'Well, I'm not gonna hang my ass off airplanes and sh-t like that, so when he does something again that's on the ground,' Pitt told E! News last week.
Cruise, who famously does his own stunts in films including the 'Mission: Impossible' franchise, has been imploring fans to go see Pitt's new sports drama film in which he plays a former Formula 1 driver.

'He's so sweet. He's sweet,' Pitt said to E! News about the 'Top Gun' star.
'We did have our Go-Kart days back in the early 90s,' Pitt further recalled. When asked who was the faster driver, Pitt said of Cruise, 'He got me in the end. I gotta admit.'

'Brad's got a new movie, with Jerry Bruckheimer, Joe Kosinski,' Cruise said on stage. 'I can't wait to see that this summer. It'll be awesome.'
'It's great to see Brad driving,' Cruise added. 'He's very good. He's a very good driver. Believe me, I've raced against him. When we were doing 'Interview with the Vampire' we'd go and race go-karts. We'd literally finish and go drive go-karts all night.'

Bruckheimer, 81, and Kosinski, 51, have worked with Pitt on 'F1' and Cruise on 2022's smash hit 'Top Gun: Maverick.'
In a recent interview with GQ magazine, Kosinsk spoke about the differences in working with Pitt and Cruise.

'Tom always pushes it to the limit, but at the same time is super capable and very skilled,' Kosinski said. 'They both have the natural talent for driving. But yeah, I could see Tom maybe scaring us a little bit more.'

'F1' action-vehicle supervisor, Graham Kelly, added: 'We'd have had a crash. Tom pushes it to the limit. I mean really to the limit. That terrifies me. I mean, I've done loads of 'Mission: Impossibles' with Tom and it's the most stressful experience for someone like me building cars for him, doing stunts with him. Whereas Brad listens and he knows his abilities, and I think he'd be the first to say, 'Yeah, I'm not going to do that.''

In that same interview, Kosinski revealed that Pitt and Cruise were supposed to reunite for his version of 'Ford v Ferrari,' but the studio didn't approve his budget. James Mangold ended up directing the 2019 sports drama starring Christian Bale and Matt Damon.
'F1,' also starring Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies and Javier Bardem, will be released in theaters June 27.

Ringo Starr's son Zak Starkey reveals alleged altercation with The Who's Roger Daltrey got him fired
Zak Starkey can explain. The Who's former drummer, 59, addressed his shocking exit from the band in a new interview with The Telegraph published on Monday, June 16, and shed some light on what allegedly led to his firing. In April, The Who announced they were parting ways with Starkey — who is Ringo Starr's son — following two shows at Royal Albert Hall in the UK, which saw the likes of Bill Murray, Sadie Frost, Tracy-Ann Oberman, and famed hypnotist Paul McKenna, in attendance. But, the drummer claims it wasn't his performance that was lacking. 9 Starkey with his father, Ringo Starr, in London in September 2016. David M. Starkey watched the performance but said, 'I can't find any dropped beats,' claiming, 'Then Pete [Townshend] had to go along with it because Pete's had 60 years of arguing with Roger.' But the drama didn't stop there. 9 'Roger says you dropped some beats,' Starkey was allegedly told when he was fired from The Who. Getty Images for The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Starkey shared that he still wanted back in the band after the alleged feud; however, he was allegedly instructed that he needed to admit that he dropped 'two beats' in the performance. Starkey shockingly doesn't have any hard feelings, telling The Telegraph, 'I don't blame anyone. I blame The Who because they're unpredictable, aggressive and f—— insane,' stating those are reasons he 'loves' the band. 9 'I don't blame anyone,' Starkey said. Starkey claimed that Daltrey told him he wasn't 'fired' from the band for a second time but rather 'retired' and free to work on his own projects. He clarified, 'The lie is or would have been that I quit The Who — i didn't. I love The Who and everyone in it.' Starkey, the son of The Beatles' Ringo Starr, joined The Who in 1996.

Barbra Streisand ‘can't remember' if she ‘actually had penetration' with Warren Beatty
Funny girl. Barbra Streisand, 83, won't admit whether she and her longtime pal Warren Beatty, 88, ever slept together during their rumored fling in the '70s. The 'A Star Is Born' actress and singer opened up about the NSFW matter during an interview with The New Yorker published on Saturday, June 14, while discussing a similar anecdote she shared in her 2023 tell-all 'My Name Is Barbra.' 8 Barbra Streisand won't admit whether she and her longtime pal Warren Beatty ever slept together. AFP via Getty Images 'I know I slept in the bed with him, but I can't remember if we actually had penetration,' she claimed. 'I swear to God, I can't. There are certain things I block out.' However, Streisand quickly moved away from the topic when the interviewer pressed her further about whether or not she ever slept with the 'Dick Tracy' star. 'But I know we're still friends,' she said, changing the subject. 'Every year on my birthday, he calls me and we have a wonderful talk about our lives, our children, and so forth.' 8 'I know I slept in the bed with him, but I can't remember if we actually had penetration,' Streisand claimed. 'I met him when I was fifteen years old, and he was twenty-one, I think.' In 'My Name Is Barbra,' the 'Funny Girl' star recalled first meeting Beatty at the Clinton Playhouse in Connecticut when she was 16 and he was 21. She described Beatty as 'tall with movie-star looks' and wrote that 'women were already falling at his feet.' Streisand also wrote about an interview she gave Playboy in 1977 in which the reporter asked whether she was ever 'romantically linked' with the 'Bonnie and Clyde' actor. 8 Streisand and Beatty first met at the Clinton Playhouse in Connecticut when she was 16 and he was 21.
