Seeing Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor being trolled for their appearance was painful for half-sister Anshula: ‘They are the bravest girls'

Anshula Kapoor is the daughter of film producer Boney Kapoor and his first wife Mona Shourie. In a recent interview, Anshula opened up about the deep bond she shares with her half-sisters, actors Khushi Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor, whom she connected with in tragic circumstances as an adult. Anshula and her brother, Arjun Kapoor, reconnected with their father after the death of his second wife, Sridevi. In the wake of the tragedy, they became close with their half-siblings, and they now share a warm bond.
Anshula, who is quite active on social media, recently appeared on the Amazon Prime Video show The Traitors. In a recent interaction, she spoke about the trolling and harsh criticism that Janhvi and Khushi face on the internet. Anshula told Pinkvilla, 'When it comes to the brutality of the outside world, it is harsh. It's not easy to see someone you love being trolled. It doesn't matter if it is your sister or any loved one, it's not easy to have that emotion work through you.'

Drawing a clear line between constructive criticism and trolling, Anshula shared, 'There's a way to give criticism when it comes to work; to help in terms of what we call positive criticism. But when criticism becomes about everything else, it is actually trolling and it is no longer criticism.'
Anshula also shed light on how unfair it is for young individuals, especially those in their teens or 20s, to face unwarranted negativity. She added, 'It is extremely unfair for people to judge somebody they don't know, when they go personal. It is very unfair for someone in their 20s or their teenage years, to go through something like that when it's unwarranted.'

Anshula went on to add that she is proud of her sisters' strength and kindness and said, 'They are the bravest and kindest girls that I've had the pleasure of knowing. And they truly are all heart.'
Earlier this week, Anshula announced that she had gotten engaged to her partner Rohan Thakkar. He proposed to her in New York, after dating for over two years.
