THIS is the moment a police dog sank its teeth into a squealing thug after he attacked a woman in the street.
Leslie Sedgewick followed the lone woman before ambushing her from behind as she walked to work in Middlesbrough.

The 44-year-old then punched and kicked her to the ground before stealing her mobile during the attack.
She managed to flee the horror and alert police after suffering a suspected broken nose and a chipped tooth.
Footage shows PC Lee Whitehouse arrive on the scene with police dog Kira following the December 20 robbery.
The cop told Sedgewick to stop but he instead fled to nearby garages where he was tackled by PD Kira.
Bodycam shows the thug squealing in terror as the dog keeps a grip on his arm.
At one point, he pathetically squeals: "I'm sorry!"
Police later discovered Sedgwick had changed his clothes and dumped the woman's stolen items at a house nearby.
He has now been jailed for four years and five months after he pleaded guilty to robbery.
The victim told Teesside Crown Court how she had to hide her horror injuries from her child "so she didn't see and ask what had happened to me".
She also revealed she was "petrified" during the attack and did not know if she was "going to die".
The woman added: "I am constantly in fear that I don't know who is around me or what they are capable of doing."
Detective Constable Pierce Ditchburn said: "This was a terrifying attack on a lone woman early in the morning, just a few days before Christmas.
"Leslie Sedgewick targeted the woman for her mobile phone and has been attempting to steal a bike in the moments leading up to this attack.
"No one should ever have to be afraid to go anywhere alone.
"I'm pleased that Sedgewick is now behind bars, and hope that this justice can help provide some comfort to the victim in this case."

It comes as her barrister Mark McDonald says Letby has got "new hope" of eventually being acquitted. He has sensationally claimed senior medics targeted his client in revenge for her whistleblowing. He told the Daily Mail: "Lucy was a hard working, experienced nurse who loved her job and would never harm any child which is why she would not let any fault pass. "This was a neonatal unit in crisis and she consistently formally reported issues. "She was a whistleblower – but instead of listening to her they went for her instead." Calls have continued to grow in recent months for a potential re-trial - with many experts claiming the ex-nurse was a victim of a miscarriage of justice. These have ramped up in recent weeks following ITV's Lucy Letby: Beyond Reasonable Doubt? and a BBC Panorama episode which both explored potential flaws in the case against Letby. The juries at her two trials reached their verdicts despite the absence of any forensic or CCTV evidence and lack of convincing motive. A panel of 14 international experts said earlier this year her convictions were "unsafe" - and that the babies collapsed or died due to either poor health or natural causes. Letby was removed from duties at the request of a senior doctor before a police investigation was launched and she was arrested in 2018. The Datix Admin and Management Forms cover multiple medical emergencies in the unit in 2015 and 2016. A group then investigated Letby's complaints - which included Dr Stephen Breary, who was one of two doctors who would later raise questions about whether she was "purposely harming babies". She reported an incident on June 30 2016 from the previous week when a baby suffered a "sudden acute collapse requiring resuscitation" with staff finding that the sodium bicarbonate infusion required to deal with the crisis not available, reports the Mail. The investigating group recommended new measures to ensure levels of stock were adequate. However, Dr Breary later amended the report to state the resources Letby mentioned were not necessary to deal with the incident and not "routinely kept on the unit". Letby filed another complaint another report, also in June 2016, in relation to intravenous medication - with Dr Breary's group concluding nurses should check equipment "on an hourly basis" and that Dr Breary himself would "update new doctors at induction". At his request, Letby was then removed from her duties. An earlier report from the nurse was made about the unexpected death of a baby in August 2015, which it was concluded "neonatal care was appropriate... it is unlikely any changes in management would have prevented this sad outcome". Speaking to The Times, Mr McDonald said he visits Letby once a week or every two weeks and she is "in a very different place today than what she was 12 months ago". He said she was left a "broken person" after her trials, which were followed by two failed appeals to the Court of a Appeal. "Today, after everything that has happened in the last 12 months, she's got new hope," he said. Earlier this year, Mr McDonald and his team - which took over to represent Letby following her convictions - submitted an appeal to the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC), an independent body that assesses potential miscarriages of justice. Any such appeal would means Mr McDonald having to submit new evidence, which could include Letby's formal complaints. The Thirlwall Inquiry, which explored events at the hospital surrounding the baby deaths, is due to release its full findings early next year. Liverpool fan arrested after Antoine Semenyo 'racially abused' at Anfield
A Liverpool fan has been arrested after Antoine Semenyo reported being racially abused as he took a throw-in at Anfield. A 47-year-old man from Liverpool has been arrested on suspicion of a racially-aggravated public order offence after a fan was seen being ejected from the stadium on Friday. He has now been taken into custody to be interviewed, police said. Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo reported being racially abused by a spectator, match referee Anthony Taylor stopped play in the 29th minute during the opening Premier League fixture of the season, and a 47-year-old man was ejected from the stadium. Manhunt after woman in 20s killed outside east London care home
Police have launched a murder investigation after a young woman was found dead in east London. The woman, in her 20s, was found suffering critical injuries after reports of an 'assault' in Chadwell Heath at 5.30am. Paramedics fought to save the woman but she sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Although formal identification has yet to take place, officers believe the victim was in her twenties. Police say a post-mortem examination is being held to determine the nature of her injuries. Her family have been informed of the death and are being supported by family liaison officers. No arrests have yet been made at this early stage in the investigation. Detective Superintendent Brian Hobbs said: 'Our thoughts today are with the victim's family and friends in light of this truly tragic event. 'Local residents will see an increased number of officers in and around the area while our investigative work is carried out. I want to thank residents for their patience while this continues. I would ask anyone who was in the area of Romford, who may have seen or heard anything suspicious, to come forward to us.'
