Moms want to be seen on Mother's Day, and I'm a believer that the right gift can do just that. As Yahoo's Gifting Editor, I spend my days searching high and low for gift ideas that I think she'll love, but I also know that the best Mother's Day gifts are often the trendiest ones. And you know who knows the trends better than anyone? Our old reliable friend, Google.
That's right, Google sifted through its searches to compile a list of this year's hottest Mother's Day gifts. So, what does the data tell us? Classics take the cake — searches for Mother's Day flowers lead the way, followed by birthstone jewelry and food gifts. Moms are also in need of some elevated essentials, given that interest in short-sleeve pajama sets (á la White Lotus) soared to new heights in the last month.
You'll see a lot of the usual suspects — I'm talking blossoming bouquets, Mom-approved tech and statement jewels from none other than Kendra Scott. All of the picks below are backed by data, so you really can't go wrong. (And if you need even more ideas, look no further than our list of Mother's Day gifts that Yahoo readers are buying in droves — our take on the trends, if you will.)
Amazon Anne Klein Bangle Watch
Now, here's a timely Mother's Day gift — literally. Watches lead the searches for Mother's Day gifts under $100, proving they're as timeless as it gets (pun intended). Bracelet bands and two-tone styles are also having a moment, which is why this Anne Klein favorite is a match made for Mom. $20 at Amazon
Kendra Scott Kendra Scott Cailin Gold Crystal Band Ring
Everyone and their mother loves Kendra Scott. The brand's bestselling Elisa Pendant earned a top spot on Google's Holiday 100 last year, but now it's all about these birthstone beauties. These sparkly stunners are dominating right now, with Google searches at an all-time high in the lead up to Mother's Day. Just be sure to double-check Mom's ring size before you place your order. $56 at Kendra Scott
The Bouqs Co. The Bouqs Co. Stay Cool Bouquet
Flowers for Mother's Day? Groundbreaking, I know. And while some moms would rather ditch the bouquet for something longer-lasting, fresh blooms reign as the most timeless — and most-searched — Mother's Day gift in 2025 (and, well, ever). Carnations and hydrangeas are the most popular stems this time of year, so go for this The Bouqs Co. charmer featuring a bit of both. $92 at The Bouqs Co.
Anthropologie Anthropologie Hollace Tote: Woven Mini Edition
Handwoven bags scream "summer" — and that's why searches for 'em are hotter than ever right now. Sure, raffia styles are a warm-weather staple, but this purse with a leather-like finish is far more elevated, so she can easily take it from day to night. $90 at Anthropologie
Uncommon Goods Upcycled Wine Bottle Heart Chime
When the wind picks up, the acrylic heart will sway back and forth, bringing sweet music to Grandma's ears. That's right, wind chimes are among the most-searched Mother's Day gifts for grandmas. It's fitting since she'll be spending the whole summer in her garden and all. $24 at Uncommon Goods
The reviews quoted above reflect the most recent versions at the time of publication.

'The Chosen: Last Supper': Where to watch Season 5 on streaming Show Caption Hide Caption Meet the star who plays Jesus on 'The Chosen' The star who plays Jesus in the 'The Chosen' reveals why this adaption of Jesus' story is so impactful. The wait is over: "The Chosen: Last Supper," the fifth season of TV's biblical epic, arrives on Amazon Prime June 15. The eight-episode installment, which screened in theaters last March and April, resumes where Season 4 left off, capturing a crowd celebrating the arrival in Jerusalem of Jesus (Jonathan Roumie) at the start of the week (known as Palm Sunday) and ending before Jesus' arrest in the Garden of Gethsemane. 'Season 5 is our most intense yet,' says Dallas Jenkins, creator of the first multi-season historical drama about Jesus. 'There are a million people all in one city, the enemies, the followers, the friends, the believers, the antagonists. They're all together, and they're all plotting either for or against Jesus.' 'This is the season where some of the most iconic moments in history are taking place," Jenkins says. "You've got the triumphal entry into Jerusalem. You've got the turning over of the tables in the temple. You got the Last Supper. You got Judas' betrayal.' Yet even the small moments are impactful, Jenkins says, like when Jesus is by himself, shouldering the agony to come. 'What he's thinking about happening in the future, what he's thinking about happening in the past and what he knows is going to happen this week, it's got such dramatic weight to it that it feels big, even though it's just one person," Jenkins says. Princess Kate's Poignant Milestone in Cancer Journey
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. Princess Kate is expected to attend Trooping the Colour this weekend, marking one year since her return to public life following her cancer diagnosis. The Princess of Wales retreated from the public glare in the first half of 2024 after having abdominal surgery in January and later announcing a cancer diagnosis. As she avoided the limelight, social media users circulated increasingly morbid conspiracy theories, with some even suggesting the palace was covering up her death. The annual military parade, which Kate attended last June while undergoing chemotherapy, served as her first official appearance following her cancer announcement. On Saturday, the princess—who said in January that she was in remission—is expected to return for another Trooping the Colour, King Charles III's birthday parade. BENJAMIN CREMEL/AFP via Getty Images The 'Where Is Kate Middleton' Conspiracy Theories Kate's team announced at the time of her abdominal surgery in January 2024 that she would spend a period of time out of the public eye. However, when there were no post-surgery images of the princess, the rumor mill went into overdrive—with Kim Kardashian among high profile figures to join the social media trend of asking, "Where is Kate Middleton." Amid a clamor for "proof of life" images of Kate following her surgery, the palace marked Mother's Day in the U.K. with an image of the princess surrounded by her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. The photo caused its own controversy, however, when it emerged that Kate had made numerous edits to the image. International picture agencies issued a "kill notice" instructing news outlets not to use it. Kate apologized on X, formerly Twitter, but the palace declined to release an original image, further fueling conspiracy theorists. Princess Kate Announces She Has Cancer On March 22, Kate released a recorded video announcing that she had been diagnosed with cancer and needed time away from the public eye. "In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was noncancerous," the princess said. She continued: "The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment. "This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family. "As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment. But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be OK." Kate Chooses Trooping the Colour for Her Comeback Despite the gravity of her diagnosis, some social media users continued to create pressure for a public appearance from Kate by suggesting that her March video was AI generated. Two months after her announcement, Kate stepped out before the world's media, choosing a quintessentially royal moment for her comeback. The princess accompanied her children during the carriage procession of Trooping the Colour wearing an outfit inspired by Eliza Doolittle, the commoner who pretends to be a duchess, in My Fair Lady. Her appearance at the event was later described as a "boost to the nation." Louis likewise captured the hearts of the British public by dancing on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
