opelka.

Jake Paul confirms opponent for next fight after Anthony Joshua talks
Jake Paul will step back into the ring later in the year for an exhibition fight against world lightweight champion Gervonta Davis. The social media star has built a professional boxing record of 12-1, with his only defeat coming by split decision to Tommy Fury in 2023. Despite many of his previous bouts coming against MMA fighters or boxers beyond their prime, Paul has been keen to take a huge step up in quality with his next opponent. The American was, remarkably, in talks with former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua over a potential blockbuster fight, but those plans have reportedly been scuppered due to network-related issues. However, Paul has now found a new world-level opponent after it was confirmed that he would take on fellow countryman Davis on Friday 14 November. The fight is set to take place at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia but will be an exhibition, most likely due to the huge size and weight difference between the duo. 'Tank' Davis, who has an unbeaten 30-0-1 professional record, including 28 knockouts, has usually campaigned in the 135lb lightweight division. Paul, meanwhile, weighed in for his last fight – a cruiserweight bout against former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr – at 199.4lbs. Alongside that 65.6lb weight disparity is the height difference, with Paul standing at 6ft 1in compared to Davis's 5ft 5in. The rules for the bout have not been confirmed, but it is expected that both will use larger-than-normal gloves due to the weight and height difference. And despite his vast inexperience compared to Davis, Paul has talked up his chances of causing a shock upset. 'Gervonta who has been disrespecting my name for too long. HIs nickname might be Tank, but I'm an FPV drone and I'm about to disable tiny boy,' he said. 'Yes, he's 1 of the top pound-for-pound boxers in the world, but my motto is anyone, anytime, anyplace, against all odds. And I like my odds. First, I am going to kill David, then I will go on to slaughter Goliath.' Davis last fought in March 2025 when he was fortunate to escape with a majority draw against Lamont Roach Jr. Last month, the 30-year-old was arrested on battery and domestic violence charges after he was alleged to have assaulted his former girlfriend whom he shares two children.
