Schroeder quarterback Emma Rascoe has been a force for the Warriors through the postseason, throwing for 412 yards with eight touchdowns through two games last week.
Four of those touchdowns came in in the Class B Final, where the junior also returned an interception for a touchdown to lift the Warriors to their first sectional title in program history.
In the Far West Regional, Rascoe found the end zone four more times in the air to secure a 26-14 win.
She's also added 154 yards on the ground through Schroeder's last two games, earning a spot in the state semifinals and earning our Player of the Week.

LAFARGEVILLE, N.Y. (WWTI) – Racing roared back over the weekend after the Memorial Day holiday across the north country. Theresa native Lance Willix picked up the victory over Watertown native Billy Dunn in the 25-lap 358-modified feature. Tyler Meeks, Derek Webb and Remington Hamm rounded out the top five. Mike Fowler collected the win in the 20-lap Sportsman division feature. Frank Sibley, Ryan Shanahan, Tyler Stevenson and Josh Reome finished out the top five. Jon Liberty (602 crate sprints), Michael Greenfield (thundercar) and Eymarah Bowman (limited sportsman) were also winners on Friday, May 31. Can-Am will be back in action on Friday, June 6 with the Pit Crew Showdown. Pits open at 4 p.m. with gates opening at 5 p.m. and racing beginning at 7 p.m. Evans Mills Raceway Park Rain continued to be a problem as Saturday's May 31 program was postponed. The Zeigler 67 race was pushed back until this weekend. June 6: Relay For Life at Evans Mills This weekend's scheduled card will be legends night with the pits opening at 3 p.m. Saturday. State police to hand out 1.5K handgun safes to promote safe storage

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH) — Connecticut State Police say they'll soon be issuing 1,500 handgun safes to new pistol permit recipients as part of their Safe Storage Initiative CT program. The program is meant to raise awareness and education about the safe storage of firearms. Connecticut advocates push to raise awareness of gun storage safety The safes were funded by a Byrne-SCIP grant and will be issued to recipients at state police headquarters in Middletown. They'll also come with a pamphlet outlining safety recommendations and relevant laws. Gun Storage Check Week is also this week, spanning from June 1 to June 7. State police said it's an important time to remember improper storage can lead to accidents, suicides, or thefts. The Safe Storage Initiative is expected to launch on July 1.
