at the school around 10am when they were attacked by a swarm of wasps. The panicked girls rushed out of the school. At least six of them were injured. Staff members rushed them to Musiri GH.
Fire and rescue services personnel led by Musiri station officer M Karnan cleared the nest. "We found the nest in a wooden cupboard inside an unused storeroom. We cleared it using insecticides," said a fire officer.

NEET (PG) aspirant dies by suicide after ‘forced marriage'
Patna: Three months after he was allegedly forced by his family to get married to a girl of their choice, a 22-year-old NEET (postgraduate) aspirant died by suicide at his hostel room in Danapur police station area near Patna on Sunday. Police recovered a suicide note from deceased Rohit Kumar's room, in which he mentioned that his family forced him into the marriage. "I was in love with someone else. Under the pressure from my family, I married another girl. I don't want to live any more," read the suicide not found pasted on a wall near the body. The matter came to light on Sunday night, when Rohit's roommate, Aryan returned to the hostel around 9 and found the room locked from inside. He called the youth several times, but there was no response. So he alerted the hostel owner and other students, who broke open the door, only to find Rohit, son of Pankaj Kumar Mehta, the mukhiya of Chanwath village in Buxar district, hanging from the ceiling fan with a noose made of a bed sheet. NEET PG City Intimation Slip To Be Released Tomorrow, Admit Card On July 31
NEET PG 2025 City Intimation Slips: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will release the city intimation slip for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) Postgraduate (PG) tomorrow, July 21, 2025. Candidates who submitted the city choices will be provided the intimation slip on their registered email id. The test city will be released tomorrow containing only the allotted city, not the exact location of the centre. The exact venue will be specified in the admit card which will be released on July 31, 2025. The NEET Postgraduate 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on August 3, 2025 in a single shift. Recently, NBEMS issued a notice advising candidates appearing for the NEET PG 2025 examination to stay vary of the fake notices issued in the board's name. The fake notices, usually from social media, email and SMS contained misleading information and fake promises of assistance in the exams. "Unscrupulous agents or touts may make false and bogus claims to candidates using spoofed content in the name of NBEMS for phishing," the notice reads. "Candidates are hereby advised not to be allured or misled by such individuals making fake promises of help through forged documents or messages." NBEMS clarified that students must not trust any source of information but only the notices, information released on the official website, From July 2020, all notices released by the NBEMS contain a QR code that leads users to the original document on the official website, upon scanning.

Miscreant forges Australian embassy documents to secure NRI seat
Bengaluru: A criminal complaint has been filed against a man on charges of producing fake documents, including an Australian embassy letter, logo, and other documents, in a bid to help a student seeking an MBBS seat through the undergraduate National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (UG-NEET). The complainant, Islauddin J Gadyal, administrative officer at Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), filed the complaint with Malleswaram police under various BNS Sections, including 318 (cheating) and 336 (forgery). According to the FIR, the suspect is identified as Raghu, a resident of Nelamangala. "The application, under the NRI quota, submitted by the student was scanned between July 14 and 17. Then, we discovered that the seal, designations of officials, and their signatures were missing in the letters claimed to have been issued by the Australian embassy. Also, one letter, which claimed to be from the Australian govt, had the Ashoka Chakra emblem at the top," stated Gadyal's complaint. According to Gadyal, the student and her father were summoned to the KEA office to get more information on the suspicious documents. "The man told us he and his daughter weren't aware of anything. One person, identified as Raghu from Nelamangala, had taken Rs 5,000 from him, promising an NRI seat for the student," Gadyal's complaint read.
