McLaren star Oscar Piastri achieved a feat previously accomplished only by Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton.
Piastri won the Belgian Grand Prix after making an amazing overtake on the opening lap to get ahead, and he didn't look back once he got into clean air.
He grew his lead in the Drivers' Championship once again, leading his teammate Lando Norris with only one race left until the summer break.
The Aussie is having a spectacular season and is potentially on the verge of winning a title.

Only Hamilton and Verstappen have scored points in more than 30 races, according to Sundaram R, known as @f1statsguru on X.
The British seven-time champion achieved a streak of 48 from 2018 to 2020 and 33 from 2016 to 2018.
On the other hand, Verstappen went 43 straight races from 2022 to 2024 and 31 races from 2024 to 2025.
Only THREE drivers in F1 history have scored points in 30+ consecutive Grands Prix:
1. Lewis Hamilton - 48 (2018-2020) & 33 (2016-2018)
2. Max Verstappen - 43 (2022-2024) & 31 (2024-2025)
3. Oscar Piastri - 31 (2024-2025)
No one else is even close to joining them currently.

While all three drivers had the fastest car for most of these periods, it took a high skill level to make a difference among other top racers.
Piastri has made significant strides as a driver. He improved his ability to protect his tires while becoming more decisive in his decision-making.
Hamilton and Verstappen both possess similar traits, and these abilities might make the difference in a tight title race.
Jolyon Palmer, in a story for F1.com from June, noted the progress Piastri made and his development into a title contender.
"Oscar also seems to have the calmest head, certainly that I can remember, in Formula 1," Palmer wrote.
"It's still early stages in his career, and we haven't yet seen him under title-deciding pressures – that'll come later this year – but the man is insanely calm with whatever is going on around him.
"Kimi Raikkonen was known as the Iceman in Formula 1, but I've even seen him more animated than Oscar."
"This can only be a strength to be able to stay so composed – I've yet to see him make pressure mistakes and you can't imagine him squandering points due to red mist, as Max Verstappen did on Sunday.
"He's not been perfect this season. But from what I've seen so far, Oscar absolutely has the makeup of a champion, in a season where he's turned his weaknesses into strengths."

Lotus to join show of F1 championship winning cars
A "legendary" Formula 1 team will showcase some of its former world championship winning race cars at a motorsport festival, organisers said. The Silverstone Festival in Northamptonshire, due to be held over the August bank holiday weekend, has announced four cars from the former Norfolk-based Team Lotus will be part of display featuring F1 cars raced by all 34 of the sport's world champions. The showcase is part of a special celebration to mark the 75th anniversary of the Formula 1 World Championship. Nick Wigley, the event's director, said the display was an "ambitious challenge that no one has ever attempted before". He said: "Now, the star-studded collection is not only nearly complete, but it also features an incredible number of title-winning cars. McLaren, Mercedes, Red Bull, and Williams have already confirmed their support for the showcase, contributing title-winning cars driven by illustrious champions including Ayrton Senna, Nigel Mansell, Fernando Alonso, Sir Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen. Team Lotus was founded by Colin Chapman and recorded its first F1 entry in 1958. Based at Hethel, near Norwich, the team counted world champions Jim Clark, Jochen Rindt, Emerson Fittipaldi, and Mario Andretti among its drivers. British driver Clark was intrinsically linked with Team Lotus in its formative years, winning titles in 1963 and 1965 and the "iconic" Lotus 25/R4 in which he won his first crown will join the display, alongside those driven by Rindt, Fittipaldi and Andretti. The festival will also feature performances from Natasha Bedingfield and Craig David presents TS5. The Silverstone Festival runs from 22-24 August. Red Bull Advisor on Max Verstappen's 2025 Championship Bid - 'Impossible'
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Red Bull Racing senior advisor Helmut Marko has admitted that it is "impossible" for Max Verstappen to secure his fifth championship title this year. The four-time world champion is currently placed third in the Drivers' Standings with 187 points. The gap to the championship leader, Oscar Piastri, with 284 points, is 97 points. The 2025 season is being dominated by McLaren, as Red Bull continues to struggle with the RB21 F1 car. Verstappen's team enjoyed a dominant period in the current ground effect era that began in 2022. However, things changed drastically in the second half of the 2024 season, when balance problems on Red Bull's car hindered the team's title challenge. In the current campaign, Red Bull has been unable to solve car problems thus far, with both Verstappen and his teammate Yuki Tsunoda struggling considerably. Last weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix saw Verstappen start from eighth, but he ended up crossing the finish line in P9. Tsunoda, who started from the pit lane due to an engine penalty, finished in P17. He told the media: "It's impossible, clearly." McLaren's Lando Norris won the Hungarian GP by opting for a one-stop strategy. Considering the difficulty in overtaking, Marko said that Red Bull should have opted for a similar strategy, as opposed to the two-stop strategy that backfired for Verstappen. The 82-year-old advisor said: "[Red Bull's performance was] inferior, but I think one stop would have been better, because overtaking was really difficult. "So maybe sixth or fifth [was possible], but the speed, which was funny, two or three laps, [Verstappen] was doing the same laps like the leaders, 1:19.5, but we believe we know what went wrong." "The first stops, the tyres were gone, and the second stop, we thought we could overtake. But as we saw for a couple of laps, yes, the speed was there, but then it was over." Toto Wolff Spotted in Ferrari Paddock Amid Lewis Hamilton Uncertainty
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff was spotted leaving the Ferrari hospitality at the Hungarian Grand Prix, sparking speculation about Lewis Hamilton's future. After another disappointing race weekend, Hamilton appeared down while speaking with the media on Saturday and Sunday. He finished 12th in Hungary, the same position he started in, failing to get into Q3. "It's just me every time. I am useless. Absolutely useless," the seven-time champion told the media after qualifying. Photo by"The team has no problem. You can see the car is on pole [with Leclerc]. They probably need to change driver." Hamilton is notorious for being harsh on himself when things go wrong, but he seemed more upset than usual. He didn't seem to feel any better after the race. "There's a lot going on in the background that is not... great, so...," Hamilton added. "I'm looking forward to coming back," he said. "Hopefully, I'll be back, yeah." These remarks caused fans online to speculate about Hamilton's future. Could Ferrari actually make a driver change? Will Hamilton walk away from the sport altogether? There are no concrete reports or indications that this is the case, with Hamilton being backed by boss Fred Vasseur and chairman John Elkann. Adding fuel to the fire, Wolff was spotted in the Ferrari hospitality area talking with Vasseur and Elkann. Something is brewing in the paddock... — Cytrus 🍋 (@cytrusf1) August 3, 2025 Given Hamilton's comments and Wolff's belief in the driver, some believe a mid-season swap back to Mercedes could happen. In reality, these executives could have been meeting about anything - there is no shortage of topics to talk about. Both teams are engine suppliers who are preparing for the massive 2026 regulations and likely were discussing details about refining the rules. Hamilton is all but sure to stay at Ferrari, considering the motivation that all parties still have, but if he continues to struggle, a drastic change could be on the horizon. The British driver made his move to Ferrari over the offseason with a ton of fanfare and hype. One of the greatest drivers ever was joining the most storied team on the grid as Hamilton pursues his elusive eighth Drivers' Championship. This season, he is in sixth place with 109 points. He is 175 points behind McLaren's Oscar Piastri in the title race. Ferrari, somehow, are second in the Constructors' standings, 24 points above Mercedes, though they are almost 300 points behind McLaren. For more F1 news, head on over to Newsweek Sports.
