Cairo hosts draw ceremony for Junior World Handball Championship
The draw ceremony for the Junior World Handball Championship (born in 2006) is held today, Tuesday, at one of Cairo's historic palaces. Egypt will host the championship next August, with the participation of 32 teams from around the world.
The ceremony is attended by a number of prominent sports figures.
Noteworthy, Egypt is working diligently to prepare for this major global event, as everyone is striving to ensure the best possible organization. This is part of the country's ongoing efforts to host world championships in various sports, thanks to the significant developments it has achieved in its infrastructure.
The General Sports Authority has made great efforts, in cooperation with the Egyptian Handball Federation, to organize a distinguished draw ceremony. At the same time, preparations and arrangements for the championship continue at all levels to ensure its success.

35000 Participants Expected to Take Part in 2025 Harbin Marathon
Rana Atef China Heilongjiang Province's Harbin will host the Harbin Marathon. It is a major international sporting event, on the last day of summer, according to Dongbeiwang, a partner of TV BRICS . It is expected that more than 35,000 people will participate in this year's edition. 15,000 will run the full marathon distance of 42.19 kilometres, while the remaining 20,000 will run the half marathon of 21.09 kilometres. It is noted that this event is held according to world standards and has the gold label of the International Association of Athletics Federations, as well as A1 category according to the rules of the Chinese Association of Athletics. The route of the competition runs through the iconic places of the locality. Participants will run past famous monuments and architectural landmarks, familiarising themselves with Harbin's cultural heritage. The marathon will be a kind of musical and cultural journey through the metropolis known as the City of Music, the Summer Capital of the Ice Region and the Cradle of Olympic Champions.
