Six-wicket Taijul wraps up Zimbabwe for 227 in 2nd Bangladesh Test
CHITTAGONG: Bangladesh spinner Taijul Islam took his sixth wicket of the innings as Zimbabwe were bowled out for 227 after one ball of day two in the second Test in Chattogram on Tuesday.
Resuming at 227-9, Blessing Muzarabani edged Taijul's first ball of the morning session to wicketkeeper Jaker Ali, leaving the left-arm slow bowler with figures of 6-60.
Taijul had already taken his 16th five-wicket haul in Tests on Monday. Fellow spinner Nayeem Hasan finished with 2-42.

Kohli-Rohit retirements ‘personal call', says India selector
MUMBAI: The Test retirements of stalwarts Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were personal calls that have opened up opportunities in Indian cricket, chief selector Ajit Agarkar said on Saturday. Top-order batter Shubman Gill has been chosen to succeed Rohit as India's Test captain, starting with the all-important five-Test tour of England in June and July. CHATTOGRAM: Bangladesh won the second and final Test against Zimbabwe by an innings and 106 runs on Wednesday, a decisive victory in less than three days to level the series. Zimbabwe scored 227 in their first innings after winning the toss, with Bangladesh scoring a formidable 444 in response. The visitors then collapsed for 111 in the second session of the third day in Chattogram. Mehidy Hasan Miraz starred with both bat and ball, scoring a century and then bagging 5-32 with the ball to hand Zimbabwe a crushing defeat.
