Net loss of TVS Supply Chain Solutions reported to Rs 4.76 crore in the quarter ended March 2025 as against net profit of Rs 4.32 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2024. Sales rose 2.99% to Rs 2498.83 crore in the quarter ended March 2025 as against Rs 2426.31 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2024.
For the full year,net loss reported to Rs 13.59 crore in the year ended March 2025 as against net loss of Rs 101.21 crore during the previous year ended March 2024. Sales rose 8.65% to Rs 9995.72 crore in the year ended March 2025 as against Rs 9199.98 crore during the previous year ended March 2024.

Ather Energy Q1 revenue surges 79% to Rs 645 crore, net loss narrows a tad

Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ather Energy reported a 79% year-on-year (YoY) increase in operating revenue to Rs 644.6 crore for the first quarter of Bengaluru-based company's net loss narrowed marginally to Rs 178.2 crore from Rs 182.9 crore a year earlier, even as overall expenses shot up during the quarter. Ather's total expenses for the quarter rose 54.3% YoY to Rs 851.1 crore, primarily on higher material costs. Notably, employee benefit expenses declined 37% to Rs 118.6 crore during the quarter. On May 6, Ather became the first mainboard listing of the current financial year, with its shares debuting at Rs 328 apiece on the NSE, a 2.18% premium over the issue by Tiger Global, the company launched its Rs 2,981 crore public issue between April 28 and 30, after raising Rs 1,340 crore from anchor investors on April 26. The company is currently the fourth-largest electric two-wheeler manufacturer in India, with a 16.3% market share in July, according to data from the Vahan portal. Ather trails TVS Motor, Bajaj Auto, and Ola Electric. The company has been narrowing the gap with Ola Electric, which held a 17.9% share in July, selling 17,852 vehicles. In a recent interaction with ET, Ather's chief business officer, Ravneet Phokela, attributed the company's growing sales to the launch of its family-oriented scooter series, Rizta, which has helped it expand its customer base across new segments and geographies. In comparison with Ather, Ola Electric posted a net loss of Rs 428 crore on revenue of Rs 828 crore for Q1 of FY26. While the company's loss widened 23% year-on-year from Rs 347 crore, it shrank 51% from Rs 870 crore in the previous quarter. Revenue rose 35% sequentially from Rs 611 crore but fell 49.6% YoY.
