Israeli troops advance into Syria's Quneitra
Israeli forces conducted a new ground maneuver inside Syria's Quneitra province on Tuesday, reinforcing their presence with armored patrols and military convoys near several key towns along the ceasefire line.
According to eyewitnesses, an Israeli military patrol entered the town of Tarnajah in northern Quneitra, briefly halting in the main square before proceeding toward Hadar, a village near the UN-monitored ceasefire line in the northern countryside.
Moreover, an Israeli military convoy was observed moving from Tel al-Ahmar al-Gharbi toward the outskirts of al-Asbah in the southern part of the province.
These operations are part of a series of intensified Israeli activities in Quneitra over recent days, which have included reconnaissance missions along the disengagement line, the deployment of armored units near towns such as Hadar and Tarnajah, and the establishment of temporary checkpoints near Tel al-Ahmar and Tel al-Faras.

The resolution, adopted in 2015, outlines a timeline for Syria's political transition, including negotiations to form an inclusive, credible government. It also details drafting a new constitution and calls for UN-supervised free and fair elections. The statement stressed the UN's vital role in facilitating a comprehensive national dialogue involving all Syrian parties to build a united, democratic, and pluralistic Syria that respects citizens' rights and meets their aspirations for freedom, peace, and justice.

Iraq, Iran sign border security agreement
Baghdad ( – Iraq and Iran signed on Monday a new security agreement aiming to strengthen cooperation across the borders between the two countries. The agreement was signed during the official visit of the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Ali Larijani, to Baghdad, which sought to deepen bilateral security cooperation amid escalating regional instability. The Iraqi Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, later met with Larijani and attended a ceremony held to sign the agreement, which officials say aims to improve border security operations.
