Ireland legend Brian O'Driscoll found himself caught up in the midst of a furious Michael Cheika rant in the Gallagher Premiership final.
Bath faced Leicester Tigers in English rugby's showpiece event at the Allianz Stadium on Saturday afternoon, and Tigers boss Cheika was not happy with the officiating before half time. The clock was in the red with his side trailing by three points when he could be seen ranting and raving on the touchline. He initially headed down to one of his staff members to escort him away from speaking with a match official.

After that, Cheika was visibly incensed and spoke with venom as he watched the game unfold. As he made his way back to the stands, the Australian could be seen approaching TNT Sports pundit O'Driscoll before walking off.

The Irishman did not respond, simply smiling as Cheika walked off.
The TNT Sports commentary team were surprised by Cheika's reaction.
"Michael Cheika is absolutely raging," began commentator Alastair Eykyn.

It was heartbreak for Wales internationals Tommy Reffell and Nicky Smith, who were on the losing Tigers side in the English capital as the game finished 23-21. The duo have been selected for the upcoming Wales squad set to tour Japan next month.
Cheika joined Tigers on a one year deal in 2024, and while many fans may have hoped he would sign a new deal after a solid season in the English top flight, that isn't how it's played out.

The former Argentina head coach, who has also been touted as a candidate for the Wales head coach role, said he wanted to return home to Australia to prioritise his family in Sydney.
In May, it was confirmed that former England international Geoff Parling would be replacing Cheika as head coach of Tigers.
He's currently in an assistant role with Australia ahead of the British and Irish Lions tour this summer, but will join up with the club when his contract ends.

Pictured: Bath's celebrations prove that rugby union still has characters

There is a perception that rugby union no longer has the characters of yesteryear, stifled by the advent of professionalism. It is fair to say that Bath 's players, and owner, sought to put that notion to bed on a raucous Sunday night in the West Country. This was a celebration featuring budgie smugglers, wadges of £20 notes and copious amounts of alcohol, and it was very well deserved. It had been 29 years since Bath had last been English domestic champions but they ended that dismal run with a 23-21 victory over Leicester Tigers at Allianz Stadium on Saturday, putting the seal on one of the all-time great seasons. The Gallagher Premiership victory completed a treble, with the Premiership Rugby Cup and European Challenge Cup already in the trophy cabinet. And, with the silverware secure, Bath were determined to party in style – and they did, with a couple of well-known figures to the fore. Barbeary puts it all on show It is difficult to start with anyone other than Alfie Barbeary. The former Wasp is clearly not short on confidence, and having been at the centre of celebrations at Twickenham on Saturday he continued in similar fashion on Sunday. The Bath-branded budgie smugglers may be the stocking filler fans did not know they needed, but it feels particularly unusual to have paired the swimwear with white socks and smart black shoes. Everyone – including team-mate Tom de Glanville and assorted fans – wanted pictures taken with Barbeary, and frankly who can blame them? Russell gets his payment direct from Craig Fly-half Finn Russell is believed to earn £1 million a year, but no-one in Bath would argue he is not worth every penny after his display in Saturday's final. That would no doubt include owner Bruce Craig, who finally got his hands on the reward he deserved after years of bankrolling Bath without winning major trophies. And the money men did not seem short of cash on Sunday afternoon, with Russell happily waving around a wadge of £20 notes in front of Craig on the bus around town. Either way, it certainly seemed money well spent. Obano gets stuck in Along with high spirits there were alcoholic spirits on show, with prop Beno Obano holding what appeared to be a nearly finished bottle of cognac on the pitch at the Recreation Ground during the celebrations. No wonder he was celebrating; Obano was sent-off in last year's Premiership final, though that nightmare has now been exorcised. Bath comes alive Is there a more picturesque city in England for a victory parade than Bath? Probably not, particularly on a gorgeous sunny day with thousands on the streets. The open-top bus parade looked quite the picture, with captain Ben Spencer and Johann van Graan, the head coach, leading the well-deserved celebrations that showed Bath's characters off to the full.

Speaking to BBC Sport Wales, Clayton said: "All the talk is about the two Lukes, but I'm sure me and Gez can do something about that," said Clayton. "Gezzy is a great front runner and I think I'm a pretty good number two, so we click as a team. "Hopefully we will do some damage this year. If we can lift that trophy for a third time it'd be great." 12th Jun 2025, 17:20 By Laurence Ryan Darts Dollars Should Littler and Humphries go all the way, they will receive a huge pot of prize money. And they'll be determined to retain England's title from last year's 10-6 win against Austria. By Laurence Ryan Welcome to SunSport's coverage of the World Cup of Darts Darts lovers will have something to cheer about over the next four days as the World Cup of Darts gets underway today - and we'll be all over it! The men's England football team failed to bring it home during the Euro 2024, but Luke Humphries and Michael Smith made the nation proud in last year's World Cup of Darts. A combination of composure and superb throwing saw Cool Hand and Bully Boy beat their Austrian opponents 10-6 in an epic final. And it was a result that wrote England's name in the history books as they now hold the record for the most amount of wins in the iconic competition with five. Sadly for Smith, his world ranking positioning means he will miss out on the chance to retain back-to-back titles. However, he has a more than capable replacement of 2024 Premier League winner and teen millionaire, Luke Littler. Welsh stars Jonny Clayton and Gerwyn Price will pose a huge threat to England's title, and Gary Anderson and Peter Wright should also fancy themselves. But as for the Netherlands, they have suffered a massive blow to their chances with Michael van Gerwen pulling out of all upcoming tournaments due to his split with wife Daphne.
