Nothing Phone 3 release date and pre-order details as new model 'outperforms' previous phone
With many tech companies set to unveil their latest smartphones to the market in the coming weeks, including Samsung's latest flip phone, UK tech firm Nothing beat other Android firms to the punch by launching their latest flagship phone last evening at 6pm UK time.
Two years on since the release of the firm's previous flagship phone, the Nothing Phone 2, fans have been waiting in anticipation for the release of the latest edition. Said to 'outperform' older models, shoppers will be able to pre-order the latest smartphone from the Nothing website on Friday, July 4.
For those happy to wait for general sale however, Nothing's 'true' flagship phone will be available on Tuesday, July 15. Shoppers will get to choose between black and white editions of the device, as well as storage.
At the moment it is expected for Amazon to also be selling the new Phone 3 as it currently sells the older models, such as the Nothing Phone 3a (£329 for £128GB) and the Nothing Phone 2a for £259.50. However, this is yet to be confirmed, reports Radio Times.
Speaking about the new flagship phone, CEO Carl Pei said: "We really have to outperform our previous flagship, so compared to Phone (2) it's going to be 36 per cent faster on CPU, 88 per cent stronger on GPU, and 60 per cent stronger on the NPU. But what it means in practice, it will feel a lot snappier."
For those intrigued by the Nothing Phone 3, it does come with a hefty price tag. In either white or black, shoppers can either buy the phone with 12Gb and 256GB of storage for £799 or for £899 for the 16GB and 512GB of storage edition.
Nothing Phone 3
Product Description
This price hike from the older models is due to the Phone 3 literally being nothing like what shoppers have seen before. One of the main changes is to do with the removal of the Glyph interface, which are the light-up panels on the rear of the older smartphone models.
Fans were pre-warned of this switch up, as back in May Nothing's X account posted: "We killed the Glyph interface." Instead, the new Phone 3 will feature a Glyph Matrix in the top right corner of the smartphone's rear.
This will act as an interactive option for users to get quick updates from their phone without having to look at the main display. This is done through the interface lighting up depending on the different notifications it receives.
The new phone also boasts a 50MP telephoto camera, as well as a 50MP main camera, allowing users to take stunning photos whenever they want. The phone has also moved away from its original camera bump design and now features a triple-rear camera.
However, shoppers will notice these cameras are all out of alignment to continue the unique and bold design of the smartphone.
As highlighted by Nothing's CEO, the Phone 3 has been designed with higher specs than its predecessors. With a 36 per cent faster CPU, the android phone also has a 88 per cent stronger GPU and a 60 per cent stronger NPU in comparison to the Phone 2.
In terms of display, the Phone 3 boasts a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display, providing users with clean and sharp visuals for when they are watching their favourite shows and films.
Fans of the Nothing smartphones will also see an upgrade to the battery life. The new phone is equipped with a 5,150mAh silicon-carbon battery, which is said to provide an all-day battery.
Shoppers also gain a host of brand new AI features to play with, one of which is the essential search. This feature is a universal smart search bar that allows users to search across files, contacts and photos.
Other features include flip to record, a tool that swiftly transcribes and summarises meetings, and essential space, which is where AI organises all your ideas, notes and content into one central space.
In addition to releasing the Phone 3, Nothing also launched their first ever over-ear headphone the Nothing Headphone 1, priced at £299. While the London-based tech company has a variety of earbuds on the market, this is their first venture into creating over-ear devices.

Amazon beats Dyson with £100 off cordless vacuum that 'makes cleaning so much easier'
Amazon beats Dyson with £100 off cordless vacuum that 'makes cleaning so much easier' Amazon has undercut Dyson on its 'most powerful' V8 vacuum cleaner, offering Brits more than 31% off. The Dyson V8 Advanced is 31% off at Amazon. Amazon has beaten Dyson as it slashes more than £100 off a cordless vacuum that's said to make cleaning 'so much easier'. In a new limited time deal, shoppers can pick up the Dyson V8 Advanced Cordless Vacuum Cleaner for £229. This represents a 31% price cut from the usual £329.99 and is slightly cheaper than Dyson's own £229.99 price tag. This model is touted as Dyson's 'most powerful' V8 ever, delivering 10% more suction compared to previous Dyson V8s. It boasts a digital motor that spins at up to 110,000rpm to generate 130 Air Watts of suction, with two settings including Eco mode or the more powerful MAX mode for more intense cleaning. It's powered by an advanced six-cell battery that provides up to 40 minutes of runtime, while a de-tangling motorbar cleaner head prevents tangles and sucks up long hair and pet hair from all floor types. This also ensures deep cleaning of carpets and removes dust and debris from hard floors. The V8 Advanced is said to be lightweight for quick and versatile cordless cleaning and can also be transformed to a handheld vacuum for getting into hard-to-reach places around the house and car. As well as the vacuum cleaner, buyers will also receive a combination tool for quick switching between cleaning and dusting tasks, plus a crevice tool for narrower spaces. Other affordable devices include the Shark PowerPro Cordless Stick Vacuum (£179.99), which is hailed for its 'exceptional cleaning performance' and 'powerful hair pickup'. Dyson V8 Advanced Cordless Vacuum Cleaner £329.99 £229 Amazon Get the deal here Product Description Amazon has slashed £100.99 off the Dyson V8 Advanced Cordless Vacuum Cleaner. There's also the Hoover HF1+ Home Cordless Vacuum Cleaner (£99), which comes with a specially designed tool for tackling pet hair. But for those sticking with Dyson, the V8 Advanced Cordless Vacuum Cleaner has achieved a 4.5-star rating after more than 3,500 reviews. One happy customer said: 'I'm really impressed with the Dyson V8. It's super lightweight, powerful and makes cleaning so much easier than I expected. I love that it converts to a handheld – perfect for the sofa and the car. The battery lasts around 35–40 minutes and it does a great job picking up even pet hair. It was worth every penny.' Another said: 'This is brilliant. The suction tremendous, and best of all the pet hair remover. I have three dogs and with all my other vacuums I had to clean the brush head constantly, but not with this one. I have used this several times now and not once had to clean the brush head.' 'It's lightweight, powerful and makes cleaning so much easier'. While another five-star review said: 'Lightweight and easy to use, excellent cleaner. Purchased this for my elderly mother and she finds it easy to use. Powerful without being too heavy to push around. The battery lasts long enough to do the full house.'

Amazon has 30% off 'impressive' dash cam that provides 'evidence' for insurance claims
Amazon has 30% off 'impressive' dash cam that provides 'evidence' for insurance claims Safety-conscious drivers can now save on a top-rated dash cam that has seen a significant reduction on Amazon - but the offer is only available for a limited time The dash cam is on a generous 45 per cent offer (Image: Getty Images) Regardless of your driving abilities, you cannot predict other motorists' behaviour on the road. This makes investing in a dash cam essential, ensuring you have evidence available should any unexpected incidents occur whilst driving. Safety-minded drivers will be pleased to learn that a highly-rated dash cam has received a substantial price cut on Amazon. Previously priced at a hefty £99.99, the device is currently available with a generous 30 per cent discount, bringing the cost down to just £69.99. This sophisticated D600 4K dash cam records the road comprehensively with front-facing 4K resolution and rear-facing 1080P resolution. Equipped with a 170° wide-angle lens and night vision capabilities, sharp footage can be recorded even in dim lighting conditions to guarantee complete coverage with nothing overlooked. With a simple touch, motorists can upload segments of any trip to YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, or alternative social media networks, reports the Daily Record. According to its product description, the device serves as the 'perfect dashcam for cars, truck, SUV', simplifying the process of providing evidence when submitting insurance claims. Once the SD card reaches capacity, fresh recordings will automatically replace the oldest files. The dashcam, equipped with a G-sensor, automatically detects any sudden jolts or shocks and locks the video to prevent it from being overwritten. When parked, the car dash cam seamlessly switches to parking mode, providing continuous surveillance for any potential incidents while you're away. Alternatively, budget-conscious shoppers can opt for the Binatone FHD200 Full HD Quick Release Dash Cam, currently on sale at Argos for £39.99. However, the discounted camera on Amazon has been well-received by drivers, garnering a host of positive reviews. One pleased customer shared: "This dash cam is impressive, with both front and rear coverage. The video quality is sharp and the wide-angle view captures everything you need. It comes with its own app, making it easy to download footage and adjust settings. I'm really satisfied with the purchase-great value for the price." On the other hand, a less content shopper expressed: "Unfortunately this product is not fit for purpose. It cuts out constantly meaning I do not have the security of constant video coverage, which is the reason I bought this dashcam. "I reached out to the supplier for help, who initially replied to my concerns, but unfortunately I did not receive the hard wire kit offered - which apparently may resolve the issue, therefore I would recommend that you buy from a more reliable source as I feel this product has simply been a waste of money." However, a more satisfied customer commented: "One of my favourite features is the parking mode, which can be activated when paired with a hardwiring kit. It gives me peace of mind knowing my vehicle is being monitored even when I'm not around. "The included app is user-friendly and makes it easy to view live or recorded footage on the go. There are also plenty of settings to customize the dashcam to any preferences. All of this can be accessed by taking the included SD card out too." ‘Every bit as good as GHD' say Amazon shoppers as hair straighteners that add shine slashed from £120 to £35
AMAZON shoppers are rushing to buy a pair of popular hair straighteners that have been reduced by 71%. The Remington styler has thousands of five-star ratings, and it's currently down from £119.99 to £34.99 in a limited-time deal. The Remington Keratin Protect Intelligent Straightener, £34.99 (was £119.99) BUY HERE The Remington Keratin Protect Intelligent Straightener features a heat protection sensor that measures the hair's moisture levels and adjusts the heat, keeping damage to a minimum. It has ceramic coated plates infused with keratin that add moisture and shine to the hair, while the floating plates help to distribute heat evenly. The beauty tech tool comes with five heat settings ranging from 160-230 degrees. For safety, the straightener shuts off automatically after a certain time period, and it takes 15 seconds to heat up. The Remington styler has racked up glowing reviews on the Amazon website, with several shoppers saying they prefer it to their GHD straightener. One wrote: "I've always used GHD straighteners but these beat them hands down - got them for a gift but think I'll be getting some for myself as they're brilliant!" Another added: "I needed to replace my GHD ones as they are old but wasn't sure which to buy, I read the reviews and thought I'd try them. Wow was I impressed, love the shape of the plates and the choice of heat settings. They left my bleached hair shiny and so so soft and it looked amazing, I'm absolutely delighted with them, I'd highly recommend." 1 Remington's Keratin Protect Straighteners are part of a limited-time Amazon deal, so it's possible that the huge 71% discount will be running for today only. If you're on the hunt for a new pair of hair straighteners but feel overwhelmed by the sea of options, you can read Sun Shopping's tried-and-tested roundup of the best hair straighteners. Several retailers have been slashing prices across popular haircare tools in recent weeks. Amazon also gave an impressive 55% price drop to its hair dryer that shoppers say is 'miles better' than the Dyson Supersonic, and it's still currently reduced. The retail giant is unpredictable with its limited-time deals, so it's unclear when the Remington Keratin Protect Straightener will return to its original price of £119.99.
