HAVING been to more than 50 countries in the past decade, I've learned a thing or two about packing.
And one of those is finding the right bag, especially when trying to pack light.

My go to is the Longchamp Le Pliage bag, a canvas shoulder bag that folds down - and it's suddenly become trendy again.
The bag first launched back in 1993, with the word "pliage" meaning "to fold" in French.
But not only was it trending on TikTok last year, but a number of fashion experts have named it the top "it" bag for 2025.
Lifestyle website Purewow wrote: "It could be credited to the current '90s/Y2K revival or to a post-pandemic craving for practical-yet-chic wardrobe staples.
"But whatever the reason, Longchamp Le Pliage designs have been popping up literally everywhere I look - my Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest feeds, on the arms of fellow fashion editors and influencers at industry events, [even] slung on the shoulders of women of all ages."
And Realsimple wrote: "The tote was everywhere back in the day, and it's becoming majorly trendy again."
Last year, the bag was John Lewis' bestseller, which kept selling out on the website.
Famous faces including Jennifer Lopez, Kendall Jenner and Katie Holmes have all been spotted with the bag before.
Even royalty have loved them, with Kate Middleton toting one during her university graduation in 2005 as well as during a number of her travels.
But when it comes to being used as a travel bag, it ticks all of the boxes.
The Sun's Travel Editor Lisa Minot shares her expert packing tips
Made of canvas, it is easy to wipe clean even when drinks and food are spilled on it.
And depending what size you go for, I've managed to pack enough in it for a weekend break to Europe to avoid the strict Ryanair fees.
It fits in a remarkable amount, being a 'Mary Poppins' bag of size.
Mine is still going strong after years of heavy duty use too, thanks the leather handles.
It does come with a cost, being around £110 on most websites.
The durability justifies the steep price, but if you do want a dupe then Amazon has some very highly rated options.
One is the GM Likkie Shoulder Tote, which is less than £8 and has more than 800 reviews, most of which are five stars.
One wrote: "Great dupe for the Longchamp, love the mesh pocket at the top and it's fully waterproof!"
Another wrote: "This is a great dupe for the Longchamp Le Pliage bag. It's easily foldable for travel and the material feels durable."

The Love Island "superfan" dad has cautioned his 22-year-old daughter against getting intimate in the villa despite her excitement to join the show. ‌ Shakira, who is set to be one of the glamorous singles looking for romance in the renowned villa, has an Instagram filled with snapshots from opulent holidays in Turkey, Dubai, and Mexico. ‌ Yet, her father's words might just rein in any plans for too much friskiness under the Majorcan sun. Discussing her participation in the reality series, Shakir, who works in Marketing, expressed: "I've had to keep it quiet so I think a lot of my friends will be shocked but super, super excited.", reports OK!. The Burnley beauty said: "My family are over the moon and my dad is a Love Island superfan. He's watched every season and he's said 'don't have sex on TV' so definitely not. "Sex after eight weeks is a no go. She explained: "I won't go hunting for the drama but if someone wants to pick a fight with me then they are going to get a response. "I'm definitely a girls girl so if you're one of my close girls everything is off limits so it's like I won't speak to your fella and I've got your back through everything. Justin Bieber shares video with Chris Brown as his posting spree sparks concern

After Justin Bieber shared an Instagram post with a cryptic caption about 'transactional relationships', some of his fans urged him to seek help as they expressed concern for him Justin Bieber's fans have expressed their concern for the singer after he admitted that he is "tired of transactional relationships" in a new post on social media. The Baby singer shared a series of statements on Instagram today, including a cryptic caption alongside two black-and-white selfies. He wrote: "Tired of transactional relationships. If I have to do something to be loved, that's not love." Amid his posting spree on Instagram, the Peaches hitmaker also shared a video of controversial singer Chris Brown. ‌ In the footage shared on Justin's Instagram Stories, Chris can be seen dancing and randomly yelling. Brown, who was released from a UK prison on bail last month, is set to perform in Amsterdam this evening. Justin captioned the video of Brown with the word "mood". ‌ The father-of-one, who shares little Jack Blues with his wife Hailey Bieber, also seemed to reflect on his emotional exhaustion in an additional post - and many of his followers took to the comment section to express concern. "Someone needs to do a wellness check. He is NOT OK," one wrote. Someone else described Justin as "the Britney Spears of our generation" while a fan assured him: "You are loved by us, the real beliebers." One more urged Justin to "get help" saying: "Bro stop posting and get help I'm serious." One reflected: "Love is transactional, that's the point, that's real love. Love is not supposed to be unconditional, unless it's your child. You can't love someone who doesn't give you anything to love them for. This post sounds like it's coming from a 20-year-old, not from someone who is in their 30s with a wife and kid." A fan added: "Your son loves you unconditionally. He doesn't know you're THE Justin Bieber! He just knows you as Dad, and for him that's enough!" Someone else defended Justin by saying: "To the people in the comments being negative: Justin has been venting and sharing his feelings on his social media for years now. ‌ "It's really honorable to see a person of his caliber be so open with his thoughts. It takes a strong person to admit to the world that some days are harder than others. Stop shaming him for sharing. He's a raw and vulnerable human who goes through the motions like the rest of us. Let him share and be real. It makes him admirable." Sharing more reflections on his Instagram Stories, Justin also addressed the pressure he has felt during his careers when he was urged to work harder. He said: "I don't think any of us can handle hearing, 'You just gotta try a little harder and you will be like me.' It's not true. I listened to those fools who told me to work harder. And there's no end to trying to earn ur spot in this life because I tried." He added: "U have everything u need right now." ‌ In another recent post, he wrote: "U could point at my flaws. Or u could recognize ur own lil b****," before adding a red droplet emoji. But this admission also caused concern among fans as one said: "So hard and sad to watch. Why are the people around him not helping him when he's clearly struggling. He's not clear at all and hurting." Some of his followers have also urged Justin to take a break from social media due to his lengthy rants. In an Instagram post this week, over a pink background, he shared with his followers: "Telling other humans they deserve something is like raising someone else's kids. Who are you to tell someone what someone should or shouldn't have. "The audacity. That's not your place. God decides what we deserve." One fan commented: "God told me you need a social media break," - and over 21,000 people liked the comment.

Primark is one of the best-loved brands on the high street, and is constantly wowing us with its stylish but affordable fashion. From cute dresses to on-trend work attire, the supermarket fast-fashion range always hits the mark, and its new summer collection is no exception. Posting to their TikTok account, Primark recently shared a clip of a brand its new jelly tote bag being carried by a fashion fan on a pebble beach. "Packed up and beach ready", Primark said. The stylish silver bag is large enough to fit in all your summer essentials, such as a towel and sun cream. It's made from a waterproof material, so it will keep your belongings dry, and its super lightweight. Plus, the bag is just £10, so is perfect for penny pinchers. Primark said: "Add a playful twist to your everyday look with this jelly tote bag. "Made from a flexible, wipe-clean material, it's lightweight yet roomy enough to carry your essentials with ease. "Whether you're heading to the beach, the shops or just out and about, this bag brings a hint of fun to your outfit." The lightweight bag is available in store, or via click and collect on the Primark website. And it's already proving popular with fashion fans. Why Primark is great for looking expensive on a budget By Clemmie Feildsend, Fabulous Fashion Editor AS someone who's no stranger to grabbing a last-minute outfit from Primark for a night out, it's about time that celebrities started catching on too. For as long as I've been heading out, Primark has been my go-to for those 'I have nothing to wear' moments, rushing in at the last minute to find something perfect. And I'm definitely not alone - on any Friday or Saturday night, you'll find plenty of shoppers doing the same thing, right before closing time. But no matter what, Primark always delivers. Now, Rita Ora is leading the charge, showing that you can snag a designer-worthy look without spending a fortune at high-end stores. While Rita's not rushing in last minute for a red carpet outfit, she's proving you can achieve the same high-impact style for much less. Looking stunning in her tailored suit alongside her mum Vera, Rita fit right in among the other A-listers dripping in Prada, Dior, and Victoria Beckham - if anything, she looked even better than some of the guests at The Fashion Awards. With Myleene Klass and Roxy Horner already jumping on the Primark bandwagon, I'm sure more stars will be following suit soon enough. Commenting under the TikTok video, one person beamed: "The sparkles!" Another said: "Love!" Shoppers have also been raving about Primark's new statement beaded bags. Not only are there two colourful patterns to choose from, but it's super stylish and will make the perfect holiday accessory. Not only are there two colourful patterns to choose from, but it's super stylish and will make the perfect holiday accessory. Some savvy fashion fans noticed that the bag, which went viral in a leopard and cherry print last year, is a dupe for an £88 version in Anthropologie and £285 one in Staud.
