'RHOA's Shamea Morton Shades Brit Eady in Ongoing Feud With Kenya Moore (Exclusive)
Morton brings everything you could want from a real housewife: glamour, wealth (her $9M mansion just about broke the internet when it was featured in the premiere), humor, and plenty of shade. In the premiere episode, she was positioned as the nucleus of the newly configured group.
Parade caught up with Morton shortly after the premiere aired, breaking down everything from how she feels finally earning a peach and her thoughts on the upcoming Kenya Moore drama to the return of Porsha Williams and who within this new cast she is closest to.
🎬 🎬
"I stand firmly on the belief that all it took was just remixing it, bringing out a youthful, more fun vibe, and I think that's what the newbies are delivering," she explains when breaking down this revamped RHOA. "We are bringing the energy and the fun." As we previously reported, Morton joins the series alongside newbies Brit Eady, Kelli Ferrell and Angela Oakley, with returning castmembers Williams, Drew Sidora, Phaedra Parks and Moore all appearing in various capacities.
For some fans, Morton's addition felt a bit random when it was announced, but their tune swiftly changed after the premiere aired, with many referring to her as a "new Shamea." She, however, has a different perspective on this.
Related:
"No one has ever gotten to know the old Shamea," she quips. "The old and new Shamea are the exact same person. I've always been who I am...a big personality, vibrant, bubbly, and as a friend on the show, I never got an opportunity to showcase it. There are times that I would go to events, and I wouldn't even be mic'd!"
"Now that I have a peach, it is very different," she adds. "It's just such an honor to just be here in this space, to be able to just showcase my life in its entirety ... I'm excited and I'm eager to share it with the world, because it's been over a decade that I haven't been able to!"
As for this reworked cast, she calls it a "fresh, organic" cast, likening it to a "sister circle." Of course, Morton is best friends with Williams, so reuniting with her onscreen was a plus. "Any time you get a chance to hang out with your best friend and get paid to do it, hey, sign me up," she tells us, while admitting that there were some bumps in the road for them this season.
"It's had its challenging times, I would be lying if I said it didn't because with any friendship, there are highs, lows, ebbs and flows," she explains. "But, I feel that we do a pretty decent job navigating through it. We'll see."
The elephant in the room this season, of course, is the still unresolved Kenya Moore drama. While we still have to wait a few weeks to watch it all unfold on the show, Moore abruptly stopped filming on RHOA while feuding with newbie Eady, after allegedly unveiling explicit photos of Eady at a filmed event.
Related:
Morton explains that although she was there to watch the event unfold, she has "no idea" how it will play out on the show. "You know, Kenya went too far ... but Brit did some not-so-nice things as well, and I think as the season progresses, you get to see who Brit Eady is and maybe why Kenya felt the need to go so far. You know, for every action, there's a reaction."
"I think that's what happens in this group. You go low and some people just go all the way low, and then it's like this back and forth instead of taking the high road," she adds.
There is plenty more to the season than just the Kenya and Brit of it all, Morton promises us, teasing tension between her and Sidora as well. While the both of them have appeared on the show together in the past, this is the first time they're both peach holders at the same time.
"Drew, you know, she's on her thing, she's been around for a minute and, you know, she's an actress," she quips. "Even when she's supposed to be serious, she's steady acting, you know how that goes. And scene!"
As for the rest of the season, Morton promises plenty for fans to chew on. "It's just different," she says. "Fans are gonna really love it. It's a new wave, a new era, and one that I think everyone can identify with. There is someone on this cast that you will be able to identify with, and you'll grow to love and enjoy."
With one last dose of shade, she adds, "You just don't want to be the Brit Eady ... or maybe even a Drew because she lies a lot, but aside from those two, pick one!"

Vicki Gunvalson Claims She Got Parasite Like Brandi Glanville Filming Ultimate Girls Trip
The more we hear about the unaired Morocco edition of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, the more it sounds like something out of a horror film. Of course, we've all heard about Brandi Glanville's scandalous behavior that tanked the show. However, she also blamed the trip for her facial disfigurement. She believes she contracted a parasite while filming the show, and now Vicki Gunvalson says she may have been bitten by the same bug. Vicki Gunvalson spoke of Brandi Glanville's parasite 'pain' The Real Housewives of Orange County OG recently appeared on SiriusXM's Jeff Lewis Live. During the episode, she explained how she learned she was 'loaded' with parasites. She didn't want to blame Bravo, but she's definitely blaming RHUGT. 'You know, Brandi is in so much pain, I mean she's got a very large parasite,' Vicki said, noting that she's '100%' confident that the Morocco trip caused it. According to Vicki, every single person on the cast got sick from the Morocco trip. Vicki said she has been suffering from gastrointestinal issues since filming, feeling bloated and sluggish. She's only going number two once a week. Even then, she said it comes out like 'pellets,' just in case you needed that mental image. After Dulcolax and Metamucil didn't get things moving for Vicki, she decided to get a colonic. That's where they made the big discovery that a bunch of parasites were whooping it up inside of her belly. Vicki recalled, 'We went to the colonic and she said, 'You have parasites. You are loaded with parasites all in your gut.'' At that point, the colonic provider asked if she traveled internationally. Although Vicki does spend a lot of time in Mexico, her mind immediately went to the ill-fated Morocco trip. She said every time they ate, flies swarmed their food. 'And that show never aired,' Vicki remarked. 'If it would have aired, we would have seen the flies on everything.' So, what's an Orange County girl to do when she's got parasites from Morocco wreaking havoc on her bowels? According to Vicki, she's doing colonics three times a week and taking ivermectin every month. As of now, she's still pooping pellets, so please keep the OG of the OC in your thoughts. The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip is streaming on Peacock, just not the Morocco one. You can also stream it on Hayu in the UK and Ireland. The ladies will also, once again, be joined by friend Britani Bateman. What can fans expect on RHOSLC Season 6? An announcement for the new season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City teases that "the friendships are always on thin ice, and tensions between the women are hotter than ever." Promising to serve "plenty of drama, camp and hijinks," Season 6 sees the ladies traveling around the globe, trading their Sprinter van for an RV; flying first class to Greece; and even sailing the seas with the crew of Below Deck Down Under, including Captain Jason Chambers, Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher, and Chef Ben Robinson. (In a first for both franchises, the trip will also be featured on BDDU Season 4.) The RHOSLC Season 6 first look — which is packed with glimpses of the women navigating serious issues while wearing silly costumes — also provides further insight on what's to come, including allegations encompassing everything from a mystery man to a mistress. Tellingly using the performance of a "Greek tragedy" as its throughline, the sneak peek kicks off with the ladies vacillating between tears and shouting matches as they face secrets, lies, and fears, while hunting for the "truth." First, Mary shares an update on son Robert Cosby Jr.'s post-rehab recovery with Whitney: "He's doing as well as he can be doing. Like, some days he's good, some days he's not." In a confessional, she tearfully adds, "It's his journey, and I know God will work it out." RELATED: Andy Cohen Reveals an Unseen Moment With the RHOSLC Cast at the Las Culturistas Culture Awards Later, tensions unexpectedly arise between new besties Mary and Angie, who insists she is her "sister." As Mary fires back, however, "No, you're not. Find another one, k?" That's not Angie's only friendship battle either: The trailer shows her in more than one expletive-filled dustup with Lisa, who, also goes toe to toe with Bronwyn. Meanwhile, Lisa is experiencing issues in her marriage to John Barlow, to whom she admits, "I feel like we're on different pages." Later, a tarot card reader references them "rebuilding trust," and, elsewhere, Bronwyn and Whitney discuss the couple as well as "a mystery man." Bronwyn is also dealing with family issues involving both husband Todd Bradley, whom she fears "misunderstands" her, as well as her mother, who is "disappointed" in her lifestyle choices. Although it's unclear to whom she's referring, Britani mentions seeing something about a "mistress," before the trailer cuts to Bronwyn asking Mary, "What if I'm wrong? And I'm gonna look like a fool, and he humiliates me?" Finally, following several of her own tearful moments, Meredith tells Heather, "When somebody shows you who they are, you deal with them accordingly." Her statement may have struck a chord with Heather, who fumes at an unseen person, "Walk the f–k away." RHOA's Porsha Williams' Mansion Hit With Lien After Ex-Husband Simon Guobadia's Divorce Debt
At the end of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16, we saw Porsha Williams running a victory lap through the sprawling mansion she used to share with ex-husband, Simon Guobadia. After a lengthy legal battle, she finally got the green light to bring Bravo cameras into the home. Now, that same mansion just got hit with a massive lien over Simon's alleged unpaid debt. We've got the details you need to know and how all of this might impact Porsha's living arrangements. Simon Guobadia is accused of owing his divorce lawyer over $200k, leading to a lien for Porsha Williams As a reminder, Porsha and Simon were married for 15 months before wading into a year-long divorce battle, which saw the RHOA star fighting to enforce their prenup. On June 11, a judge ruled in Porsha's favor, and they enforced the prenup. That granted her possession of the home, along with spousal support. What we didn't know is that the day prior, Simon's lawyer filed a lien against the Georgia home. According to Us Weekly, Simon's divorce lawyer, Onyema Farrey, filed an attorney's lien against the mansion on June 10, 2025. The lien accused Simon of owing $205,884.25 for services provided throughout the divorce proceedings. Meanwhile, Simon claimed in court that he had zero money to his name. He has a company called Simcol, and he said its value went from $296 million to virtually nothing after he was detained by ICE and deported to his home country of Nigeria. A judge said that the claim lacked credibility. So, how does this all impact Porsha? Well, in the divorce docs, Porsha was granted 36 months to either refinance the mortgage on the $7.3 million mansion to remove Simon from the title, or she'll need to sell the home. She'll have to pay Simon half of the equity. The six-figure lien on the house will undoubtedly cause that process to become even more complicated. The Real Housewives of Atlanta is streaming on Peacock along with Hayu in the UK and Ireland. TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THE LATEST DEVELOPMENTS IN PORSHA'S DIVORCE FROM SIMON? DO YOU THINK SHE'LL KEEP THE MANSION OR SELL IT? The post RHOA's Porsha Williams' Mansion Hit With Lien After Ex-Husband Simon Guobadia's Divorce Debt appeared first on Reality Tea.
