Victims of Montana bar shooting identified as manhunt for military veteran suspect continues
At about 10:30 a.m. on Friday, 45-year-old Michael Brown allegedly entered The Owl Bar and opened fire, killing 59-year-old Daniel Edwin Baillie, 64-year-old Nancy Lauretta Kelley, 70-year-old David Allen Leach, and 74-year-old Tony Wayne Palm, all of whom were residents of Anaconda.
Brown remains at large as search efforts continue in the Stumptown area, just west of Anaconda, where the suspect was last seen.
Authorities released a photo of Brown on Saturday, showing him barefoot and shirtless, walking down a flight of steps.
The photo showed Brown wearing black shorts and fleeing after the shooting Friday, according to the state Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI).
It is unclear what led to the shooting.
DCI Administrator Lee Johnson said in a statement Friday evening that officials had located the white F-150 pickup truck in which Brown allegedly fled. However, Brown was not located in or around the vehicle.
After discovering the vehicle, authorities focused their search on the mountains near Stumptown Road. The search continued into Sunday and has involved air and ground resources.
SWAT also cleared Brown's house Friday, though he remained at large.
Law enforcement officials have not received reports of Brown harming any other people, though he is believed to be armed and dangerous.
Residents in the area have been encouraged to stay inside their homes and remain on high alert.
DCI has warned residents that if they see Brown not to approach him. Instead, residents are encouraged to call 911 immediately. He has been described as 5-foot-10 and about 170 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.
Brown was an armor crewman in the Army from January 2001 to May 2005 and served in the National Guard from April 2006 to March 2008, Army Public Affairs confirmed to Fox News Digital. He deployed to Iraq from February 2004 to March 2005 and left the service with the rank of sergeant.
He also served as an armor crewman in the Montana National Guard from April 2006 to March 2009, officials said.

Ventura community mourns loss of cafe co-owner killed in Reno mass shooting
A Ventura County community is mourning the loss of a beloved 33-year-old man, co-owner of a popular restaurant, who was shot and killed outside a Reno, Nevada casino Monday in a mass shooting that left two others dead and three wounded. The violence unfolded outside the Grand Sierra Resort, one of Reno's most popular venues, at around 7:30 a.m. Authorities said the gunman walked up to the casino-hotel's valet parking area and pointed a handgun at a group of people. The firearm initially malfunctioned, but the shooter worked quickly to get it working, firing multiple rounds as he fled. While fleeing, the suspect shot an armed security guard, shot and killed a person driving their vehicle in the parking lot and also fired on a Reno police officer, striking the patrol vehicle before multiple officers returned fire and struck the man and took him into custody. The gunman, who has yet to be identified, was armed with multiple magazines, investigators said. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Andrew Canepa, co-owner of the Side Street Cafe in Newbury Park, was among the victims killed. The 33-year-old, who is the father of a 6-year-old boy, was remembered as a big reason the cafe is considered one of the most popular breakfast spots in the community. 'He would sit down with people at the booth, share with them and make them feel at home,' Canepa's friend Rick Bucaria told KTLA. 'Andrew was so warm and welcoming. He was always so happy.' Outside the family-owned cafe, which was closed for the first time in months, friends and employees grieved the loss of a man they described as a dedicated community member. 'It's because of the family tied to it, the love that comes from it,' Israel Rodriguez said. 'Andrew was a big part of that. He probably greeted and waited on almost everybody in this city.' After the 2018 mass shooting at the Borderline Bar and Grill in Thousand Oaks, Canepa helped organize a fundraiser. 'The community was ripped apart,' Rodriguez told KTLA. 'He was very active in helping victims. It's a sad, tragic turn of events that he's now a victim of that.' A GoFundMe has been organized to help support Canepa's son after the loss of his father.
