Single rollover crash sends driver to hospital, charged after incident
MONTROSE, Colo. (KREX) – A driver who swerved his vehicle into an electrical box and a large tree was sent to the hospital and, ultimately, charged after the crash.
Colorado State Patrol said the single rollover crash recently happened on 40350 Highway 15 in Montrose. The driver of a Subaru Impresa was traveling northbound on the highway before allegedly drifting right, across the shoulder and into the dirt.
The driver reportedly swerved back across both lanes and onto the left dirt shoulder before striking an electrical box and a tree.
The driver, Kevin Haskin, 40, was transported to the hospital but did not have any injuries, according to CSP. Haskin was charged with careless driving.
