Danville men arrested for unlawful possession, use of a weapon

On Friday, March 21, at around 9 p.m., members of the Danville Police Department Problem-Oriented Policing Unit conducted a traffic stop in the area of Gilbert and Williams Streets after witnessing a moving violation.
'P.O.P. officers made contact with two subjects in the vehicle who were identified as 19-year-old Alex Doe and 19-year-old Joshua S. Brocks both of Danville,' Danville Deputy Chief Terry McCord said. 'During the stop, officers witnessed a firearm in the vehicle and further investigation showed neither man could legally possess a firearm.'
Both men were arrested and transported to the Vermilion County Public Safety Building for processing. Doe was found to be on probation in Vermilion County and was booked on the charge of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Convicted Felon. Brocks was booked on the charge of Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon.

ODESSA, Texas- The Odessa Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying two individuals involved in a theft at Ulta Beauty. The incident occurred at the Ulta Beauty store located at 6317 E. Highway 191. On the day of the theft, an unidentified male and female entered the store and stole over $600 worth of merchandise. The suspects were captured on in-store surveillance cameras, and still images have been obtained from the footage. The Odessa Police Department is now turning to the community for help.
