Emilie Kiser's lawyer shares emotional statement after her son's death aged 3
The TikTok star's toddler son died on Sunday, after falling into a swimming pool a week earlier.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident, with the Chandler Arizona Police Department commenting: 'The investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident remain ongoing. This is still an open investigation.'
Now, in a new statement, Kiser's lawyer – whose name was not reported – commented: 'Emilie is going through a parent's worst nightmare right now.
'She lost her young son, her 3-year-old Trigg Chapman Kiser ('Trigg'), on May 18, 2025, following a heartbreaking accidental drowning at the family's home on May 12, 2025. More Trending
'Emilie is trying her best to be there for her surviving son, two-month-old Theodore. But every day is a battle.'
The statement came as part of a lawsuit to block the release of records surrounding her son's death.
The lawsuit, as seen by Arizona Republic showed Kiser's lawyer stated the family's reasoning for the block: 'The records requested presumably reveal graphic, distressing, and intimate details of Trigg's death that have no bearing on government accountability.
'To allow disclosure in these circumstances would be to turn Arizona's Public Records Law into a weapon of emotional harm, rather than a tool of government transparency.'

You could be richer with tiny detail on rare £2 coin worth hundreds of pounds
Finding one small minting error on a £2 coin could mean it sells for more than 60 times its value to collectors. So do you have this special piece lurking in your wallets? Rare coins are all the rage at the moment, but have you got this particular £2 piece in your pocket? It's always a good idea to rummage through your coin stash - you never know what treasures might be lurking. One lucky person hit the jackpot when he discovered the UK's rarest 50p coin, featuring an Atlantic Salmon design and King Charles III on the reverse, tucked away in his collection. These coveted coins are now fetching big sums, with one changing hands on eBay for a tidy £153 last year. But TikTok fans went wild with talks of another coin to keep an eye out for - a £2 coin that fetched hundreds under the hammer. TikTok user @CoinCollectingWizard, who boasts a following of 191,400, highlighted a 2016 Shakespeare's Tragedies £2 coin that sold for an impressive £123, approximately 60 times its face value. These coins were minted to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the Bard's death. The set is made up of three coins, each celebrating a different genre of Shakespeare's oeuvre – tragedies, comedies, and histories. So, what makes this coin so special? The user explained: "It's a hard to spot error affecting the edge of the coin that has attracted interest from collectors. "Instead of the standard edge inscription, which should read, 'What a piece of work is a man', this one has the words from another £2 coin around the edge. Mint errors like this one can add significant value to common coins." It's worth noting the error coin will bear the edge inscription 'for king and country'. Rare coin collector shares six valuable designs that could be worth up to £200k Several £2 coins are known to have the wrong edge inscription, with the mistake being an edge intended for a different coin minted in the same year. The revelation, shared in a video two days ago, has already garnered over 200 likes and numerous comments.

Love Is Blind UK fans are just realising where they've seen one star before
One star has appeared on TV screens before Love Is Blind UK fans are discovering where they've seen one star before as Season 2 returns to screens. The popular dating show returned to screens earlier this month after its huge success last year. But Love Is Blind UK fans are having to wait to find out what happens as the episodes are released in batches each week. Today, August 20, saw episodes five to eight released, which sees the newly engaged couples navigating their lives together, but will they face any hurdles along the way? Fans will have to wait until August 27 to find out what happens in the final two episodes. As fans binge watch the latest episodes, there's one star that viewers may recognise, who has been seen on screens before. Yolanda, 26, from Hampshire is the youngest in the experiment, but is more than ready for marriage. The star is a self professed adrenaline junkie, and at 15 even found herself in a coma after she walked into a window. But Yolanda has been seen on screens before, and even has links to a famous star. Yolanda has links to Love Island 2024 winner Mimii Tafara, who made history last year on the ITV2 show with Josh. She even appeared on the spin-off show Aftersun to talk about Mimii while she was still in the villa. Yolanda and Mimii were also seen on the Boots UK YouTube channel for the Christmas Gift Swap video several months ago. The caption for the video, posted on December 13, 2024, reads: "Join Mimii and her cousin Yolanda as they pick out some of the best beauty and fragrance gifts from Boots this Christmas! Plus, find out which must have product Mimii used in the Love Island Villa!" Yolanda is also active on her own social media, with a large TikTok following, often sharing clips of her own life. Taking to her Instagram to share the Love Is Blind UK casting news, Yolanda wrote: "SURPRISE. From 50 First Dates to Love Is Blind UK I really took my dating life to Netflix. "As the youngest in the experiment, I stepped into the pods with an open heart and no clue what was coming… Catch all the tea and post-show madness on TikTok: @simply_yolandita Mr Right … are you out there." And the support came pouring in as Mimii herself wrote: "Can't wait!!!!" Some fans even said they were tuning in to the latest series to watch their favourite star. Over on TikTok, Yolanda has been no stranger to sharing details on her love life to her 22.4k followers. She even shared clips after going on "50 first dates". In one video recently, the star shared a clip of her dancing as the text read: "Me fully embracing my destiny as the hot single auntie." But how was Yolanda's Love Is Blind UK journey? Fans can tune in to find out as eight out of the ten episodes are available to stream on Netflix now.
