Auction volumes ‘robust' following May interest rate cut
REA Group Senior Economist Eleanor Creagh discusses the robustness of auction volumes following the May interest rate cut.
'Auction activity is a little bit quieter this week than this same corresponding week last year,' Ms Creagh told Sky News Business Reporter Ed Boyd.
'We have seen that auction volumes have been pretty robust over the past few weeks, with interest rates falling again in May.
'On the demand side of things, the same goes.'

'Quite clearly, Australian companies would be concerned about the review; however, I think it is important to not let ourselves get ahead of where we are right now,' Mr Clark told Sky News host Ed Boyd. 'It is not an unusual event for governments to do reviews. 'I would think that the Trump administration would be remiss if they actually weren't doing the review into AUKUS.'
