LINDSEY VONN has led tributes to Margot Simond after she tragically died in a horror accident.
The teenage skier passed away following a training accident in which she suffered a fall on the slopes.

Simond, 18, had been preparing for the Red Bull Alpine event in Val d'Isère, France, on Thursday when tragedy struck.
Her death was confirmed by the International Ski and Snowboard Federation in a statement.
It read: "The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) has learned with great sadness of the tragic passing of Margot Simond, a promising young athlete from the Savoie Ski Committee and the Club des Sports des Saisies, who died on April 24, 2025, in Val d'Isère.
"Our thoughts are with the French Ski Federation, the Savoie Ski Committee, the Club des Sports des Saisies, and the entire ski community, who are deeply affected by the loss of Margot.

"FIS extends its heartfelt condolences to Margot's family and loved ones and offers its full support in this incredibly difficult time."
Olympic star Vonn, 40, led tributes for the former under-18 slalom champion.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote: "Sincere condolences to the family."
World Cup skier Mikaela Shiffrin also offered her condolences on social media.
