Terence Crawford shares dinner with Turki Alalshikh and Canelo Alvarez
Crawford compared the bout to one of boxing's biggest and said: "Over the last 20 years I can definitely say it's up there."
UFC boss Dana White enters the boxing space to promote the fight and Netflix will broadcast.
They debuted in boxing in November when over 100 MILLION watched Jake Paul beat 58-year-old Mike Tyson - causing the stream to crash.
But Crawford - a three-weight world champ with 41 straight wins - says he and 67-fight icon Canelo are the real stars of the show.

He said: "Me and Canelo is the talent without me and Canelo this wouldn't be happening.
"So me and Canelo are definitely making this event as massive as possible given the work and body of work that he's put in the sport the body of work that I've put in the sport.
"The accomplishments that he has, the accomplishments that I have in the sport.
"So when you look at it, we did this together with the work that he did and the work that I did."

The mutual respect extended to a dinner together with Saudi boxing supremo Turki Alalshikh - a day before their Riyadh launch press conference.
But Crawford promised to leave a bad taste in the ring as he said: "I don't need no dislike to fight Canelo.
"I don't need to hate him, I don't need to dislike him. But come fight night, the dislike and the hatred will be there."
Canelo has won titles in four divisions and remains the sport's biggest draw after 20 years as a professional when he started aged 15.
Crawford meanwhile defends his prized undefeated record at the Las Vegas Raiders' £1BILLION, 65,000-seat stadium.
And he dubbed it the most important fight of his life as he looks to replicate the same success he achieved at 140lb and 147lb.
He said: "Everything is up for grabs. Three-time undisputed, three different weight classes, going up two weight divisions.
"Undefeated in the 168 division in Canelo Alvarez. Another all-time great, Hall of Famer in Canelo Alvarez. Everything is on the line in this fight."
Canelo won back his undisputed throne at 168lb in May with a laboured win over Cuban William Scull, 32, in Saudi.
He faced off afterwards with Crawford, 37, who is yet to return since winning the 154 WBA belt last August against Israil Madrimov, 30.
And the Omaha hero - who has a street named after him in Nebraska - warned the pressure is shared between the superstar pair.
He said: "We both wanna win. I don't see why it's less pressure on me. I wanna win, I don't wanna lose! I'm not gonna lose.
"I want to become undisputed in three weight classes."

Glastonbury mystery performer ‘gives away' appearance with arrival in the UK

Glastonbury fever is reaching new heights after a rock icon was spotted in London just days before the legendary festival kicks off. Fans are convinced a surprise appearance is on the cards from the Foo Fighters frontman, Dave Grohl, 56. The iconic musican was seen backstage at the Yeah Yeah Yeahs gig at the Royal Albert Hall, where he posed for a photo with American singer Amanda Palmer. The image quickly made the rounds on social media, with Palmer sharing the snap and gushing: 'Not who I expected to run into backstage… but look, it's Dave Grohl. We shared a sweet conversation mostly singing the cosmic praises of Melissa auf der Maur.' Reddit detectives were quick to connect the dots and speculation exploded about Grohl appearing at Worthy Farm as a mystery guest. In 2023, Grohl and the Foo Fighters stunned the crowd with a surprise set under the alias The Churn Ups, marking their first Glasto performance since headlining in 2017 — and their first major UK gig since the tragic passing of drummer Taylor Hawkins in 2022. Now, fans believe Grohl might pop up again. One Redditer wrote: 'Dave Grohl is in London, likely will be at the festival. Has done bits with John Fogerty in the past and other acts. Surely will be popping up at places this year?' More Trending Another speculated a touching tribute might be in store: 'Drumming for Alanis Morissette possibly? Tribute for Taylor Hawkins?' Another wrote: '100% he will be milling about – I'd say a couple of guest appearances are a safe bet. Maybe Alanis for a song or Neil Young for an encore' It wouldn't be far-fetched as Alanis Morissette, set to perform on the Pyramid Stage at 6:15pm on the 27th, was closely linked to Hawkins as he played drums for her before joining the Foo Fighters in 1997. This year's lineup includes The 1975, Olivia Rodrigo, Charli XCX, Doechii, and more — but if Dave Grohl shows up, expect an iconic Glastonbury moment that fans will be talking about for years. The group fronted by the former Wales captain are understood to have sent a letter of intent to current Bluebirds owner Vincent Tan last month, outlining their eagerness to buy the club. Join the Cardiff City breaking news and top stories WhatsApp community ‌ It's understood Cardiff bosses are not currently expecting a renewed offer for the club, although things could change. Current owner Vincent Tan has pledged his commitment to the Bluebirds going forward but has always said he would consider offers at the right price. Cardiff-born Bale ended his playing career in January 2023, shortly after captaining Wales at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. He never played for his hometown club, despite them being touted as a possible destination when he left Real Madrid. Should he complete a deal, Bale would become the latest big name to enter the world of football ownership. Close pal and former Real Madrid team-mate Luka Modric has already taken a minority stake in Cardiff's bitter rivals Swansea City recently. ‌ Indeed, it's understood the Croatian actually sought the advice of Bale before making the move. Other notable celebrities to get involved with EFL clubs include NFL legend Tom Brady, who became Birmingham City's minority owner in August 2023. Jack Draper taking nothing for granted despite ‘huge step' into top four

Draper ensured he will be the fourth seed at SW19 after reaching the semi-finals at Queen's Club for the first time. The British number one battled past American Brandon Nakashima 6-4 5-7 6-4 on the Andy Murray Arena. Draper is now two wins away from becoming only the second home men's singles winner in the Open era – after the man in whose honour the court is named. YEEESSSS!! @jackdraper0 is a semi-finalist at the #HSBCChampionships for the first time ❤️‍🔥#BackTheBrits 🇬🇧 | @QueensTennis — LTA (@the_LTA) June 20, 2025 But more importantly, Draper has moved above Novak Djokovic and Taylor Fritz in the world rankings to a career-high of four. That means at Wimbledon, the 23-year-old can avoid Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, the world numbers one and two respectively, until the semi-finals. 'I've got to get to the semis first,' he smiled, before adding: 'I think it's a definite huge step for me. 'I remember last year going in ranked around 30 or 40. To be inside the top four one year around, that's massive progress, a testament to my team, the dedication I have had for tennis, the work I have put in on a daily basis. 'You know, I live and breathe the sport, and I'm obsessed with progressing and obsessed with becoming the player that I want to become all the time and achieve the things I want to. 'It's another step in the right direction. At Wimbledon, regardless of seeding, each match is very difficult, because obviously you've got loads of top players in the draw, a bit like this week. 'But it gives me confidence knowing I'm in that position and I'm going to be in the right place for that.' In the semi-finals Draper will face Czech world number 30 Jiri Lehecka, who ended Jacob Fearnley's promising debut run. The British number two looked heavy-legged in an error-strewn 7-5 6-2 defeat. Fearnley was scheduled to play the opening match despite a gruelling three-setter against Corentin Moutet the day before, followed by a win in the doubles – alongside Cameron Norrie – over Lehecka and Fritz. 'Obviously if I'd known I was going to be put on first the day after playing a long match in 32 degrees and playing another doubles match late at night, then I probably wouldn't have played doubles,' he said. 'It's just difficult to predict those things sometimes. It's just about being smart about it, really.' Top seed, top form 🥇@QueensTennis | #HSBCChampionships | @carlosalcaraz — ATP Tour (@atptour) June 20, 2025 Top seed Alcaraz eased through to the other semi-final after beating Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech 7-5 6-4. Alcaraz, who spent almost three and a half hours on court on Thursday beating fellow Spaniard Jaume Munar, said: 'I could feel better but honestly I thought I would be feeling worse than I am right now. 'But as tennis players we have to do what we have to do and that's to recover and play the next day. I am glad today was one hour and 20 minutes.'
