Bikini clad influencers mocked online for posing for selfies while their $4.5M Lamborghini yacht sank off Miami
The jaw-dropping reaction of its influencer passengers while their multi-million ride sank has left social media stunned.
Dozens of scantily-clad women were seen taking selfies, giggling and even cracking jokes as the 63-foot yacht rapidly sank beneath them during what was supposed to be a glamorous Formula One weekend cruise.
On Saturday afternoon, around 30 women crammed onto the lavish Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 yacht, a vessel only designed for five passengers and two crew members, for a boozy day in the sun.
Videos shared online show the women popping champagne and dancing, flaunting their ritzy excursion — but the good vibes didn't last long.
Chaos erupted when the yacht started tipping over and sinking, rapidly turning the flashy outing into what looked like a nightmare scenario.
But in a surreal twist, the group didn't appear panicked. Instead, the influencers were seen filming themselves, with one woman even heard saying: 'It's giving Titanic' as the U.S. Coast Guard moved in to save them.
Several women were seen clutching luxury items — Louis Vuitton duffle bags, Christian Dior totes, and even a MacBook Air laptop were prioritised over safety gear.
One woman was spotted cradling a $330 bottle of Clase Azul Gold Tequila that she managed to grab from the sinking yacht.
The bizarre reactions quickly ignited outrage online.
"You know what's crazy? It's like someone's boat is sinking, they're panicking, probably upset-and the bimbos on your boat are just laughing, cracking jokes like, 'It's giving Titanic,'" one social media user said.
"That's not humor, that's heartless disguised as a vibe."
Another added: 'There are three things to fear in this world. One of them WATER — these so-called influencers are laughing at something that is not a laughing matter.'
A third commenter sarcastically wrote: "Love how they all just laugh and get on a different yacht."
Footage shared by passenger Lauren Nicole showed orange life vests being passed around, as the women huddled together waiting for rescue boats.
Pieces of the yacht were seen floating in the water, while Lauren shouted in panic: 'F*ck my life.'
Multiple emergency vehicles raced to the scene, as the group of women were safely pulled from the water while the vessel vanished into the ocean.
But even as the disaster unfolded, many of the passengers seemed to be in high spirits.
The woman who had clung to the tequila bottle was seen grinning and shouting with friends, yelling: 'Baby is safe!' and 'The women and children are okay!'
"Why God, why? Why did you do this to us?" Lauren exclaimed dramatically as she sailed away from the yacht.
Stunned onlookers along the Miami shoreline whipped out their phones to film the Coast Guard rescue operation as the sinking unfolded.
Authorities confirmed 32 people were rescued from the yacht, with no serious injuries reported, according to CiberCuba.
The incident is now under investigation, with the vessel clearly overpacked far beyond its intended capacity.
The Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, a limited-edition superyacht born from a collaboration between Italian carmaker Lamborghini and The Italian Sea Group, is only meant to carry five guests and two crew members.
