Blackpink Jennie had earlier filed a lawsuit against a man who had publicly claimed to be the idol's father and had even published a book under the guise of this identity. In recent updates, the idol has won the official lawsuit, as the court shared that the claims made by the unknown man were 'groundless'.
Blackpink's Jennie wins case against a fraudster
Blackpink's Jennie had filed charges against an anonymous man who claimed to be her father and had written a book under that guise. In a recent court ruling, it was shared that the idol has won the lawsuit, with the court ruling in her favour and sharing that the allegations were not true. As per a popular Korean magazine, Women Sense, the Uijeongbu District Court Goyang Branch made the ruling at the beginning of last month.
The court stated regarding the case that 'There is no supporting evidence for the defendant's claim aside from his own statements. Meanwhile, the plaintiff's official family registry clearly identifies another man as her father. It is therefore reasonable to conclude that the defendant's claim is untrue.'
While the court did not impose any kind of punishment in the matter, they ruled that whatever claims were made were false and even put a stop to the circulation of the content.

The court also issued that since the content spread false information and reputational harm, all existing copies of the book need to be destroyed as well.
What had happened?
Previously, a man whose identity has not been revealed was caught publishing books and published work written through AI. In the prologue of the book, he had also shared that he was Jennie's father. A lawsuit was filed by the idol last year, followed by an injunction later on that requested to stop any and all publication from continuing.
Jennie has kept most of her life private and has not publicly mentioned her family members as well.

4 men held in Rajasthan for Rs 26-lakh robbery in Chandni Chowk
New Delhi: Delhi Police arrested four men from Rajasthan in connection with a Rs 26-lakh robbery at a trader's office in Chandni Chowk's Kucha Ghasi Ram on May 31. According to police, around 3pm on May 31, the businessman was alone at his office when two men reached the office, claiming that they had come to collect money. "Once inside, they overpowered him, tied his hands, legs and mouth using khaki-coloured tape and a light yellow rope, searched the office and stole bundles of cash from a cupboard. They then locked the room from outside and fled," DCP (north) Raja Banthia said. A case was registered, and a police team was formed to trace the suspects. "The team analysed footage from nearly 250 CCTV cameras across Chandni Chowk, Red Fort, Dhaula Kuan and Jaipur Highway. The suspects were seen fleeing the crime scene, regrouping at Red Fort and eventually travelling towards Dhaula Kuan, from where they boarded a Rajasthan Roadways bus. The trail led the team to Jaipur, and subsequently to Dhelana village in Amet in Rajsamand district," Banthia said. Police first arrested Kailash (22), who claimed to have confessed and also revealed the identities of his co-accused, Motilal (26), Rajmal alias Raju (44), Mukesh (24) and Kamlesh. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Türk kredi kartı kullanıcıları buna başvurmalı. Police also recovered Rs 18 lakh of the stolen amount and seized clothes worn during the crime. Kamlesh is absconding. Mukesh, who earlier worked for an angadia firm in the same building that transferred valuables and cash, was familiar with the staff at the businessman's office and aware of the cash movement. "In need of money, Mukesh conspired with his friends from Rajsamand. They arrived in Delhi on May 27 and checked into various hotels in Paharganj to avoid suspicion. Over the next few days, they conducted detailed recces of Kucha Ghasi Ram and adjoining areas to plan their strike," an officer said. The accused also revealed how they divided the loot. While Kailash and Kamlesh took Rs 1 lakh each, Motilal and Rajmal got Rs 10 lakh each, and Mukesh received Rs 4 lakh for providing the inside information. Police also learned that the same group previously committed a robbery in Kidwai Nagar in Kanpur, and informed the local police station concerned.

A major success: Naxal husband-wife duo surrender in Chhattisgarh; drove cadre motivation and fresh recruitments
Two senior naxal operatives, a husband-wife duo, involved in the ideological and propaganda machinery of the outlawed CPI , surrendered before security forces in Chhattisgarh on Wednesday, officials confirmed. Jeevan Tulavi, 45, and his wife Agasha, 35, gave themselves up in the Maoist-affected Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki district, around 180 km from state capital Raipur. Both had been active in the rebel ranks for over two decades and held major roles in the Maad division of the organisation. Tulavi, also known as Ram Tulavi, was the divisional committee member (DVCM) and was working as education team commander in Maad division (Abujhmad), a remote, forested stretch known for long-standing Naxal activity. Agasha, alias Aarti Korram, was a key member of the press team and also worked as commander of the Chetna Natya Mandali (CNM), the outfit's cultural wing. The state police had placed a bounty of Rs 8 lakh on Tulavi, who joined the Maoist ranks in 2008 as a military operative in south Rajnandgaon. By 2012, he had shifted to ideological training, working through mobile political schools (MOPOS) to spread Left Wing Extremist (LWE) ideology across villages in Abujhmad. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Free P2,000 GCash eGift UnionBank Credit Card Apply Now Undo His wife, Agasha, originally from Telitola village, was a singer, dancer, poet, orator and a song composer since 2000 and was operating computers and drafting press releases for the LWEs, officials told PTI. The surrender was accepted in the presence of Rajnandgaon range inspector general of police Abhishek Shandilya, superintendent of police Y P Singh, and ITBP 27th Battalion Commandant Vivek Kumar Pandey. Officials hailed the development as a 'major success' in the government's intensified anti-naxalite drive. The region borders Chhattisgarh's Kanker and Maharashtra's Gadchiroli districts — both active naxal zones. The Union government has set a deadline of March 2026 to root out naxal insurgency from the country, under which intensified operations are underway.
