Furious Ian Holloway 'DISGUSTED' by 'absolutely horrific' behaviour from one of his own team's fans, as boss goes on post-game rant
After travelling to Walsall for their opening league game of the season, the Robins fell to a late defeat despite the hosts being reduced to ten men.
After Connor Barrett's stoppage-time winner in Saturday's clash, a supporter in the away end threw an object at Walsall goalkeeper Myles Roberts.
In a statement Swindon noted that they are aware of 'a number of serious incidents', including 'objects being thrown' and 'damage caused to property within the stadium' while vowing the 'strictest possible sanctions' on those responsible.
Addressing those involved directly, Swindon boss Ian Holloway condemned the incident in the strongest possible terms.
'I'm disgusted by whoever that person was,' Holloway told the club's social media.
'Whoever you are, you're not a Swindon fan. I'm not having you, and I hope you get caught.
'That is absolutely horrific. How dare you put our club in the situation you've just done… we don't want you in football.
'If you've ripped a seat out and thrown it at somebody, I just can't stand you, whoever you are. And I will find you. I want us to find that person, and shame them.'
Holloway was named Robins boss in October, bringing an end to nearly four years out of management for the 62-year-old.
With the club languishing just outside the relegation zone on his arrival, the former Blackpool boss subsequently guided them to a comfortable mid-table finish.

With a Champions League qualifier on the horizon and the domestic campaign already under way, there is growing frustration among Celtic supporters about a lack of transfer business. While they've seen six new faces permanently through the door - Benjamin Nygren, Hayato Inamura, Shin Yamada, Kieran Tierney, Ross Doohan and Callum Osmand - only three were part of the squad for last weekend's Premiership opener. Striker Idah, who had spent the 2023-24 season on loan, arrived at Celtic on 15 August for a reported fee of around £9.5m. Alex Valle joined on loan in late August and Engels wouldn't arrive until deadline day for a club record fee of £11m alongside centre-back Auston Trusty and midfielder Luke McCowan. While that timeline shows Celtic's tendency for late business, there's one big difference between where the club sat last summer compared to now - the Champions League play-off. Former captain Hennessey dies aged 82
Former Nottingham Forest captain Terry Hennessey has died at the age of made over 159 appearances between 1965 and 1970, earning 39 caps for Wales over the span of a club said in a statement: "Everyone sends their condolences to Mr. Hennessey's family and friends at this extremely difficult time."
