Denise Richards' estranged husband accuses her of having an affair

Perth Now19-07-2025
Denise Richards' estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, has alleged that she had an affair and claims to have text messages to support it.
The 52-year-old actor — who filed for divorce from the 54-year-old actress on July 7 — has been accused of physical abuse by his estranged wife. However, Aaron insists that "any suggestion of abuse is categorically untrue."
He has now explained the events that led him to file for divorce after nine years of marriage to the former Bond girl, including claims that she stole and broke his phone.
In an interview with TMZ, he recounted: "It's smashed to pieces. Unrecognisable. It's gone. I went over to her and was like, 'You broke my effing phone? Why? Why did you do that?'"
Aaron says Denise denied taking or breaking his phone.
He said: "So, that's what started it. That was July 4.
It was July 5 when I found the phone."
Aaron claims she took his phone because it contained evidence of her alleged affair.
He said: "They were texting back and forth, and I caught it.
Her and I were watching that show Traitors on the sofa ... and she fell asleep, and I just had this feeling.
I have her passcode for her stuff, and I'm going through it. I go into deleted, and I see some text messages that are super inappropriate. I'm like, 'What the hell?'"
He continued: "She wakes up, and I go, 'Why are you doing this?'
And she goes, 'Oh my God, please don't leave me, please don't leave me.'
I'm like, whatever. She says, 'I'm so sorry. I won't do that again.'"
Aaron says this occurred in February and claims he wasn't invited to her birthday on February 17. According to him, she planned to meet the man on March 20 — the day after his own birthday on March 19.
He said: "So I see all the stuff going on, and I am just crushed, man. Nine years. With vows."
Aaron claims Denise gave him permission to access her "stuff" after he "caught her the first time" because she wanted to "rebuild trust."
He said: "I opened her computer and I hit refresh — or sync, or whatever — the iCloud thing, and it repopulated all the texts and communications she had deleted from her stuff.
And it was jaw-dropping.
And I took pictures of it, because I'm like, what the hell is going on here?"
Aaron said Denise begged him not to leave her and continued communicating with the man even while he was consoling her after her reconstructive surgery in May. Her smashing his phone, he says, was "the last straw."
He said: "Oh my God, yeah. For her to yell at me, 'I don't have your phone!!!'
The fact that you're saying that disgusts me.
I'm like, 'Who are you?'"
Addressing how Denise got a black eye, he told the outlet: "I did not hit my wife in the face. Ever. I grabbed and restrained her."
He added: "She falls down a lot, and it's embarrassing, and people know it ... it's scary."
Aaron says Denise's abuse allegations have "put me in grave danger," but insists he still loves her and wants her to "get help."
He said: "She needs help. I love her. I want her to get help.
The fact that she put this thing with me beating her — I am devastated.
I am heartbroken.
I didn't want this, and I want her to work it out.
But she's got to get help.
It's not for me now; it's for herself and her daughters."
He concluded: "She needs to get help, she's got to get cleaned up, and be responsible and own what she's doing — 'cause that's it."
Denise has been granted a temporary restraining order against Aaron after she accused him of physically abusing her.
On July 4, Denise alleged her spouse "repeatedly got within two inches of [her] face and screamed ... degrading profanities, including calling me a '**** w****' and a 'piece of s***.' Aaron repeatedly grabbed my left arm tightly."
She added that the following day, Aaron arrived at her house and yelled similar insults. She also claims he "violently hit the bill of my hat with the back of his hand, which caused my hat to fall off my head."
Aaron has denied all allegations of abuse made against him.
In a statement to People, he said: "I want to address recent rumours and speculation that have surfaced regarding my relationship with my wife, Denise Richards.
Let me be unequivocally clear: I have never physically or emotionally abused Denise — or anyone.
These accusations are completely false and deeply hurtful.
Denise and I, like many couples, have faced our share of challenges, but any suggestion of abuse is categorically untrue.
I have always tried to approach our marriage with love, patience, and respect."

Aussie singer G Flip and US star Chrishell Stause marry for the fourth time in medieval-themed wedding

Australian singer G Flip and US star Chrishell Stause have celebrated saying 'I do' for the fourth time with a medieval-themed wedding. G Flip, who uses they/them pronouns, and the Selling Sunset star renewed their vows on Saturday in Los Angeles. The couple rented out a castle in the Hollywood Hills for the occasion, TMZ reported. For the ceremony, Stause wore a white off-the-shoulder gown with a lace corset, while G Flip was dressed in a red tunic with a sword on their back. Stause shared photos from the wedding on her Instagram stories, including the invitation. 'By royal decree, we request the honor of your noble presence to witness the wedding ceremony of Lord Flipo & Lady Stause,' it read. 'Lord Flipo & Lady Stause bid thee join in revelry and royal delight. 'Attire: Medieval, Renaissance, Regal and Festive attire encouraged. RSVP with haste.' Stause shared behind-the-scenes details from her big day, revealing that she'd written her vows on a scroll made from dipping paper into a pan with brown liquid. Two knights dressed in full costume also attended the ceremony, along with celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton. Stause and G Flip first met at a Halloween party in October 2021. G Flip then enlisted Stause to feature in their music video for Get Me Outta Here. Stause confirmed her relationship with the Australian musician in May 2022, during Selling Sunset's reunion episode. In July 2022, Stause and G Flip secretly tied the knot in Las Vegas in July 2022. They then renewed their vows a year later in a ceremony in Palm Springs in July 2023. In July 2024, the couple held a third ceremony in Melbourne while they were in Australia celebrating Stause's 43rd birthday. Speaking to Us weekly in May, G Flip revealed they have a goal to wed Stause every year. 'I think it's really healthy and it's good to update your vows every year. I think all couples should do it,' G Flip said. 'I reckon it makes you stronger, looking your person in the eyes and promising them new things every year.' Strause added: 'We normally plan it a week out, so it's super last-minute and then it's more spontaneous. 'We don't ever want to take the fun out of it, so it becomes a chore. That's the only rule: It can't be stressful. 'If you're newlyweds every year, that must help keep things spicy.'

Chrishell Stause marries G Flip for a third time in Los Angeles medieval-themed wedding

Chrishell Stause and G Flip said 'I do' for a third time in a medieval-themed wedding ceremony in Los Angeles Saturday. Stause shared pics from the wedding via her Instagram Stories, including the invitation which welcomed guests to the wedding of 'Lord Flipo and Lady Stause.' Details included the 'Selling Sunset' star making a scroll for her vows and the couple getting married in the presence of two knights dressed in full costume. Stause fit the theme perfectly in an off-the-shoulder white dress with billowy sleeves and a lace-up corset. G Flip also went all out, wearing a red prince costume complete with a sword. The couple rented out a castle in the Hollywood Hills for the occasion, TMZ reported. Among their guests was celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton, who posed with the couple and the knights. Stause, 44, and G Flip, 31, secretly got married for the first time in May 2023 in Las Vegas after one year of dating. They later renewed their vows in the musician's home country of Australia in July 2024 while celebrating Stause's 43rd birthday. The couple previously shared that they plan to have a wedding every year. 'Why would you just do it once? In different locations with different amounts of people,' G Flip, who is non-binary, said on 'The Viall Files' podcast in June 2023. 'You celebrate your birthday once a year and when you're married you're with this person every day, so why don't you celebrate that once a year?' they added. G Flip also said their weddings wouldn't be 'traditional.' 'Chrishell has already done the big traditional,' they explained. 'I'm not big on traditional things.' Stause told E! News in May 2023, 'We promised we're going to just do it [get married] every year, whether it's another Vegas situation or somewhere else. But just every year, something around the same time, spontaneous, fun, get everybody together and every single year, just celebrate.' Stause was previously married to actor Justin Hartley. He filed for divorce in 2019 after two years of marriage. She called their very public divorce 'traumatizing.' But she later shared on 'Selling Sunset' that she was able to receive closure from her ex-husband after he moved on and married his former 'Young and the Restless' co-star Sofia Pernas. NFL star Aaron Rodgers relishes married life

Aaron Rodgers is loving life as a married man. The 41-year-old sports star and his partner Brittani tied the knot earlier this year, and Aaron insists there's "no better feeling in the world" than being a married man. He told the NFL Network: "When you meet the right one, and you're with the right one, your whole world changes in a second. And to have that person that unconditionally loves you behind the scenes, there's no better feeling in the world, and I have the most incredible wife." Aaron admits that his wife has transformed his life, giving him a renewed sense of self-belief. The NFL star - who previously dated the likes of Olivia Munn and Shailene Woodley - said: "I just really love her, and I'm so thankful to have her by my side at the end. When you have that stability and that rock behind you at the house, you feel like you can do anything." Aaron has made a concerted effort to keep details about his marriage under wraps. However, he confirmed that he was dating Brittani during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show in December. Asked about his plans for the festive season, Aaron replied: "There was one package left for my girlfriend Brittani that hadn't showed up yet. I was waiting on this to show up, it showed up today." Aaron subsequently opened up about his love life, laughing off the idea that he was dating pop star Britney Spears. He clarified: "Not Brittany Spears, no, this is Brittani with an 'i'." Aaron then confirmed Brittani doesn't follow The Pat McAfee Show and that she doesn't have a presence on social media, either. Aaron also admitted that he was very happy with Brittani. Asked about being "in love", the Pittsburgh Steelers star replied: "It's a good feeling, boys. It is." Meanwhile, Danica Patrick, his ex-girlfriend, previously accused Aaron of being "emotionally abusive" during their time together. The former racing driver dated Aaron between January 2018 and July 2020, and Danica opened up about the circumstances surrounding their break-up. Danica said on The Sage Steele Show: "It was my life. So like when you live with somebody, it's your whole life. And because the nature of the relationship was emotionally abusive, so that wore me down to nothing."
